Came here for my last day in town. And I was not disappointed. Best pork belly with rice breakfast ever! They did not skimp out on the meat. Cute little brunch place. Service was great and attentive. Would recommend

Súper good food Great staffs but seem like there's always a wait So make sure you call and make a reservation and they will put you on the waitlist the chicken and waffles are super good and the orange just make your reservation first

I don't know how I feel about this place as I was hoping to come out of it completely head over heels. We came on a weekday morning and it was packed with people constantly coming and going. We did not sign up for the waitlist and were still seated promptly. The customer service was amazing. All of the staff were great, quick, and efficient. The food for me was just OK. I had such high hopes as it looked delicious and the presentation of everything was lovely. I ordered the cappucino, which I enjoyed. We also had the bacon benny and chicken and waffles. I requested my eggs poached medium/hard as I don't care for runny eggs and find it makes everything soggy. The waitress said they can do it but I received them soft anyways. I didn't care for the flavour of the benny I ordered. It had a sweet/candied taste (not sure if it was the waffles or bacon). The duck hash wasn't that great and sounded more amazing than what it tasted like. I found them pretty bland and not crispy. The chicken and waffles were good! I'd come back once more but I wouldn't bother ordering a benny.

One of the best eggs Benedict I've ever had! The Food: That Florentino Benny with the waffle base and balsamic reduction was amazing! I also quite enjoyed the tomato soup with basil extract that came with the Upstream Benny (and so did my baby). The hash browns were super flavourful and very crispy which was fabulous! My toddler ordered the Chicken strips and Hash, he wasn't a fan of the hash browns but he did enjoy the breading on the chicken a lot! Also ordered was the Apple Pie French Toast, I didn't have a taste, but the plate was essentially licked clean so I would presume it was well liked. And the Egg Frittata that was served in a super cute little cast iron pan. What could have been better: We came in with hungry kids so the only thing that could have been better was if the staff would have let us order right away. They took our drink order but then left us for quite some time so we had to wave them over and ask for our server to come take our food order. Hungry kids are impatient buggers but the food was quick to come out once we did place it! Bathrooms and Parking and Baby accommodations: Bathrooms are super clean and lovely, and there was a baby change table which is always super appreciated! And the high chairs available were a clip-onto the table style which was a super great space saver! Very smart! Plenty of parking right out front when we went during the week.

I was really excited to hear that another brunch place opened up on the south side. I called early on a Saturday morning and was added to their online wait list. My expected time of arrival was suppose to be 10:30am but I ended up waiting half an hour more when I arrived at the restaurant. The restaurant was very busy. For food we tried: -Brio's Breakfast: This came with rice and pork belly which is something you don't normally see at other brunch places. It was delicious but I found the pork belly a bit too salty -Chicken and Waffles: Pretty normal chicken and waffles dish. It tasted good but nothing too special Overall food was decent and filling. I'm curious to try more dishes in the future. Hopefully next time the wait list time will be more accurate.

First time coming here and wow was it worth the wait!! I've heard a lot of raving reviews about this place and just had to try it for myself. Being around Filipino food for the last 16 years (since meeting my husband), I've always loved the flavours and unique cuisine, so naturally I was excited to try their spin on Filipino breakfast / brunch. We ordered the mini waffles as an appetizer with maple syrup and Nutella sauce, that were so cute and had a nice crunch, not too much. The waffles were fluffy and light, not too flavoured so you can really have the toppings shine through. Really a nice appetizer and good way to bring some sweetness into your brunch without compromising a great savoury main dish. For the kids, we ordered the Mac and cheese and chicken fingers with hash. The Mac and cheese was a huge with with our Mac and cheese connoisseur child. Lots of butter and cheese in this dish with a beautiful cheese pull effect. She had enough for two servings and we took 1/2 home for her next meal. The chicken fingers were real chicken with a homemade batter. The batter was a tad bit spicy but luckily my daughter likes a tiny bit of spice in her food and she was happy to eat them. For us, we had the Bro Bowl and the Salmon Eggs Benny with a side on Longanisa (Filipino sausage). The eggs Benedict dish was delicious, served on their homemade waffle with spinach and hollandaise sauce. Very satisfying and eggs cooked to perfection. But our favourite dish was definitely the bro bowl. The adobo, rice and egg mix was absolutely divine!! If you have tried Filipino food and liked it, I would encourage you to try this place out! It's a gourmet twist on a traditional food. The homemade longanisa was also absolutely delicious!! The coffee is also very tasty and delicious!! And the orange juice tasted freshly squeezed. This place uses local ingredients and gives back to the community through meal share program. They are an excellent addition to the Edmonton food scene and I would definitely return to try more of their Filipino inspired dishes. They also have a cool wait list feature. You call them up, ask how long the wait is, and put your name on the list. Once your table is about 15 mins away from being ready, they send you a text and you reply yes or no to say whether you're still wanting the table. Head on down to the restaurant and bam you're in! Very smooth process. Prices are affordable here as well and worth the price in my opinion for this type of dish as I would not be able to recreate this at home. And the service is outstanding! Even though the restaurant was super busy and fully packed, we were never missing our server and even had our coffee refilled as well. Highly recommend!

