Alright guys five years later and I'm still here updating my review. The man Sam does this thing and has been doing his thing. What an accomplishment how much he has grown and his barbershop over the past five years. From the vibe to the customer service to the service itself, this place has really grown. Everyone here is amazing. They all make sure you are taken care of, the atmosphere, the music, the hospitality is being words. I recently moved to the area and needed to find a new barber after going to the same person for more than 10 years. I was particular about finding someone new, but I got lucky with Hesam (Sam) at Headzup Barbershop. From my first appointment, Sam made me feel comfortable. He's a genuine, down-to-earth guy and really easy to talk to. After going to him for a while, it doesn't feel like I'm just showing up for a haircut. We catch up, talk about life, joke around, and it has that comfortable feeling you get when you've known someone for years. I'm growing my hair out right now, and Sam has been helping me through the whole process. Instead of just cutting it shorter every time, he knows how to shape it, work with the layers, and keep it looking good while it grows. That's something I'd normally expect from a good hairstylist, and Sam knows how to do both. He can give you a clean fade or taper, but he also knows what he's doing with scissors and longer hair. At this point, I don't even tell him what to do. I just come in, sit in the chair, and let Sam do his thing. He already knows how I like my hair and beard and what we're trying to do with the longer hair. That kind of trust is hard to find. His beard work is always clean, too. Everything is blended and lined up without being overdone. He remembers how I like it, so I'm not explaining everything again every time I come in. When I make an appointment, that time actually means something. I'm not sitting around forever waiting, but I also never feel like he's rushing me out of the chair. After having the same barber for over a decade, finding someone I trust again means a lot. Sam makes you feel welcome, treats you like family, and I genuinely enjoy going in and catching up with him. My man EB goes above and beyond for my fades and is always consistent with great attention to detail.The rest of his crew have amazing customer service and go above and beyond to get you right. I want to start by saying that I've been coming here for over three years now, and EB has consistently taken care of me for the most part. I have gotten a cut from almost everyone and they all give the cleanest fades and they are always friendly, kind, and welcoming to all the different people that come in. This is my second time getting my haircut with Sam and the experience has been amazing. I think this is the first time I have ever found someone who gets my style right from the very first cut. Usually, with other barbers, the first few days my hair takes time to fall into place, but with Sam it looked perfect on day one, even better than expected. Dave has been my barber and has made great recommendations to cut and style my hair and beard to suit my face. Some things I wouldn't have tried on my own but am really happy with the results. Fan-freaking-tastic. The vibe was a modern-cool environment with a ton of barbers. There were 5 people ahead of me and everyone was scene in minutes (although I was seen immediately because I had made an appointment). They read your comments when you book. In mine I had stated that I was using my lunch hour to get the 30minutes hair cut and I asked if it could be quick. DAVE, came out, said he saw my message and said no problem. I showed him a picture of a prior cut and he immediately went to work and didn't waste a minute. I mentioned if I had more time I'd want a beard cut also, he let me know he'd need more time and there would be an additional charge. I loved the honesty and transparency (it's a business after all).
