The Gulch, Downtown

FOOD: Super good!…read more The charcuterie board was deliciously paired! (Could come with more pita chips for dipping) The fried pickles also super good! STAFF: Super friendly and attentive! DRINKS: Really good, really boozy Pricing made sense in terms of context (upscale place and located in the city). COVID SAFETY: The lounge is outdoors and it is a really modern looking set up with fun chairs, neon lights and gas fire pit tables! Since it was outside that made us feel better about attending. Employees were all properly wearing masks (covering their nose) and hand sanitizer was available at both the hotel entrance (where you come inside) and at the restaurant hostess stand. OVERALL - Had a fun night! Have never been to a rooftop bar before and this was a great introduction! The view is beautiful and we got lucky to see the sunset from up there! It was SUPER neat that they had heater lamps so that it didn't get too cold up there at night! Would definitely go again if I am ever in Nashville again!

I went to an event here and it was a nice vibe. The space itself was nice. I didn't like that the women's restaurant had a stall down so it made for a long wait time. Be careful if you're wearing stilettos in the outside area as the bricks aren't mounted down or didn't have anything between the cracks. All of the ladies who worked the bar were nice. The view from the outside was nice

We celebrated our anniversary here and had the best time! I…read morehad the steak and my husband had the pork chop, they were both delicious and I think I liked my husband's pork chop more than my steak! We celebrated with a dessert and they gave us a card that says happy anniversary from the staff put on our table. *cheesecake was paid by us, not sure if they do anything for celebration besides the small card that they nonchalantly put on the table when they sat us But this place is very open and had high ceiling, clean and welcoming

I've been here twice and the food is always excellent. I also love that they have several…read moredifferent NA wines that are very good, and that they have half pour options! My qualm with Sixty Vines is that both times I've been here, there was a huge delay between the time we finished eating and the time we actually saw our server again to get our check. I'm talking 15+ minutes which feels like forever when you are ready to go. I believe the first time we actually had to ask another server to go find our server. They don't validate parking in the garage so those extra minutes can be the difference between $20 or $29 parking tab. They have handheld portable card swipers for payment. I think it is a general courtesy for the server to turn around or sort of pretend they're looking across the room. I did not necessarily want to tip on the $30 of pre-bottled water we got, but there was a lot of pressure to select either 20% 22% or 24% buttons, so he got an extra $6. It's fine, I just thought it was kinda weird he was watching what I selected.

My husband and I had our wedding at Houston Station on November 25th. We cannot say enough about…read morethe beauty of the venue and the dedication of the staff! We decided to not use a wedding planner, and Elizabeth and Samantha were top notch helping us plan such a large undertaking. At our first meeting with Elizabeth she had a folder with recommended vendors. We felt the best part about Houston Station is that ALL of the vendors are in the building, they are used to working seamlessly together, and Elizabeth has long standing relationships with them. At our planning meetings, Elizabeth and the vendors were finishing our sentences! That is how much they anticipated our needs. By the end of the wedding, we felt like Elizabeth and the staff were family. Elizabeth is no nonsense, runs a tight ship, and has the biggest heart of gold. She is a HUGE Alabama fan, and my husband is a HUGE Auburn fan. Of course we were married on the Iron Bowl. Elizabeth set up the grooms room with a TV for the game so my husband could watch it until the last minute. Even in the face of Alabama's loss to Auburn, she knew how special it was for my husband, and she graciously played along. Clearly, I can't say enough about the venue and the people. If you're looking for an upscale way to do it yourself, go to Houston Station. It is worth every cent.

If you are looking for an event space for a wedding, party, or other function I would recommend…read morechecking out Houston Station. Located in a converted warehouse Jeff and his business partners have created the ideal location that is tucked away south of downtown. From the outside, Houston Station doesn't appear to be anything at all. Was I surprised when I walked up the stairs! A mix of exposed wood and brick generates a very comfortable feel for this space which accommodates about 250 to 300 people. Forget all of the fussy rules, Jeff who is the facility manager emphasizes the flexibility and versatility of the event space. The space is handicap accessible and when you rent, you get the building for the entire day. A great kitchen and private rooms for preparation enhance the characteristics of the station to make other vendors happy. Also, a fantastic little outdoor terrace would be a fabulous place to chill in warmer weather. The possibilities are seriously endless!
