I own a hair salon. All of the stylist do excellent work. With that said, Richland Barbers is in the same center. Alfred, Pablo and the Barbers have always been super cool. This shop has a nostalgic vibe that brought me back in time. And on occasion I get my beard and hair tuned up. The experience is OUTSTANDING!! Super cool place that does a great job with kids. Brought my son for a cut and they lined him up really nicely; he's looking extra handsome now. The prices are not that bad and the vibe has an old school, modern 1950's look. Especially liked the chairs, was informed they were from 1910! The old stereo had to be from the early 50-60's. Was awesome to step into, was a flash from the past. They do good with kids, and they have late hours which makes it nice for the typical busy parent- like me. Will be going back and will be bringing my husband next time. Was offered water and seltzer for a drink, my son watched a kids movie to keep him busy on a huge 60 inch T.V. Recommended jewel that was stumbled upon in Orange. read more

My son is autistic and nonverbal and in the past my wife or myself would cut our son's hair but we're not experts. So after some research we found Richland Barbers and brought our son in and found Richland Barbers to be the best decision we can make. The atmosphere is pleaseant with antique declarations with an old school feel plus they treat you're an old friend. My son's Barber Manny Ramirez is great he really knows how to approach my son and made the entire process comfortable for him. I highly recommend them to parents of autistic children and we are making Richland Barbers our go to place. read more

This is the ultimate classic barber experience but elevated to the next level. The minute you walk in it's like you've gone back in time to when a haircut was an experience not just a transaction, or where you are just a number in a chair. Took my 6 year old for a haircut today at 1 pm. We were so happy with the customer service. The man (I didn't get his name) that cut his hair made him feel comfortable. That was everything to me. There were only two barbers in the shop. The vibe is very mellow. They have a tv playing a movie and music in the background as well. We will continue to come back. Give this place a try. I was referred to George but he wasn't working today but was so glad we had a chance to go in. read more

Highly recommend this Babershop ! Great customer service/professional & Always kept clean. My son has been getting his haircut here for a few years by Pablo. Since 2021 I started bringing him here and haven't gone to anyone else since. My son does have autism & can be triggered easily by sounds but Pablo works well with him; knows how to calm him & is very patient with my son. Hands down one of the best barber shops in Orange County and beyond! I've known Alfred for several years now but unfortunately due to his old business location shutting down plus the Covid-19 lockdown we somehow have lost contact over the last few years. Alfred finally opened a new location in the city of Orange with his new business partner Pablo and I was able to track him down on IG while in need of a good haircut and shave. I literally had no clue that the new location was that close to my house and I definitely will use his services more frequently going forward. The new salon itself is nicely decorated and also exceptionally clean. Should you get thirsty while waiting for your haircut there is complimentary water and beer at the fridge in the back! As always, I was incredibly pleased with my haircut and also having Alfred for the time trimming my beard. I highly recommend this barber shop to anyone in need of a good haircut or shave. This is the coolest barbers' shop I have ever been to. They offer free beverages, incredible haircuts, professional service...incredible. The vibe is vintage (with vintage chairs from the 1950's and earlier, vintage photos of Richland's past as well as vintage artwork. My youngest desperately needed a haircut, considering his hair was all over his face and was getting hard to maintain. I've been putting it off because I knew he would be crying up in the barbershop. I finally gave in and decided it was time for a haircut this one Saturday. I searched on yelp and these guys caught my attention with everyone's good reviews. Called in and booked an appt with Chris. Upon arrival everyone was so friendly, offered candy to my kids, put on some cartoon to make them at ease and just real old school vibes in here, love it! They offer free drinks too, sweet! Chris really took his time with my babyboys hair, Made him comfortable and really patient! Not a single tear that day and I was so happy with his hair! Definitely will be coming back! I've came here twice already. Both times I've been here it's been a perfect experience. The barbers know what they are doing. They are truly skilled, and talented. I was going to sports clips, but due to the inconsistency of my haircuts. I decided to venture to a new spot. Which is Richland Barbers. What a great decision. I went to Richland Barbers for the first time on Saturday. I called ahead to see if they took walk-ins and they said that they did but gave me a better window for service within 30 minutes. I arrived and was very politely greeted and offered a beverage. Chris took care of my cut. I've struggled to find a new haircut location and I've tried other barbers as well as the regular haircut chains and haven't been able to find anyone to give me the right cut. That is until Chris. He asked what I was looking for and very quickly delivered what I wanted. This is a 10 out of 5 stars if I could award that. read more

LOOK NO FURTHER! First time experience: Everyone in the shop made me feel welcome and offered me a cold beverage (water/beer) for the hot day. I explained what I wanted cut and Alfred attentively listened to exactly what I wanted and made sure we were on the same page before the cut. He was very patient to make sure it came out right and made me feel not rushed at all - EXCELLENT customer service to the detail. I'm very picky with my hair and it came out perfect! We've been seeing Pablo since the start of his career. I vividly remember asking him where he sees himself 5-10 years the first time I met him. He said to own a barbershop . It's an honor to see his dreams become a reality. Pablo is talented and his work ethic is outstanding. We've been with him for over 8 years and have recently moved out of state. GREAT spot for post- pandemic haircuts! We discovered this hidden gem while walking around our new neighborhood. We walked in without an appointment and they offered us refreshments while we waited our turn. Pablo is by far the best in the business. I have been with him since day one. He does such a great job I have recommended him to numerous people who also have stayed with him throughout the years.
