    margherita pizza

Solid, no-frills Italian spot. Happened in on this place one Saturday night when all nearby restauraunts were quoting us an hour-plus wait without reservations. The Brothers was able to seat us immediately. While the large dining room is quite sparse and not the place for a fancy night out, the service was great and the food flavorful. I'd highly recommend their bar pies - you can't go wrong the classic margherita loaded with fresh mozzarella and basil - or their fantastic meatballs.

Food is just okay. They were a little skimpy on the toppings for the pizza. Ambiance is very casual, but the service was phenomenal.

We loved this place! It came highly recommended from friends who live in Colorado too so we made it a priority to visit while we were on vacation. We went for a late lunch and were the only people dining, but it seemed like there were quite a few regulars hanging out at the bar enjoying each other. We were treated really well by Karen (I believe that's her name). We had the pepperoni garlic rolls for an appetizer- they were absolutely delicious! Then we had the Grandma's pizza which is a special square homemade thin crust pizza with fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce and basil, and then we added sausage to half. WHOA this was so good! It made us really happy. It's a large pizza (only comes in one size) but we didn't want to waste any of it so we took it back to our hotel and had it for leftovers the next day, it was that yummy. This is a big restaurant with lots of seating and good prices and a great menu. We would definitely be regulars if we lived here. You must go!!!

TERRIBLE SERVICE FROM BAR SERVER/manager/hostess Well...where do I start visiting from out of town but grew up here...came in today with my 83 yr old mother and her small "service" dog in a dog stroller...greeted by bar server asking for ID for animal...my mother flustered could not find right away in wallet fast enough for bar server/managers demands (but found it in car)AFTER BEING SCREAMED AT TO LEAVE AND TOLD SHE WOULD CALL POLICE IF WE DIDNT PUT AWAY CARDS AND LEAVE!!! Again my mother just couldn't find card fast enough for her...and she WOULD NOT TAKE PICTURE I HAD OF ID ON MY PHONE....she became HYSTERICAL LOUD AND RUDE...I will NEVER return By the way...I only visited because we were meeting a retired MARINE for lunch!

Who says you can't go home again? The Brothers serves great pizza, tasty burgers, Italian favorites, fresh pitchers of beer and prodigious drinks. Most of all it serves comfort. The dining room emanates with the sounds of happy families and pure friendship. It is one of those rare spots that is timeless, and that is priceless. Come for the delicious crispy and gooey pizza, leave with a happy heart .

Probably a 3, but portions are large, service is quick, quality decent. Standard fare at this type of glorified pizzeria. Friendly staff.

Ambiance was casual with families, couples, etc. There is a good amount of seating inside but reservations are highly recommended. 1. Wine list - Huge huge Italian wine list with smaller names and unfamiliar names. Did my research and got a bottle of rosso montalcino ($69) which was excellent to pair 2. Meatballs - tender, doesn't fully fall apart but light and almost melts in your mouth. Sauce is light but full of flavor 3. Eggplant parm - not spicy even though supposed to be spicy rigatoni with it. Huge portion. Took half home. Pasta was delicious with enough sauce and al denté as I like 4. Tiramisu - one of the better ones I've had. Not alcoholic. Moist and excellent balance of layers. Shaved chocolate on top is a nice touch 5. Chocolate torte - deliciously creamy and lighter than I thought. Full chocolate flavor. Comes with a fior di latte gelato which was high quality. Overall an excellent high quality Italian dinner. No wonder why it's hard to get weekend reservations. Highly recommended and will definitely be back when in Red Bank and craving Italian.

My husband got the meatballs for his appetizer and I got the Caprese salad. He loved the appetizer and I loved mine. You cannot go wrong with Caprese salad in my opinion. For our entrees, he got the 'Bistecca alla Pizzaiola" which was a steak with tomato, garlic and red wine with potatoes. It was really good. The steak was very tender. I got the 'Ravioli Limoncello' which was Ravioli in a Lemon cream sauce. I am not a huge lemon fan but this was great. We ended with the 'Carrot Cake' and the 'Toasted Almond' cake - both were delicious as well. Everything was great. The service was quick, attentive and very friendly. It was a very nice high-end charcuterie platter. 5/5 Stars. - Fried Calamari - They lightly floured and fried it. I personally preferred a little spicier. 4/5 Stars. - Orrechiette pasta served with fresh tomatoes, garlic, and sausage, broccoli rabe, and basil in garlic & oil. They overcooked the sausage, but regardless, it truly was exceptional. 5/5 Stars - Shrimp scampi - It was overcooked. 3.5/5 Stars. - Boneless Roasted Chicken Cacciatore - the chicken was so tender and juicy. 5/5 Stars. - Pork Loin Giambotta - They grilled it to perfection, and it was still juicy.
