Beautiful space and views especially at night. Great bartending service and hospitality as well. Dinner was good but the raviolis were a bit under aldente (much undercooked) tough, salmon was well done. Tasty and nice for a large group of people. Live music stage for cocktail hour was great!

Planning an event and seeking a unique space to host it? The Bridge Building is a new option! I have been curious to check out this recently opened event space located on the East bank of the Cumberland River and finally had my chance last night for the Sparkle & Twang Gala. This historic building (around since 1908) has undergone a massive modern rehaul that offers up gorgeous views of the Nashville skyline and adjacent water park. The contemporary design is stunning and the nearly 360 degrees of windows opens up this smaller event space. This space is perfect for anything from dinner parties and mixers to concerts and weddings. I also read up that they will soon be offering weekly Sunday brunch here from 9am - 1pm.

Wedding @ The Bridge Building 7/23/17 - a hidden gem!

We held our wedding & reception @ The Bridge Building on 7/23/17. I can't begin to express our gratitude to Shannon & the event staff! When we began the search for a wedding venue & reception, I visited The Bridge Building. It's an absolutely beautiful venue with stained concrete floors & a breath taking view of downtown Nashville. Although, it was out of our price range, Shannon was helpful in making suggestions & multiple revisions to our proposal to get within our budget. The food (by their chef) was very reasonably priced & delicious (passed Hors d'oeuvres) & open bar with an awesome bartender for 75 guests. They did all the tables, linens lighting, AV, setup & cleanup. She was responsive every time we had questions, including checking multiple dates & the times as we worked through our crazy work & families schedules. We live in NC but are from Nashville. Shannon did multiple conference calls with us to answer any & all questions. We hired an outside wedding planner & she as well, had nothing but a thorough, well-communicated experience. The day & night of our wedding the staff & Shannon couldn't have been more helpful, present & responsive. Our guests couldn't believe how stunning & beautiful the venue was (we only did basic lighting, no flowers & didn't flip the room) - truly a hidden gem!

Price-gouging, no parking if LP has an event. I would never recommend this place unless it was to my worst enemy.

FOOD: Super good!…read more The charcuterie board was deliciously paired! (Could come with more pita chips for dipping) The fried pickles also super good! STAFF: Super friendly and attentive! DRINKS: Really good, really boozy Pricing made sense in terms of context (upscale place and located in the city). COVID SAFETY: The lounge is outdoors and it is a really modern looking set up with fun chairs, neon lights and gas fire pit tables! Since it was outside that made us feel better about attending. Employees were all properly wearing masks (covering their nose) and hand sanitizer was available at both the hotel entrance (where you come inside) and at the restaurant hostess stand. OVERALL - Had a fun night! Have never been to a rooftop bar before and this was a great introduction! The view is beautiful and we got lucky to see the sunset from up there! It was SUPER neat that they had heater lamps so that it didn't get too cold up there at night! Would definitely go again if I am ever in Nashville again!

I didn't like that the women's restaurant had a stall down so it made for a long wait time. Be careful if you're wearing stilettos in the outside area as the bricks aren't mounted down or didn't have anything between the cracks. All of the ladies who worked the bar were nice. The view from the outside was nice

My qualm with Sixty Vines is that both times I've been here, there was a huge delay between the time we finished eating and the time we actually saw our server again to get our check. I'm talking 15+ minutes which feels like forever when you are ready to go. I believe the first time we actually had to ask another server to go find our server. They don't validate parking in the garage so those extra minutes can be the difference between $20 or $29 parking tab. They have handheld portable card swipers for payment. I think it is a general courtesy for the server to turn around or sort of pretend they're looking across the room. I did not necessarily want to tip on the $30 of pre-bottled water we got, but there was a lot of pressure to select either 20% 22% or 24% buttons, so he got an extra $6. It's fine, I just thought it was kinda weird he was watching what I selected.

We decided to not use a wedding planner, and Elizabeth and Samantha were top notch helping us plan such a large undertaking. At our first meeting with Elizabeth she had a folder with recommended vendors. We felt the best part about Houston Station is that ALL of the vendors are in the building, they are used to working seamlessly together, and Elizabeth has long standing relationships with them. At our planning meetings, Elizabeth and the vendors were finishing our sentences! That is how much they anticipated our needs. By the end of the wedding, we felt like Elizabeth and the staff were family. Elizabeth is no nonsense, runs a tight ship, and has the biggest heart of gold. She is a HUGE Alabama fan, and my husband is a HUGE Auburn fan. Of course we were married on the Iron Bowl. Elizabeth set up the grooms room with a TV for the game so my husband could watch it until the last minute. Even in the face of Alabama's loss to Auburn, she knew how special it was for my husband, and she graciously played along. Clearly, I can't say enough about the venue and the people. If you're looking for an upscale way to do it yourself, go to Houston Station. It is worth every cent.

Located in a converted warehouse Jeff and his business partners have created the ideal location that is tucked away south of downtown. From the outside, Houston Station doesn't appear to be anything at all. Was I surprised when I walked up the stairs! A mix of exposed wood and brick generates a very comfortable feel for this space which accommodates about 250 to 300 people. Forget all of the fussy rules, Jeff who is the facility manager emphasizes the flexibility and versatility of the event space. The space is handicap accessible and when you rent, you get the building for the entire day. A great kitchen and private rooms for preparation enhance the characteristics of the station to make other vendors happy. Also, a fantastic little outdoor terrace would be a fabulous place to chill in warmer weather. The possibilities are seriously endless!
