It's the closest thing I've seen to a bodega in STL in terms of looks. Other than that, it's virtually empty of anything you need or want unless Walgreens is out of Barefoot Wine or you need a place to get a contact high. read more

What a reliable little shop! It's like a gas station but a (way) nicer version, with friendly owners and everything you'd ever need. This place is so great to have in the neighborhood and I'm glad I finally went in after driving by it for months. Here's what I'll be using this place for: -Wine. They have a cool little selection, and let's face it, I drink a lot of it. Swinging by here and grabbing a bottle is way easier than getting it from anywhere else, and the quality looked just fine. -There's a tiny coffee bar in the back that serves Kaldi's! Not just that, but they'll make you lattes, Americanos, or whatever you're in the mood for. Again, I can see this being so convenient when I'm running late because I can swing by here and hop right on highway 40 (and there are no lines.) -There's a full medicine selection, along with toiletry items. -Snacks galore! And not just regular old snacks, they have the bread/milk chocolate creations from Companion! Seriously? -The cooler is full of water, Gatorade, beer, Starbucks refreshers, whatever you'd like. I'm so glad I know this place exists. I will be a frequent customer and will be taking advantage of that coffee bar. If you're in the area and need any of the above, make sure to stop by. read more

A totally new store: New owners! New inventory! New floors?! I feel so lucky to live next door to this polished up store! Not only did they give the old dingy, smokey store a swift kick in the rear but they added in some totally non traditional features for a convenience store...like a full Kaldi's coffee bar. I have yet to try the coffee but I have popped in for a few things here and there. Service is amazing. In my opinion this is our new neighborhood gem. Keep up the good work! read more

I was visiting my grandma at St. Mary's last night, and I was famished, so I immediately began thinking of nearby places to grab something quick and cheap for a snack. Fully intended to hit My Daddy's Cheesecake over on Clayton Rd, but neon lights caught my eye in the other direction. Rolled by slowly enough to see what they had, and what they've got featured is an all-time favorite of mine: Honeybaked Ham Sandwiches for $5! Curiosity piqued, so I parked, hopped out, and looked around. Companion bread, Kaldi's coffee sign & coffee bar, a nice assortment of convenience store staples (snack food, beer, soft drinks), and a welcoming vibe. Dig them so far....still looking for my sandwich though. One of the counter men told me that they were in the reach in, then gave me the run down....turkey, chicken, ham...all labeled on top. Sandwich was good as expected, added a 20 oz Sunkist & large bag of Red Hot Riplets, total damage of $8? No argument here. The place is laid out well, the staff are friendly, and they have the largest selection of vodka that I've ever seen in a neighborhood stop & shop....multiple flavors of Three Olives, Svedka, Purus...you name it, they've got it. Definitely worth a return trip next time I'm close! read more

I have used this market for beer and mixers. Its just a short walk from where I live. They have a decent beer selection. Its not going to compare to the massive one at Schnucks up the street but it serves its purpose. Workers are all friendly. Its nice seeing people play washers out front. This place is way better than what it replaced. Way cleaner and better stocked. I am glad its right near by and open late. read more

This was my first time in. I was amazed at the eclectic décor. Love Mr. T behind the check out. Very unique wine selection. I did not know Snoop Dog had his own wine label. Quite a few products from the Lou including Dog Town frozen Pizza. Gary was very pleasant and gave me a little tour of the store. I will be back. read more

This is the best marketplace in town no doubt. My buddies and I come here all the time to have a beer, grab some chips, and talk about our days. I'm done with this place. I went in to buy milk since it was close and convenient. The regular workers were there whose names I don't know, but that doesn't matter since I'm never going there again. The location of some of their products were moved in the coolers so I didn't know where they moved things around. I asked where what I wanted was and he said I was looking in the wrong place. Since they moved things around, how was I supposed to know where it was since I couldn't find it, I asked, and the regular worker acted like I was a stupid, moron for not knowing were they put the milk in the new location. I got it; I paid for it; and I left. What I paid was way too much for what it was. And I will never return again. read more

I wanted to say how much I love this place since they remodeled!! I went there growing up for over 10 years, and the place was nasty, yellow smoke-stained pit. Not only did the place get an awesome face lift, the staff is friendly and helpful. Sure, the prices are up a little, as with any 'convenience' type store. But I would definitely recommend to anyone nearby. read more

Today, this morning actually was my first time in there and i was impressed. A quaint little convience store with coffee, food, smokes ( for anyone who wants a cancer stick), and drinks. The woman who took care of me was extremely nice and the price for my coffee was not only affordable; but also my favorite kind! (kaldi's). DEFINETLY going back there again when i am in need of food or coffee :) And have i mentioned free bagle friday if you go there on a Friday morning? This place is a crock. They couldn't be bothered to order fresh ice bags, so I ended up with a bag from the bottom of the cooler. When I noticed it was a SOLID BLOCK of cubes that had melted and frozen several times I dropped it on the floor to break it up, only to have the genius behind the counter kick me out of the store to "protect his floor". Yeah.. sure I'll leave your store to fix the bullsh*t you just sold me.. sure thing moron! read more

I go here often, as I live nearby. There is a decent selection of beer and liquor. The workers are always extremely friendly and it has a neighborhood feel. Make sure to go on Saturdays and check out the tacos. I came across them by accident and they are excellent. read more
