Two Words: LIFE SAVERS! The barber, whose name I could only remember as Sticks, answered a five alarm hair emergency early Sunday morning. It had been about 6 weeks since my last cut, only because things had been so busy I couldn't make the time to get in to see my usual guy. Saturday night, I made the ill decision of trying to DIY a haircut and my wife, who is usually very skilled with cosmetics, felt up to the task. After about 30 minutes of TikTok videos, she felt prepared to fade me up and, well, the results are pictured. Thankfully, this barber shop is open Sundays AND accept walk-ins. After about two hours of rescue work I was back to life. Big shout out to my guy for fixing me up and saving my life! Will be returning again in the future. read more

I had to change my review once again. I'm so sick of the bs ppl feed me. Thought with the 2 free haircuts I was offered after one of the barbers messed up my sons haircut, offered by the owner, it wouldn't been rectified. But because my son usually wears his hair to one side and not the other of course we wouldn't notice, and apparently Eaz-e thought we wouldn't notice either. But I did notice. Totally missed a whole section of his head. What a freaking joke. How much money did I waste well over $120, even with the free cuts I still gave a tip, not even a deserved tip. My hard earned money went to a jokester who pretends to know how to cut hair. No thank you. And I do not want to be reached out to again. I don't want to be fed more bs. My friend told me about this place after having her son's hair cut here. My sons needed their hair cut bad, so I called on Gabe to see about getting my boys in. He got them in the same day. He welcomed them and listened to each about how they wanted their hair done. He had conversations with each of them and found out what they were interested in and really connected with them and made them feel relaxed. I cannot recommend this shop and the crew enough. The Burbs Barbershop is a great addition to the neighborhood (sure, they've been here almost a year, but some of us are still rocking our pandemic long hair). Eaz-e is a tried and true world class barber (seriously, dude has an impressive resume). What he and his crew do is art. Lots of shops are hit or miss depending on who you get, but this is a spot filled with talent that will leave you looking good and happy. The shop is clean. The vibe is good. My son needed a haircut and we've been struggling to find a barber that he wants to go to more than once. He's had some horrible experiences in the past and trying to get him to go is quite a chore. The Burbs had some good ratings so we thought we would give it a try. I called up and spoke with Gabe who told us he could get us in later that day. We came right in and Gabe welcomed both of us. He asked my son what he wanted to do with his hair and listened to what he had to say. My son commented that he really liked that Gabe actually listened to him and didn't just treat him like a "kid". Gabe took his time with him even though he was the last client of the day. He's extremely detail oriented and made sure everything looked great. He also had a great conversation with my son about cartoons and animation and put him completely at ease for the hour he was there. My son can't wait to go back and that's saying something. He said this is the best haircut he has ever had and Gabe is the best barber. If we could give ten stars we would. Absolutely fantastic service and an awesome cut! I went in because I had a terrible experience at a different shop and needed someone to fix my botched hair cut. Rich was amazing!! He took his time, was very thorough in fixing the a patchy hair cut, fixed my uneven side burns, ear arch, and neck line. The shop is brand new and so nice/clean with the nicest equipments especially the chair which were the best I've ever sat in for a haircut & still can't get over it LOL. Also has fun amenities for children like a mini basketball hoop and a claw machine filled with J's, shirts, etc. Eaz-e's been my go to barber for almost over a decade & I've never once walked away without a giant smile & boost of confidence because of how amazing his cuts are. I've reached the point where I just go in & tell him to do what he wants or thinks is best as I trust him that much to give me the best cut possible which always ends up blowing my expectations out of the water. The shop has an amazing fun environment from the barbers to customers creating a friendly/family vibe, which you'll be laughing the entire time. I highly recommend Eaz-e, but also any of this shop's barbers for anyone that needs a legit fade while having a good time or wants a forever go to barber/shop.
