Out with the old, in with the significantly older. Bretzel Bakery, over 140 years old, has moved into what was formerly The Craft Bakery. The results, based on my first impressions, are good.
I picked up a slice of pizza, cinnamon swirl and drink for around €5. Good value, and the pizza and swirl were both delicious. Bretzel's product loses none of its deliciousness during its trip down the Rathmines Road from their Portobello bakery.
They've a pretty varied choice, so I'll need to go back a few times to get a better grasp of the place. The only constraint will be how long I can justify having pizza and cake for lunch. read more
