I used to do them with Laura, but I went on hiatus for a little while (I got bangs!), and when I came back I started doing them with Natalia, and can't be any happier! Great for a lash perm! I have super straight eyelashes that are long but do not curve up at all. An eyelash curler only lasts so long, so I decided to perm them again. (used to have it done at another location but needed something closer to home). I set up an appointment with Teresa and it was wonderful. It now looks as I am wearing fake eyelashes and they are all mine! Superb! Highly recommend. The appointment started on time and finished on time so I could get them done during my lunch hour!!! Only negative part: there is no sign or large numbers to read that you've found the brow shoppe. I would recommend they put up some writing in the window or on the big orange awning that covers the door into their building. Wow...no complaints here! After having several places butcher my eyebrows/face with waxing & tweezing, this place is a dream come true! I put my complete trust into brave "brow-stylist", Nery H. I say brave because I am one fuzzy girl and not many are so willing to take the challenge!! She used the threading technique for pretty much my whole face. She was very detailed and very attentive whenever she noticing a slight wincing ( I am a softy when it comes to pain tolerance...but beauty is pain afterall! ). Besides her technique/talent, she was also very friendly . I normally don't feel comfortable in any sort of salon...I tend to stay quiet. But with her, we were laughing & telling stories...just having fun. I am definitely going back to her. So like I said, I have no complaints whatsoever! Friendly atmospere, great brows, fuzz-free face (smoother than a babie's tuchas!), decent price for looking beautiful without burns or breakouts from waxing, and best of all: NON-STOP COMPLIMENTS FROM EVERYONE! I have known and used Laura, the proprietor, for more than a decade now. Every time she shapes my brows people think I have made a quick trip to a plastic surgeon! Her work is meticulous. And, even though she has shown me, dozens of times, how to clean a stray hair or few in between appointments, I only let her do so. The shape of my brows that she achieves is so flattering that I just won't touch them myself.... I am a bit confused as to some negative reviews as, having watched more than multiple dozens of people over the years leave her shop more delighted than one would expect from "just" a brow shaping. Think carefully before you use this shoppe. Laura did exactly what I did not want. She rapidly tweezed almost all my brows off when I said I did not want thin brows. She did not stop at any time or show me what she was doing although I asked her what she was doing several times. I have several holes in my brows now and only hope that they grow back. read more

So my eyebrow lady who charges me $7 to thread my thick brows to the T left to India on a pilgrimage for a month. She works from home and I wanted to cry when she told me she was going. If there is one thing that grows fast on me is my hair (yes, I think I'm part werewolf) and I really don't trust too many people to do my eyebrows. Desperate, I made an appointment at The Brow Shoppe with Laura aka (The Brow Queen) and forked over $40 to walk out with over arched and overly plucked eyebrows. I had been here in the past and she had done a kick ass job, but this time around I even had people comment they looked too short and too thin. It's been over a week and I don't know what she did, but ugh they are not growing out and it's beginning to annoy me. I have never been so disappointed (in respect to a beauty service) I have a ton of eyebrow and I had gone with them grown out in hopes to find someone to do a great job. This is the first review I've ever written but I was just so disgusted with the Brow Shoppe that I had to vent. I walked in and nobody even acknowledged my presence and when I spoke up eyes started rolling and who seemed to be the owner was unaccommodating and extremely rude. Besides, my mom had gone there twice and told me not to go there because they're overpriced and sloppy with their work. However, I went because I was desperate and it was the only threading place in the area. NEVER AGAIN will I be back and I highly don't recommend it. I get my eyebrows threaded regularly, and this was a combination of waxing, plucking and threading. She still left my brows looking messy as hell with all the time she spent on them. Unfortunately the quality of service has dwindled significantly. My brows weren't perfect every single time. For 35$ + tip I expect perfection. Over the years I have only seen Laura, the owner a handful of times & her customer service skills are lacking to say the least. Thankfully both Natalia & Tania are sweet and attentive. So after growing my brows for nearly 5 months (so that I would get an amazing shape going on) I decided to give The BrowShoppe a go.. After reading reviews, I decided to have my brows done with Natalia.. BIG MISTAKE.!! (I hate my brows).. She made one longer and thicker and the other shorter and thinner.. It's like I have two completely different personalities going on in my face.. Not to mention that I've never had to draw or fill in my eyebrows and now I need to.. Seriously ladies, please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I thought that because I was paying $35 for just brows I would get my money's worth.. Apparently this is not case.. My eyebrows look great but don't think I'll be back....can't handle all the plucking...I prefer threading and/or waxing. Also, $40 for eyebrows is a bit steep. While my eyebrows look good...they are not $40 good....I've had just as good if not better for a fraction of the price. So, I'm giving The Brow Shoppe 4 stars because my eyebrows look great - not giving them 5 because of the $40. If you want to give someone $40 - then go for it. I have been seeing Natalia for many many years, (15 maybe). Nobody does the magic that she does. It is like getting a botox eye lift. She does perfect shape. I don't have even eyebrow and she is able to do a way that nobody notice the difference. I love her!!! read more

