The best thing about this location with the food is there are no disappointments. I would imagine, like myself, diners have noticed the quality of food at restaurants has greatly declined. Regardless of where you go or have gone in the past the quality of the food has become a disappointment. I would like to say I was surprised by the great taste of the food at this location, but it was what I had heard from others. I wasn't disappointed, but the quality of the food exceeded what I expected. Bravo Riverside for maintai ing a quality of excellence. This in itself would be enough for my wife and I, but the inviting ambiance of this establishment aligned with the high quality of the food. Again......Bravo. Now to the best part of this gem tucked away in Havana. The service of the was out of the 1950s. We had suck a good experience with the young man that waited on us I was sure he was the son of the owner, but was merely an employee who had parents that brought him up properly. I don't know the owners, this isn't a gimmick review, but a review from someone who has spent years eating at four and five star restaurants up and down the west cost. What a nice surprise to fine this gem in a bucket full of rocks here in Havana. Good form Riverside....Good form read more

First time visit. Outstanding food. Had the brisket pony shoe. Their cheese sauce is outrageously good. Our party of 5 raved about everything we were served. The server was the bomb! Clean..restrooms were spotless. We will definitely return. read more

Food quality is very inconsistent. Worst Italian beef I've ever had. Stay away. I believe I saw people inquiring about buying nose candy here too. read more

Cool bar/restaurant. Authentic, delish, great service! Met a friend for dinner and ambiance was perfection.

This is simply the best horseshoe I ever had. I eat here all the time, yes that is true. There is a reason. Tonight i tried the horseshoe for the first time. Not even sure where to start to describe this treat. I am going to start with the steak. Any criticism I have about this dish would be the steak. The steak was cooked perfect to medium rare. The seasoning was almost perfect. I would like a touch more salt. I would also like just a little bit of a crust on the steak. I am nitpicking. I was looking for a flaw. This is all I could find. The beer cheese i wanted to drink with a straw. Hands down the best beer cheese sauce I ever had. The flavors were spot on. The fries had a slight crunch on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside. Well seasoned. The Texas toast was not just a couple pieces of bread thrown on a plate. It was crunchy garlic bread Texas toast. The crunch help up well to the delicious beer cheese. The garlic flavor was pronounced and added greatly to the flavor of the dish. This is now my new favorite meal here. read more

When I heard of this place opening up I couldn't wait to try it. This town needed another great restaurant and Riverside does just that. I've came here a couple times now and tried a few different things. First off, the cheese curds, or cubes as I would call them, are flat out amazing. They just melt in your mouth. Then I got just a cheeseburger and fries, burger was perfect and the fries were delicious. The second time I got the curds again, I might be addicted. This time I got the riverside burger and the cole slaw to go with it. The riverside burger had their signature river sauce on it and it was delicious. Such a great burger, the bun, sauce, bacon, patties, YUM. The cole slaw was a great pairing with it and definitely some of the best slaw I have had in a long time. The waitresses have always been great and very friendly. Love the atmosphere inside, so many TV's and thousands of cool signs to look at. I will 100% be back and this place is a must try if you are in Havana. read more

We came in a whim one night. I had the horseshoe and my son had chicken fingers. The horseshoe was a beer cheese horseshoe which you don't find a lot of north of Springfield. The chicken and fries were average pub food my son said. He'd eat them again. read more

The restaurant is very clean, cool atmosphere but the food was overpriced and not worth the cost. My grilled chicken sandwich was overcooked, dry and hard on the edges. My husband's food was not hot. Our waitress was not friendly, we didn't get our side salads we ordered and asked for the check to be adjusted. She walked away, came back and said "here is your discount"--she took off my husband's soda. . read more
