As a tourist destination, I've got to give this is the 2-stars it deserves. It really is pretty…read more"meh" and I can't say I'd recommend going out of your way to stop here. That being said, if you are really into beer you might enjoy it. We stopped for a brief visit and got some beers. As others have said, it's really just a small shop and you can buy a whole range of Arran Brewery merchandise (hoodies, tshirts) as well as beers. Staff were friendly enough and they do offer tours but we decided against it as we've done tonnes of brewery tours in our time. Graeme ended up buying a gift pack of beer (for himself) which is actually cheaper to buy at the Co-Op in town. I can't say I'd go out of my way to head back when I return to Arran, but it is handy for going to the nearby Brodick Castle and Wineport bar/restaurant.

Don't waste your time…read more I ordered some online as a gift for my Dad. it never showed up. about 2 months later I wondered what had happened. My Dad said he never got it, didn't know what I was talking about. In the end I called up the brewery. "We don't have any of that available, haven't for about 6 months" "but it was ,and is, on your web site for sale??" "we haven't got any" "but you took my money. If you didn't have any, perhaps you should have a)not advertised it for sale b) not taken peoples money and c)pointed it out to me you couldn't fulfill the order and refunded me d)taken if off the website" "yeah........sorry about that" So basically they made a nice beer, sold it all, and now they just steal from people. I told my Dad and he said the exact same thing had happened to him, he had even written to the owner of the brewery (who was apparently shocked and exceptionally angry- not enough to do anything about it though) and he had given up on it. Don't believe people from rural Scotland when they complain about no jobs either; clearly they are just too lazy to capitalize on a good thing.

We stopped for some beers and dinner one evening, ordered a flight, and a bunch of food items to share. Between the two of us, we got the Temple of Seitan wings (small size; £9), the Beyond Meat burger (£13.75), and the feta & avo bowl (£11.45) with the feta removed, and tindle (£4.50; a vegan chicken) added. -The wings were extremely rich, coated with an intense buffalo sauce and served with mayo as though you'd need more sauce. This was a bit too intense for me, but my wife loved them. The seitan texture was definitely excellent though. 3.5/5 -The Beyond Meat burger was honestly one of the better Beyond burgers I've had in some time. This burger comes with roasted yellow peppers, vegan cheese, and some pickles. Really tasty, but overpriced (almost £14 for just a burger??). 4/5 -The avo bowl + tindle was quite nice. You get a bed a romaine mostly, with avocado, tomatoes, smoked almonds, and a honey mustard dressing, plus a generous portion of the tindle that I added on. The salad was a bit overdressed, so I'd order the dressing on the side next time. But overall, this was very nice and a generous portion. 4/5 All in all, great service, beers, and vegan food options. I'd definitely eat at Brewdog again.
