I'm always happy with the quality of my drinks when I come here. It's a good spot both the college crowd and the people who live in town.

This is one of my absolute favorite places to eat in macomb!!! I food is amazing!!!! Always…read morefriendly atmosphere. I will share a story about how special this place really is when I was pregnant with my son I ate here all the time because I just loved it and all the staff would always ask how my pregnancy was and genuinely cared my son and I continued to always come here my son was an extremely picky eater and they would always go out of there way to prepare him something the way he would eat it down to cooking a hot dog in the microwave for 6seconds exactly to making different spaghetti sauce just the way he liked it. This place in my book will never be topped!!!

Upon entering, it is a dimly lit bar with booths and tables around the outside with a very laid back, dive bar feel. We were seated right away in a large booth. The staff was very friendly and share waitress/bartender/hostess duties amongst them so there is always someone willing to help. I had a hamburger pony with no bread and chili. This is a delicious burger patty served with lattice fries on top of it and then smothered in chili and cheese. Think chili cheese fries on top of your burger! It was as good as it sounds. My children had nachos and chicken tenders. They enjoyed them, but regretted not getting cheese burgers. Overall, it was good with my only complaints being that my burger was a little overdone and they don't have coke products.

We all…read moreenjoyed some beers or cocktails, and the food overall was good - heavy, decadent, messy bar food! I tried the ponyshoe with tenderloin and grilled onions, the bratwurst with onion rings, and the tenderloin sandwich. Everything was good, and we had a good time here! The service was good, and the food came out fast. No complaints! Had a great time!

These were amazing! Wasn't a fan of the water thin chipotle ranch, but the cheese stands alone. The hamburger Pony Shoe was flavorful and plentiful! Winner! The ribeye sandwich was another story. It came to the table dressed as a burger, with bacon lettuce tomato and some condiment. I was taken aback. I've never seen an establishment do that to such a flavorful cut of meat. Sorry, no review as I sent it back. But the onion rings were probably the best I've eaten in Macomb. There were 6 people who seemed to be staff for maybe 20 diners and a handful of drinkers. We didn't get bad service, we did feel a bit like an inconvenience a couple of times. Average service overall. If you hold higher expectations for a total dining experience, look elsewhere. Maybe more experienced diners aren't looking at the hot spot it could be on the weekends. (Old fogies out of our element?)
