Avocado mango with mango pieces ($5.55)
    Jonny M.

Where to go after you've either eating at Wing Chicx or are in the area shopping at South Edmonton Commons? Why, the answer is simple dear Watson, head over to TeaCup2Go and try their bubble tea/snacks. They have some light Asian snacks - their version of Japadog looks intriguing. I'll have to try it the next time I'm not stuffed to the brim with KFC. The lady/owner working the front is very sweet, your typical Asian mother figure. The menu is pretty small but focuses on a few key items (snacks, noodle bowls, hot dogs and bubble tea). Just take a look at their whiteboard, which have numerous choices to choose from. - Avocado mango with mango pieces and mango with lychee pieces ($4.55 each) - this is one of the cheaper places in town to order fresh fruit bubble tea. It's annoying that they charge you an extra $1.00 to blend in two fruits but it's the norm. Avocado and mango is my go to drink, seriously, so dang good. They don't skimp on the pieces and fill yer cup right to the top. My friend ordered herself the mango, which was much sweeter than mine but tasty. - JaJa noodle soup ($7.50) - udon noodles, fish tofu, fish cake, egg, fried tofu, green onion and seaweed. I don't think these were udon noodles. Most likely they were the egg noodles. Fried egg on top gave it some protein. I liked the fish tofu the best. Pretty simple bowl, nothing extraordinary, but it was filling. - Lychee with grass jelly ($4.55) - I was skeptical on whether they would be using fresh lychee but the drink was quite watery and tasted just like the real thing, so I think they do. Props. I will be back to try their other BBT flavours and Japadog next time. The bubble tea scene is pretty weak in Edmonton but I am a growing fan of TeaCup2Go. Unassuming, if you're in the area, give them a try.

Cute little cafe & even with limited windows has the impression that it's bright & clean. Friendly service but I got the impression from the empty display & everyone looking like they were finishing up that things were closing (even though the hours online state much later). Thus I didn't ask about their unique options beyond what was available for cold & hot drinks nor did I sit down. Selected a hot white chocolate and my tongue has confirmed it needs more than the walk to the vehicle to cool off kind of hot. Perfect for the drive back home.

I think it would be nicer if they collaborated more and maybe even had some the art displayed here. But the K-pop tribute is interesting too. I was also looking at their menu and came for the croffle but they were out. Apparently it's very popular so they didn't have any. Sad face. I was encouraged to try the Hotteok (brown sugar pancake - Korean) which the aroma was amazing and it was so sweet and crunchy with the walnuts inside. I also had the sweet iced pumpkin latte, but it didn't have as much pumpkin flavor as I had hoped. I also couldn't see the bathroom or signs for it.

We got a couple of things: an Almond Croissant, Bulgogi Poutine, a Lavender London Fog with oat milk, and a Peppermint Mocha with oat milk. My Almond Croissant was okay. I know almond croissants are made with leftover pastries, but there was no texture at all. It just fell flat, and lookswise it was physically flat as well lol. It was alright. I wouldn't get the almond croissant again. The Bulgogi Poutine was pretty good. The fries were delicious and crispy. The sauce on top of the fries was slightly sweet, salty, and savory. For me, the bulgogi could've been more flavorful and it didn't taste fresh but I liked the overall dish. Lastly, the Peppermint Mocha was alright. It wasn't spectacular. And I felt the same way about my Lavender London Fog with oat milk. I wish there was more depth in my drink. I think the tea could've been steeped a little longer. Flavor was there in my drink, but it wasn't strong enough. It was slightly disappointing since I've had amazing London Fogs before, and this one just wasn't up to par. Also my drink was slightly warm, not too far off from lukewarm. I feel like the price doesn't exactly correlate with quality for most things here. If we come back here, I'd be willing to try different things and pastries. But I don't think my rating would change much.
