TL;DR: this place is such a hidden gem! Amazing prices and really tasty drinks and food. I absolutely adore what they do here! I would definitely say that it is hard to come-by as it is located on a strip mall off Parsons Rd SW which makes it super low-key. During my first visit, I was pleasently surprised by their large selection of flavours. It is definitely a contrast from the small location size. The prices alone speak for themselves; I found them to be super cheap and fair especially when compared to other bubble tea stores. In terms of flavour, their bubble tea are super good and made with care! I have ordered the Mango and Avocado Real Fruit Bubble Tea with Milk and they are both amazing. The prices, again, are super unbeatable and cheap! Personally, I felt that their Tapioca was perfect: it was soft but had a little bit of chewiness. I also felt that the portioning of their tea and tapioca is great and definitely satisfying. The food, on the other hand, is a treat. I love their selection of hot dogs, noodles, and snacks. I have tried the Kare Kare Noodle Soup and it was pretty good as a small meal. Their hot dogs are also pretty delicious! I love the teriyaki sauce that was included in the one I ordered. I think it definitely pairs well with the bubble tea and not to mention their food is very cheap as well. The thing which I always appreciate about coming here is that I always leave satisfied in terms of the overall experience. I absolutely adore their service and friendliness. The lady on the counter was extremely nice and always lent a welcoming smile. The prices are super cheap as well and doesn't break the bank. This definitely encourages frequent visits and I would choose this place before even considering other bubble tea shops like CoCo. Having recently moved from San Diego to Edmonton, I'm sure there are many surprises in store for me, but one I've already found is that the good folks of Edmonton have not yet discovered the deliciousness that is an avocado smoothie! I know, it sounds weird, and I only tried it the first time because it sounded like such a ridiculously California thing that I felt obliged to. Imagine my surprise to discover it is this amazing, creamy, ice-cream-like concoction that doesn't even really taste like avocado. It's been a favourite ever since, so the other day I went on a search to find one in Edmonton. I've found only two places so far and Teacup2Go is one of them! (The other is in the West Edmonton Mall but I haven't tried it yet.) Teacup2Go is hidden in a tiny mall not far off Ellerslie, the outside is so nondescript that I drove past it twice before noticing it even though I was looking. Inside however the decor is bright, cheerful, and eye catching in the best ways. Fun fruit shaped cushions, warm primary colours, everything about it looks friendly and happy. The menu is HUGE, you could try something new every day for months. They have some limited foods also (mainly hot dogs or dumplings) but the drinks are why you're here. Right? Right! And avocado smoothie is on the menu, with or without boba (I prefer without). Now, I won't lie, it wasn't the best avocado smoothie I've ever had in my life, you probably do really have to go to California for that. My suspicion is that their avocados weren't quite perfectly ripe -- and it must be quite a challenge for them to obtain the perfect avocados at the perfect point of ripeness up here in Edmonton too. But it was still a pretty good avocado smoothie, definitely acceptable, and the only one I've had in California so far, and if they can manage to do that good a job then I bet their other drinks are well worth trying too. Where to go after you've either eating at Wing Chicx or are in the area shopping at South Edmonton Commons? Why, the answer is simple dear Watson, head over to TeaCup2Go and try their bubble tea/snacks. They have some light Asian snacks - their version of Japadog looks intriguing. I'll have to try it the next time I'm not stuffed to the brim with KFC. The lady/owner working the front is very sweet, your typical Asian mother figure. The menu is pretty small but focuses on a few key items (snacks, noodle bowls, hot dogs and bubble tea). Just take a look at their whiteboard, which have numerous choices to choose from. - Avocado mango with mango pieces and mango with lychee pieces ($4.55 each) - this is one of the cheaper places in town to order fresh fruit bubble tea. It's annoying that they charge you an extra $1.00 to blend in two fruits but it's the norm. Avocado and mango is my go to drink, seriously, so dang good. They don't skimp on the pieces and fill yer cup right to the top. My friend ordered herself the mango, which was much sweeter than mine but tasty. - JaJa noodle soup ($7.50) - udon noodles, fish tofu, fish cake, egg, fried tofu, green onion and seaweed. I don't think these were udon noodles. Most likely they were the egg noodles. Fried egg on top gave it some protein. I liked the fish tofu the best. Pretty simple bowl, nothing extraordinary, but it was filling. - Lychee with grass jelly ($4.55) - I was skeptical on whether they would be using fresh lychee but the drink was quite watery and tasted just like the real thing, so I think they do. Props. I will be back to try their other BBT flavours and Japadog next time. The bubble tea scene is pretty weak in Edmonton but I am a growing fan of TeaCup2Go. I love my bubble tea, and not the powdered drinks that you have one sip of and you smell burnt toast and then wonder if your about to stroke out. This shop was clean, bright and very welcoming. The staff and owner are happy to greet you as you walk in and also assist you if you need help with the choice of flavours. I have gone twice and have had a real fruit avocado mango with lychee pieces and I have also had the piña colada real fruit with added mango and lychee pieces. They were fast, the drinks were fresh as I watched them make each one. If you want a fresh drink or to just chill, relax and have a bubble tea....this is the place for you. Enjoy! read more

