We had a large party about 25 people and they set up a table in the back room I'll be on the course is normal for Buffalo wild wings, but the service was really good. My burger was cooked well, and the fries were done and not soggy. The food came out fairly quickly, but the server kept everybody's drinks filled and stayed very attentive to the table. Ahh yes, Buffalo Wild Wings of Macomb. BDubs (as most call is) is a Macomb hot spot for college students and locals alike. The place is nice, ton of TV's, games, noise, and more. It is very much the typical BDubs, with the local Macomb/WIU flare of some Western apparel. Service here is okay, very typical of college town service. Nothing to cheer over and write home about. Sometimes you get a great waitress, who is attentive, and goes above and beyond in here job, then sometimes you get waitresses who would rather be any place other than work. Food is is stand of BDubs, sometimes it is good, hot, and all that. Sometimes it isnt. Sometimes the wings are drowning in sauce, sometimes they aren't. We ordered burgers (look - I know it's a wing joint but we could smell the meat all the way down the street) and were blown away by the tasty creations that were brought to our table! I came in about 10:30/11:00 PM on a Friday night, can't remember which exactly. I ordered a beer, medium sized boneless wings in separate wild and honey bbq flavors as well as the garlic fries. First problem: It took forever to get my food. I was sitting at the bar. The entire place was pretty empty and there wasn't much going on at all. I would later find out from the waitress/bartender that a lot of the staff were sent home or elected to go home earlier and she got slammed taking care of the bar and some tables. Well, now there's not much going on at all, to the point where she can stand and talk to the couple other guys at the bar having a beer. I finally get my boneless wings. They come out like they have been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. They are stale, NOT FRESH, and just warm to the touch, not even hot, as well as undersauced; a couple of the Wild didn't even have sauce on them. The garlic fries were pretty good. I ate about half the wings from the medium order and half the fries. I mostly at the honey bbq boneless wings and only a couple of the wild just because I had wanted pizza hut's honey bbq wings earlier so was feeling those mostly. That night I get sick. I don't really get sick from food often. I am a person who regularly eats hot foods, puts extra hot sauce on everything, from a cajun family and have no problems with spicy or hot foods. I end up getting very little sleep because of constant trips to the bathroom. The next morning, a bit more of the same then I have to go to work. I feel better at this point and decide, you know what, I'm going to have just a couple of these boneless wings and fries for lunch before work, along with a sandwich just to test things out. An hour into work, same problems again. I'm forced to GO HOME EARLY and lose out on my paycheck for what I'm pretty sure was the lukewarm boneless wings I had from here the night before. After work, I walk into the store and ASK the MANAGER if they had any issues with food related illnesses from the night before or today. I explain my situation and they get the head manager, GM I believe, and before leaving he asks me if I come here often, then gives me his card off of the table next to where we're standing at the entrance. NOT really SATISFACTORY CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'm not going to stand there and beg for a refund, though. That's just not my nature. I'm just not going to be a customer at this location again. Funny thing, I ran into my bartender/waitress out in town the next night. I'm with my friend who also had a fun afternoon after eating my leftovers in the fridge. She tells me that the BONELESS WINGS are PRECOOKED, so she doesn't think it would have come from those. That still doesn't explain the STALE, HEAT LAMPED texture of them, how they could be UNDERSAUCED if they are "hand spun", or why it took SO LONG to get STALE BONELESS WINGS that clearly were not just cooked. I do not plan on giving my money to this location again due to the POOR SERVICE and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE in how my issue was resolved. I will go to a Buffalo Wild Wings at another location, but not here in Macomb. I would suggest you go to CHICKS ON THE SQUARE instead, as I will do from here on out, or just order wings from Wingstreet. My first experience with BWW was when I lived in Peoria. When they first opened, the food was crisp, hot, everything the corporate powers-that-be would have wanted out of their little pet. But of course, once the honeymoon is over, people get lazy, cut corners, and the food and service reflect that attitude. Except, that is, in good ol' Macomb. The service was nice. Just....nice. At times our server looked annoyed with the whole idea of just being at work, but she got us everything we needed. My companion had told me, "this is where I get the most consistent service in town." She and I both grew up in the 'burbs, so if BWW is the best in town, you take the money and run! Of course, can't beat huge-ass boneless wings for 50¢ apiece on Mondays. This one is pretty good, although we had to ask for the music to be turned down (at lunch time) so we could talk around our large, round, table. While Buffalo Wild Wings is one of my favorite restaurants, this location is quite the opposite. I have eaten there four times and never really been impressed by either the food or the service. The last time I visited, I was at a table by myself and was essentially ignored. I was there for 35 minutes and in that time I was not able to get an order of 11 boneless wings. What made me decide to never go back to this location was that there was a table of two that got seated twenty minutes after me and they got their food before I did. Also keep in mind that this was a Thursday evening where there were plenty of waitresses standing around because business was slow. The only reason I decided not to sit at the bar was because their bar service tends to be pretty slow. I guess they don't value tables of one in the dinning area. I believe the food at this location is pretty similar in quality to other locations, but the service is horrible at times. read more

Rather disappointing. The B-Dubs I've been to in the Western Suburbs were much better. After a less than stellar first visit to the Macomb location, I decided to give it one more chance. It was a mistake. Everything I've had at this Buffalo Wild Wings was not very good. Setting - The best part about this restaurant is the setting. Lots of TV's for sports, good music, a very colorful and inviting place to hang with your family and friends to watch the game. Service- Was displeased with the servers at this location. Took a while for the greeter to get to me, and my waitress seemed to be in a major hurry the entire time I was there. I did not feel like a priority. Food- Not good at all. I ordered the boneless wings in three different sauces and the breading/skin on the wings were hard/crusty, the chicken wasn't very tender, and the sauces were merely average. The most disappointing thing about it was that the chicken was very cold. At first, they were luke-warm, but eventually got cold very quickly. I also ordered the potato wedges with cheese, and little did I know that the cheese was simply shredded cheese sprinkled on top of the wedges. Everywhere else I've been, I got a cheese sauce dip to dip my fries in...not shredded cheese. I should also note that the wedges tasted undercooked. I'm not usually a fan of chain restaurants, but BWW is really good. The food and drinks have never been disappointing, although I do find their prices to be a little high. The wings at times can be a little saucy, but never so much that they are inedible. Thanks to Chloe I will not be returning to this lazy location. I called in an order at 10:15 for a simple order(2 snack traditional and basket of wedges) only to be places on hold for 7 minutes before returning to the phone to take my order. When I arrive Chloe is nowhere to be found for the next 6 minutes, as the rest of the staff continue to tell me they can't help me because the hostess is the only person that can complete my order. When Chloe finally decided to arrive and do her job, she took my payment to only start a conversation with other staff members about how she doesn't understand how people on the first of the month have so much money(unprofessional). Rather than going to the kitchen to retrieve my order, she decide this was the perfect time to seat a party of two and clean tables while I continue to wait for it to be convenient for her to get me order. When I finally get my order back home its 11:10, order is ice cold, with no ranch and/or blue cheese. Im sure this will fall on deaf ears, and Chleo's professionalism will go uncorrected. Professionalism such as Chleos are the reasons why business in macomb continue to close such as pandarosa, Hardy's, and Red Ox are just a few examples. We frequent BWs quite often with my father in law who is in a wheel chair. On January 1, there are not many options for dining out in Macomb BUT BWs is usually always open! The place was packed (almost every place in town was closed especially the day after NYE) and the manager, Justine, was amazing! She kept us informed of the wait time, was pleasant, and offered us service with a smile! She helped make room for the wheelchair at our table and genuinely cared about our experience. read more
