Just an hour away from the city, with plenty of parking, Cider Hill Farm was a great time! They have lots of small bites and also a food truck for proper food. They have a farm store and a cider bar. Their cider flights were very creative, you can try 4 for $26. We got half a dozen of apple cider donuts for $6 and hot cider for $3! Amazing prices compared to the farms closer to the city. The lines at the farm shop were very very long, so plan ahead. They have plenty of porta-potties but in the afternoon they had run out of soap. Something that they can keep an eye on for their busy season. They have some farm animals, lots of chickens. They also had pumpkins and other picking items, which we didn't indulge in. We ended up getting burgers from the food truck $19 with the fries. Overall I'm very impressed at how much space and how fast the service is as well as how adult and kid friendly they are. I have stayed at hotels that claim to be handicap rooms because they have a grab bar in the bathroom and a walk-in shower. The room was spacious and had a very large shower stall that was plenty big for a wheelchair. There were grab bars galore and even a red phone next to the toilet. The room is only carpeted around the bed. The rest of the room had wood laminate flooring and a huge comfy desk chair that I used to scoot around the room. There was a complimentary breakfast that had everything you could think of, including eggs, bacon and homefries. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The only negative was that the water in the "heated" pool was only lukewarm. The pool was large and very clean like the rest of the hotel. This was my first stay at a Holiday Inn Express, but probably won't be my last.

Off we went on the Cotton Valley Rail Trail for a three hour tour headed to Wolfeboro. Lots of stops and starts along the way as she became more familiar with the bike. I'd recommend a longer ride so you'd have more time in Wolfeboro for lunch, ice cream or exploring the shops. The trail is well maintained and an easy ride. The Aventon bikes were in excellent condition and we had the chance to try a couple of different models. Overall an excellent experience and I highly recommend E-bike Expeditions and look forward to renting from them again.