As for mid 2017, Teacup2go is the only BBT store south of Anthony Henday on 91st NW. This mom and daughter shop is located in the office area; opens from noon on most days till 9pm. The selection of BBT flavors is massive and the price is reasonable. Their specialty is selected Hong Kong styled food and flavors that includes HK style coffee/milk, Honey Apple, as well as snacks. Come here if you want reasonably priced BBT with jelly, and a light snack. Their take on hot dogs are decent. Unfortunately, teacup2go has the worst tapioca pearls in all of Edmonton. The softest non-chewy pearls.. best to get their jelly or just their drinks without pearls. The pearls are half the experience of BBT if not more, the proper tapioca texture/consistency adds a different dimension to cold drinks - it avoids you having a brain freeze by having to chew on something. Second their tapiocas are not sweet.. if I had to say, these pearls are probably even less appealing than those from Dream Tea. In summary, come here for the food and snacks mid day if you live south of the city. I consider Teacup2go as a food/snack venue with options of slushes and drinks. For real BBT, I would suggest going into the city. read more

This place is so delicious and hidden in Ellerslie! I was brought here by a friend a few weeks ago and it's honestly a hole in the wall. I had no idea it was even here (or any of the other businesses for that matter). But the bubble tea here was really good. I had the Taro with tapioca pearls and my girlfriend had Strawberry with lychee bits. Both were really great. The lady working at the front was really pleasant and had a huge smile on her face. It was nice to be smiled at so much! What a delightfully happy lady. :) I would definitely recommend this place to people. It's small and kind of unknown. But I think more people should know about it which is why I'm writing this review. 10/10 would return. read more

Prices are definitely cheaper compared to other places. I tried their Taiwan milk tea and it was okay. Pearls are much too soft - they should be slightly chewy. I would have enjoyed it better had they shaken to make the drink cold (vs luke warm with ice cubes floating on top) and if it were 50% less sweet. That being said, I would rather pay a buck more and get a coco's milk tea. The flavour is just not comparable. This is one of my favorite places to pop by for bubble tea. The menu is relatively extensive and covers most options that people like. I will admit that I don't deviate from the red bean and coconut because I like it that much. I also like that Tea Cup 2 Go gives the option to adjust the amount of sugar added in your drink (none, 1/2, 1). I've had bubble tea at quite a few places in Edmonton and this is my favourite. The prices are a little lower than most of the others. I never knew I liked taro bubble tea so much until I had a taste of my husband's real fruit one. Usually after going to a place a few times you're bound to get a few hard pearls, but I haven't experienced this here once. The pearls are always soft but firm with the right amount of sweetness. The owner is very friendly and she checks to make sure you've got a stamp card. It's nice to see that someone actually cares to have your business! Usually if you want good bubble tea when you're in the southside you need to go to the Whyte Ave area - but what do you do if you're in far far south? Why TeaCup2Go! Large selection of various drinks hot and cold; along with gourmet hot dogs and other light snacks - This is definitely a go to hangout. They're sadly a bit hidden from view from anyone driving down parsons road but definitely worth the detour if you're craving bubble tea (or even a light snack). Only con: They're closed sundays and should be open later (at least till midnight) on Friday/Saturday nights - With some better advertising they could be a lot more busy. read more

I had gone to this place on a recommendation from someone and was SO happy that we went. I realized that I'd driven past it about a hundred times without even realizing it and it was incredible. I've had a few Matcha bubble teas in my day and this one was by far the best I've ever had. Great service, adorable little location, super nice women running it, great portions and a great price.
