Promptly approached by server Harumy, quickly provided with a hot carafe of coffee and condiments. The ambiance is clean, cheerful, and inviting. There is music but it isn't too loud. I ordered the mini-monkey bread (pictured), essentially a biscuit dappled with cinnamon sugar streusel. I didn't love it; I thought it tasted too salty. Still, I finished it so it couldn't have been that bad! I ordered the Breakfast Quesadilla (eggs, chiles, cheese, onions, drizzled with avocado cream and served with red salsa), which was very good. Harumy checked on me, and brought the check promptly. You pay at the counter, not directly to the server. I would have given 4.5 stars but Yelp doesn't enable this, so I rounded up to 5 stars. However, I never have to wait too long for my order even when they are busy. They do have a couple of tables if you want to eat in. I typically get my juice or smoothie to go. They also have smoothie bowls and small snacks like Boulder potato chips. The best part is they have a rewards program if you plan to visit a lot, this could save you money on your purchases. My father and I were really craving boba and when we went inside, we saw three employees working away... which is great; however, we were waiting for maybe about 5 minutes and not one greated us, or maybe tell us they woyld be right with us.... we weren't even acknowledged. Then I heard one of their employee's speak to possibly a friend of hers who walked inside the shop about 7 minutes after we were inside, and she began having a great conversation, laughing with him, etc. so I thought we'd get lucky and be acknowledged after he'd leave. We were waiting for another minute, and she got back to work making drinks. I looked at my father and he looked at me shocked about what was happening. I then said in a raised voice, so they could hear me over their loud blenders, "Hello, we are ready." I saw one worker, turn her head to our direction, and there was no acknowledgement and ignored us. I then began literally waiving my hands in the air, then arms to them and nothing. Then finally I raised my voice to say we were ready and one of them turned around to tell us, "We are busy, doing other drinks!" So my father and I looked at each other in disbelief and left the shop empty handed and quite disappointed. Instead, we went across the street to a local Pho restaurant in their busy place and ordered the boba we originally wanted. We loved them way more than Shiba Boba because we felt acknowledged and they helped us with our drinks. Maybe Shiba Boba is getting too popular and is forgetting what is keeping them employed.
