Have been coming for a couple of years now, but recently there has been lots of staff changes and service has taken a serious hit. Not only is Invictus one of the most expensive in the area but they are one of the most automated. Which it could be a good or a really bad thing in the service industry. You cannot talk to anyone on the phone, they want you to text or email, really? Not very friendly. They want you to always to pay upfront, with a very strict cancellation or lateness (which is what they call it) no refund policy, again not very friendly, how about if I didn't like the cut? Not that I wouldn't pay for it, but where interaction and the extra tip part of this service? Lately every time I come is either super empty or the barbers are just playing pool. Yes, is my first time being 12mins late to my appointment, but for the front desk lady to tell me that there is no one available? While there are 8 empty chairs? And no barbers? I don't mind waiting, this is not my first cut at a barbershop, but that option was not available neither. Then she proceeded to do me a favor and process a refund? Really a favor??? Don't need favors, just need a simple service as a haircut, but now I get why this place is always empty now. Thank you for scarring away another customer. Ended up going down the street and got an amazing haircut from other talented barbers for 20% less than what they charge here. Btw the app to book is always giving errors

Then I went back two weeks ago looking for Marim but he wasn't in yet. I believe his name was Mateus who was there and said he would cut my hair but instead of the $35 that Marim charge me , Mateus stated he was gonna charge me $45. I'm writing this review because Mateus have me one of the worst haircuts I've had in years and because of this I will not be going back, but I do recommend if you wanna go have Mariam cut your hair.

I had Alex and I wasn't really watching what he was doing because we were having great conversation. I was very pleased with the results! I feel great about my hair. I've had great cuts before at JP and this is more awesome at half the cost! Here is the kicker. My partner Matt never says anything about his hair. It's utility to him and he doesn't care. He had Tim and for the first time ever he was smiling and excited about his haircut! We went back to the shop and tipped the each an extra $20 because wtf it's still less than JP. We'll definitely be going back!
