I still hold the opinion that what should have been a simple bathroom gut and update did not have to be the fiasco it turned into. With a bit of more concise orchestration of scheduling, AK&B could have avoided many of the mishaps we experienced. If it not been for those mishaps, I'd be able to dole out 5 stars easily but for now, I will settle at four stars which is really more like 3.5 to 3.75. I will say thank goodness for our designer who generously held our hands and went the extra mile just about every step of the way. She sold us and we bought into her vision and style. The final product she helped put together is nothing short of exceptional. More than anything we're glad this is over just in time for the Holidays.

It was not until the time of install (and once they had my downpayment) that all these extra costs and details were missed. BTW, I also went to Granite Direct, Wales, WI to have another top done and it was the easiest process ever (unlike Allen Kitchen). The kicker was when THEY make a mistake, Laree gave me a quote to fix it (which they expected me to pay). Save the pain and frustration and go elsewhere!

She redesigned the entire bathroom and it actually works out better for us. We needed a handicapped accessible bathroom and she was very conscious of making sure we were comfortable with every decision and action from beginning to end. Then we met with Eric, Brittany and Staci to go over everything from beginning to end. They all walked us through everything and how we could track daily updates. Through the process, they communicated constantly to make sure things were going good. Martin was also incredible every time he was here.
