I was told if I wanted something delicious and sweet to try Cake Corner and they were not wrong! I was able to park right in front of the establishment. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and was happy to see such a variety of cupcakes, cookies and brownies! I wanted to take one of everything! I decided to go with a chocolate chip cookie and it is so big! I also got a fudge brownie! I was checked out quickly and the price was sooo reasonable!! The employee was so kind and funny! My husband & I been fans of Cake Corner for years. Our wedding cupcakes came for this wonderful bakery. Their baked goods are delicious. They have the classics, and they do them very well. I love their vanilla cake with classic buttercream. They take orders over the phone or in person. The staff is friendly. They can help you with ideas & what you need/want. The bakery itself is located on a small street in Pooler. There are large signs so the bakery is not difficult to find once you turn onto the street. There are four parking spots in front of the bakery. If those are taken you can park at Wendy's across the street. read more

Another great spot to visit when in the Savannah area. We fell in love as soon as we walked through the door. There are so many different cupcake flavors to choose from. We gave the peach cobbler cupcake & the red velvet macadamia nut cookie a try. Both items blew us away. The cupcake had big chunks of peach & who knew you could make a red velvet cookie even better! Dang, Son! I almost wish I hadn't found the Cake Corner! I'm gaining weight just thinking about it! All their goodies look delicious. Everything is home made (like your Grandma made, or like when you were a kid). The icing is REAL icing! You can taste the real, rich ingredients in each cake, cookie, or brownie. I didn't even realize that this was a bakery for the first several years I've lived in the area. It's in a house and until recently they were easily missed. Just recently they have added a giant blinking sign with an arrow pointing at the house. Even after finding out it was a bakery I've never stopped in before because I wasn't sure what was in there. Since it is in a house you can't see in and I wasn't sure what to expect. I didn't know if they only did cakes by orders or if you could just go in a pick out a cookie or a cupcake just because... I ended up finally going in because a friend asked me to run in and pick up something as a favor. It was extremely hard to park. They have two spaces up front and a tiny grass parking lot in the side. They have a handful of baked goods in a case to choose from but they seem to do most of the business from cake orders and selling cake boxes and decorations to other bakers. The storefront itself is small and cramped and hard to move around. I stopped in as a favor for a friend to pick up something and had a hard time locating what I was looking for and it took a few minutes to get some help (to be fair the counter person was helping other costumers that were there first) They have a $5 minimum for debit/credit cards so I had to buy something else to get to $5 since I had no cash. I decided to get my husband a Red Velvet cupcake because he loves Red Velvet. He was disappointed with it and I had a bite. It just tasted like a box cake mix with red dye in it. It didn't taste like actual red velvet. He did like the icing. Also, when I went to leave I had a very hard time getting out of the tiny parking lot. Another car had parked directly behind me and I was barely able to squeeze out. For the parking alone I don't think I'll be back. read more

Let me start by saying I have been going to cake corner for years and have never had an issue. I ordered my sister a strawberry cake with buttercream icing for her cancer free celebration. Went to pick up my cake and there was no cake. The lady at the counter was very apologetic and nice, but then came out an older lady which I found out to be the owner's mother. She came out and pretty much told me that it was human era and I had three choices. I could either take what they had in the back which was a regular vanilla cake with buttercream icing and she could give me $2 back, I could come back in the morning,(which I told her I lived 45mins away), or I could leave with nothing at all! After explaining how I felt about the situation she finally got approval from the manager to give me the cake they had and gave me half off. Her attitude, demeanor, and lack of care was not a positive look for your business. read more

The cupcakes tasted like cardboard and the filling to reveal the gender was never placed inside the cupcakes which I paid extra for. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! I love their red velvet cupcakes and their yellow cakes. The icing that they use for the cakes are extremely good. I recently bought a cake for one of my colleague's going away gathering and EVERYONE loved it. There wasn't one complaint in the office. Also They are open from 10 am until 6 pm which are also the hours that I work and the very nice ladies stayed late until I got there so that I will be able to pick up the cake.