Amazing food like always. Had Florentine Bennie's and Nutella Hot Chocolate and both were amazing... Will for sure visit again.

Found this cute little place in south common with scrumptious brunch options. Loved everything about the place from friendly staff to delicious food. Open kitchen, cute wall art and big windows make this place more inviting. Order: Bro's Breakfast: Tried this kind of dish for the first time. It looked like Hawaiian breakfast what i read online. Flavourful sausages served with Jasmine rice, tomato salsa and sunny side up eggs was a complete hit. Seoul-Wich: Our sever recommended this if you are not looking for so healthy option. As the name sounds, it was a Korean style fried chicken with lots of toppings served on a brioche bun. Rating: Taste - 4.5/5 (loved both the dishes) Serving Size - 4.5/5 Service - 5/5 (Staff was welcoming and friendly) Ambience - 4/5 Price - 4.5/5 I think i am going to visit this place very soon again.

An amazing local breakfast and brunch spot in south Edmonton common! I can came in with a group of girlfriends and everyone was raving about the food they had! The chai latte was also delicious! Just be aware that on weekends it is packed!! They do a neat way of waiting for a spot. Instead of having to wait in the restaurant, you can call and ask them to get on their waiting list (the wait list is only used when they are full, so definitely on weekends!) They will give you a rough estimate of how long the wait is and put your name on the list. This way your free to shop around, or wait at home. They will then text you with a 15 minute window once a table is ready. We had a great time and received wonderful food and service!

Gluten free avocado toast
Chantal A.

Gluten free waffles & toast! And many other gluten free options. It was really nice to have so many choices at a brunch restaurant! Especially without compromising on the fresh ingredients and great taste that the gluten containing meals are known to have. Several gf+veg options also. I had the avocado toast which was delicious! Though, I will say that the gf bread sub left something to be desired in terms of portion size. Another drawback is that the gluten free hash browns are fried in duck fat so sadly not vegetarian. Overall though, great food. I'll be going back to try the waffles!

Brunch is offered on Saturday and Sunday, otherwise they open for lunch (closed Mondays). Epic Market is huge. This will be a very popular place for the Whyte Avenue crowd as there are so many options available depending on which floor you enter. We were on the second floor today for brunch but the first floor, which has a similar look and feel, has a Mexican menu. It opens for lunch at 11:30am. It's a unique concept for Edmonton. The server said that they've opened similar restaurants in larger cities like Toronto but Edmonton is their first venture into a "smaller market". The brunch menu was interesting with some unique features and some typical offerings. I had the Pork Bennie, for $18.00 in 2024. The prices are quite reasonable for the type and quantity of the food. My bennie was good. My only criticism is that a special house ketchup would have been a nice touch. The service was excellent and we had a nice view of Gateway Blvd out the window. The coffee includes endless refills which is good because the cups were not very large. I'm sure the vibe is much different for dinner than brunch, but based on our experience, I'll definitely return.

My wife and I both ordered the Chandru Special for $17.50. It's a crepe with bacon and eggs inside plus some cheese slices melted on top. There was a side of fresh fruit. The presentation was somewhat lacking as the cheese slices made it look like something you find at your children's birthday party. The dish definitely needed some sauce to help it down. At least the fruit was good. Our server was very skilled at tunnel vision as she didn't see us even when walking right by our table. Eventually we caught her and got a refill for our coffee. She was pleasent enough when she arrived but definitely didn't want to do refills. On a more positive note, my friend ordered an omelet which came with potatoes that looked like thick potato chips. They looked good and he liked them. If I return it will be because I am in the area and can't find a better place. In other words, three stars out of five.

We would go back in a heartbeat, just need to sleep off the food coma for a while. It's bright and airy in spite of the smallish space and the amount of booths and tables, oh and you can sit at the counter. The walls and ceiling are covered in memorabilia, concert banners and what not. The place was absolutely hopping at 12:45 PM, but we were sat in a booth right away. Waters dropped moments later, asked if we needed coffee, tea or whatever else you wanted to drink. Our server was fantastic, explaining and educating us as we were first timers. The food came out piping hot very quickly and our tea ordered after the food was dropped came in a large teapot and hot just like at home. The clubhouse, which I did not have, has house made ham and turkey according to our server. My corn beef had slices of corn beef that did not taste house made, but the sheer volume of meat I couldn't finish, the eggs were cooked perfectly. K's Mexicasa omelette was excellent with the Mexican meat the star. I know why the place is consistently full, it's that good. Definite redo when back in West Edmonton
