This is my go-to pizza place when I've got a big group of friends. They have a pretty decent selection of various pizzas and the large portions encourage lots of eating. Their white garlic sauce is a must, and I would definitely recommend throwing on some pepper flakes and parmesan to give the pizza an extra kick. read more

Many years ago we used to live about 20 miles away and loved going to The Cabin. I loved the atmosphere and found no problem with their ordering system. Nothing has changed in 30 years We recently bought a vacation home in Wiscasset and have returned twice recently to the Cabin. This is still THE BEST PIZZA Ever in my opinion. However I have learned Pizza is the one food that is really hard to recommend , everyone has such different opinions. My husband, a real foodie, does not even like Pizza but he loves this Pizza. We do not get there often enough to try the other menu items so I have no opinion on those. Do not be put off by the negative reviews, Good Pizza is very subjective and this is worth a try. I've always enjoyed the Cabin, for simplicity and family friendliness it can't be beat. The pizzas are good, the salads too, and they are keeping up with the micro-brew craze in the beers they offer. Oh Cabin, My Cabin. Where do I begin?? I grew up in Bath, which means I grew up eating pizza from the Cabin. I remember it back before the additional room was built. It was always considered the best pizza around. I have lived away from Bath for a few years, but still made occasional trips back and always made a point to stop here. Recently moved back to Bath, and its still my favorite! Get the dough knots. Get them. Knots of fresh delicious bread, soaked in olive oil, garlic, and herbs, and served with a yummy marinara dipping sauce. Best thing EVER! And my favorite specialty pizza? The Noreaster. White pizza with ham, tomato, and feta. OMG! I want to try the other specialty pizzas, I really do. But I end up ordering this one every time. Some day.... Oh Cabin, I love you so! It is right across the street from Bath Iron Works. It has small windows and a dark entrance. I wrongly assumed this was an iron worker/ship builder enclave where I might get my ass kicked for not knowing the union handshake. I did get my ass kicked, but by the awesome pizza! I had visions of Roadhouse with Patrick Swayze. I was very wrong about the clientele. I know people that work at BIW, yet I still have this image of iron workers always needing to kick someone's ass? The Cabin is a great family pizza joint that lives up to its claim: " The only real pizza in Maine." Ordering is a little odd for dining in. You go to the cashier and tell them what you want, drinks too, pay, and then someone yells your name when the pie is done to deliver to your table. Most of their draft beers are commodity, but they did have Pemaquid Point Ale on draft. The bottled beer selection is great. There is a big parking lot and ample space within. The inside has a number of rooms to sit in with rustic wood benches and booths. There is even a place outside if the bugs aren't bad. NO CREDIT CARDS- BRING CASH! read more

I love Cabin pizza. I'm pretty sure just about everyone who's tried it agrees - just look at all the other reviews. Homemade taste and comfortable atmosphere. It's always great to be able to have a beer or glass of wine along with the meal, too. These guys would have five stars IF: 1) They weren't one of the last remaining 'Cash Only' establishments. I debit EVERYTHING, along with everyone I know... (and paying for a large party can be pretty inconvenient) 2) Even when there's hardly anyone in the joint, it still takes a good 25-30 minutes AT LEAST to get my pizza. Sorry, Cabin. For better pizza, may I direct you to the frozen foods section of your local supermarket? For superior pizza, go to Flipside on Maine St in Brunswick. There are also a number of places in Portland. All of these make the pizza from The Cabin look like playdoh with ketchup and mozzarella... And then charge you $20... In cash. Really sad efforts. We stopped here on the way home to Boston. Its right off the highway, easy to get to, and they have a parking lot. You order at the counter and they bring your pizza to your table. No waiters. They gave us chilled mugs and pointed to a spring water machine. I loved it. Great for kids, easy, no waiting around for a server. We tried out the sweet and spicy sauce. I didn't love it. Too sweet for me. Its pizza though, so we ate it! The interior of the restaurant could use some love. The seat of the booth we sat in fell backward when we sat down. Luckily we stopped it. Didn't feel safe (or relaxing) at all. The radiator under our table was so so filthy, with old napkins tucked into it. Really was gross. I'm from NY so I am very picky about pizza but the cabin does a great job in satisfying with great pizza!!! The garlic knots are Delish! They don't last for very long, we devour them as soon as they are brought to us. Our favorite is the white pizza and pepperoni pizza. The place is dark, cozy, with dark wood interior. They also have a 28' pizza, which has been great when we have gone with our entire family of more than 10. You place your order with the cashier. They do not come to your table and take your order but will bring out your food to you. We don't mind that at all. They only take cash but have an atm inside the restaurant in case you don't have any. Only negative is during the winter it can be cold inside while you eat. Whenever we want pizza, The Cabin is where we go! read more

Ate here several times and had the basil pizza both times (actually all three times). It is the closest place to work. My coworkers seemed to enjoy their sandwiches. Had takeout from here last night. God the Nor'easter, which is a white pizza with canadian bacon and tomatoes. Definitely a competent pizza, and worth eating again. But, nothing memorable about it. Crust was good, but not spectacular. Topping combo was also good, but nothing above-and-beyond.