I have been going to Tania for maybe six years, and I will NEVER EVER trust anyone (besides Laura, the owner of the shoppe) with my precious brows! From a young age, my mom always told me not to let anyone wax, tweeze, or trim my eyebrows because it can ruin your face (temporarily anyway). I took her advice and the day she found the Brow Shoppe was the day I found a consistent, trust-worthy professional that is more of an artist than a hair-remover. Think of it as a haircut. Would you let just anyone cut your hair? I know I wouldn't. They make an art out of it, and along with Tania's threading, walking out of the Brow Shoppe always makes me get that pampered feeling you get when you leave a manicure/pedicure. Moved back to Miami in search of a good brow place. I found this place from a Google search. Don't get me wrong. They have a well kept establishment. The staff was very friendly. Laura who owned the place did my brows and charged the the most for a 15min slot which lasted last time than that. My brows had no arch and dimension. The worst way I think I had my brows arched. I've been to Laura DiNiro Twice..the first time she did my brows...I wasnt overly impressed but I wasnt horrified either. Since my usual eyebrow woman was still on maternity leave, I tried Laura again...after waiting about 30 minutes for my appointed (Laura was running late), I finally got into her chair. She had a very unfriendly patronizing attitude and made my brows thin, she basically did not do what I had asked, which was to leave them full but neat. I walked out with uneven overly plucked brows. Not really worth the effort. Even though there's an online booking system, there's always a huge wait because of drop ins. I've NEVER been in and out to have my brows done. It usually takes an hour, ridiculous of course. It takes another 15- 20 minutes to pay too, understanding that each person working there has to ring up her own customers- no receptionists, this is a total waste of time. Time that I pay for twice- also paying a meter to park on the street. Don't even try to get in touch with theis business by phone... Laura herself is a pill to deal with. She's more arrogant than talented and talks about herself incessantly. She does a nice job at first then it goes straight to hell & you leave looking like a mess- a $40 mess! There are other technicians but they run over an hour late too. No more!! read more

The price is steep but your brows can make or break your face so to me completely worth it. 4 stars versus 5 given that it's street parking only and the hours aren't very friendly for working professionals. The first time I went to the Brow Shoppe I was happy with their work. I was willing to drive from Homestead, however, last two times I've gone they've gotten very sloppy with their work. I still needed to pluck stragglers when I got in my car. So sad that the good reputation they had has gone to their heads and is now showing in they're work or lack thereof. Most annoyingly is the pompous attitude, which I would be willing to deal with if the work was still top notch. Two thumbs down. read more

I went to laura had the worst experience possible. She literally I mean LITERALLY made my one eyebrow significantly higher, more arched than the other eyebrow which was more linear! I have TWO witnesses at the salon that saw this were aghast. I can tell her loyalties are to her regulars and not new customers. Her behavior was completely unremorseful and standoffish. I created a Yelp account just so that I could clear the air about this place. The Brow Shoppe is the best place for brows thus far. I live in Manhattan, I have paid upwards of 100 bucks to get my brows done at all of the 'best' salons and Laura does them the best. She isn't the warmest person, but who cares, shes doing a service and she does it well and she knows she does it well so shes not there to kiss anyones ass. I try to make it a point to visit when I go back home to Miami and suggest you all go to her. She is simply the best in Miami. read more

I first used Tania to do my eyebrows, her work started out OK (I have very heavy eyebrows), but with time her work got worst to a point that I had enough with her work and bad attitude. I do not know what she was doing to my eyebrows but my eyes started to look older and droopier (I am sure she was bringing my eyebrow arch down, instead of up). In addition, every time she did my eyebrows my skin around my eyebrows got RED HOT and I would break out around that area for days, (I do not think she sanitizes her tweezers after her clients and/or her working material are old). Moreover, she placed her hand all over my face while she was doing her work and a couple of time she smelled like gross self tanner. As for her personality, she is actually rude and has a bad attitude all the time (every time I went to her.) she never greeted me when I would come into the brow Shoppe or even asked me anything (she just stayed mute the whole time), but would speak freely to her friends that would come in. Next, I tried Laura because all the articles ect... Her work and attitude is a lot better than Tania at least she was improving my eyebrows a lot ...the two times I used her. However, she is far from professional. The last time I used her she was running late (35 min or so) because she was talking and playing with her IPAD not because she was busy working. read more

There's a lot of buzz about Laura DeNiro, the "brow queen". I have been to her twice because I have thick eyebrows. The first time she did an excellent job that got me compliments. However, the customer service is practically non-existent. I think Laura likes her regulars, but newbies, nah. She didn't say hello to me, no smile, just started on my brows -- I felt like I was just another set of eyebrows. She hardly spoke to me at all (though she spoke to plenty of other people in the shoppe) until I complimented her on the music. However, from the few comments she made -- and her work -- its clear she knows her stuff. Today I went in and talked to her more, but guess what -- my brows came out just ok, thicker than I liked. I was in a hurry and she kept pausing to talk to people. Its just too much ego to deal with. I don't think I will be back -- except perhaps to the folks she has trained. read more
