I've been fortunate to grow up eating the best bagels in NYC, Long Island, married into a Jewish family where family gatherings involve smoked fish and bagels. Trust me, this bagel is as good as any I've eaten in NYC, baked fresh daily. It's boiled then baked with a slight crispy crust and chewy inside, perfectly flavored. I wish I knew this a week ago, would have picked up for breakfast for family reunion. The service is so kind, the ambiance casual, clean.

Just ordered breakfast and had to come here immediately to share this otherworldly experience…read more We ordered breakfast at 8:30 and it is now 9:21 and we already received it, ate it, and are ready to review it all in under an hour! I got the pork roll, egg, and cheese on pancakes and my husband got the scrapple, egg , and cheese on French toast. We each gave each other one half so we could try both. We also did the home fries and my husband got a piece of their crumb cake. I feel like I just gained 50 pounds but everything was terrific. Both sandwiches came with sides of syrup for dipping, the home fries are big chunks of potato with some crispy bites, which I love. We are planning on eating healthier after this weekend but this is definitely a future cheat meal establishment.

Do you know that feeling when you start anticipating an experience before you get there?…read more Well this morning I was imagining a crusty chewy onion bagel with veggie cream cheese that provided a perfect flavor match perhaps with some veggie snap amidst the velvety cream cheese. Mmmm couldn't wait Well my dreams fell flat ... totally ... First no onion bagels so I ordered a poppy seed. Second it was the most abysmal looking poppy seed bagel almost absent of poppyseeds. I am looking at my uneaten half and counting seeds ... 1, 2,3 ... NINETEEN totals poppy seeds on half the bagel. Third, the bagel's surface was let's say "flexible" to the touch. Yea ... no bagel crunch to the bite almost soft but still bagelish chewy. But, I did order a poppyseed bagel, right? Fourth, that "veggie cream cheese" had a rather unique taste with absolutely no crisp veggies in the mix just a collection of veggies colorful specks that hinted at the original source. Do they use dehydrated veggies dust to create their Veggie Cream Cheese? Truly a mystery and about a quarter of my bagel ended up in the trash. Don't sit near the door on a cold day because you will sense the outdoors. I will take the blame for this one since I chose my table but I needed the space. The coffee was good ... service friendly and prompt ... and they were busy, which means people not resembling me like their "bagels." So two stars for what I was missing. I do know there are other locations nearby so in the future if I want a "real" bagel or a poppyseed bagel with poppyseeds and veggie cream cheese that tastes ... well I know where I won't go.

WHO KNEW? I've…read moreprobably passed this place a thousand times over the years, but it's in a non-descript plaza with minimal signage that is honestly, a little hard to see. It has never, ever been on my radar. But then I'd seen a couple of locals rate their cheesesteaks as one of those.... hidden gems. THERE, I SAID IT. So we stopped by, got one to go to share, and tried it out at home. It was EXCELLENT. Nice seeded roll, very generously seasoned with just the right amount of Cooper sharp cheese, very meaty and yes, MOIST. While it's not in a location that is anyway convenient to me, I'd definitely make a pit stop next time I'm in the area in need of a great cheesesteak.

5 Stars - An Absolutely Wonderful Bakery!…read more I've been coming to Country Hill Amish Bakery for years, and it never disappoints! Everything is absolutely delicious, made with that wonderful, old-fashioned, homemade goodness that keeps me coming back again and again. Their donuts are HUGE and absolutely spectacular--some of the best around! I'm also a huge fan of their baked custard, which is simply delicious. Their fresh breads, classic cookies, pastries, and all sorts of wonderful baked treats are equally fantastic. What I especially love is that everything tastes like real, traditional home baking--the kind of comforting, delicious treats that remind you why a good bakery is such a treasure. After years of visiting, I can confidently say that Country Hill Amish Bakery is a gem! Whether you're stopping in for a donut, picking up a loaf of bread, or treating yourself to something sweet, you really can't go wrong. Friendly, efficient service with a smile and the wonderful smells of fresh baked goods packed warm is just the best. Highly, highly recommended! Come hungry and leave happy!

They had seasonal flavors like blueberry cold brew and banana flambé lattes. Very cool! They also offer some food options such as bacon, and bagels with spreads. The coffee spot is next to some cute seating and is definitely a good spot to sit and chill while you sip. I ordered the iced Blonde Hawaiian with oat milk and my mom had the hot s'mores latte. She also ordered a bagel with cream cheese. The Blonde Hawaiian was delicious! The toffee nut with the coconut and vanilla was sweet and yummy. My mom's s'mores latte was good, but she did say it was a tad too sweet for her liking so if you're not into sweets maybe ask for less syrup. Bonus points to Rise N Grind though because I watched the barista use a mini torch to roast a marshmallow for my mom's drink. It was adorable and such a nice touch! She really liked the bagel and said that they were very generous with the cream cheese spread as well. All in all, I definitely recommend Rise N Grind, and I look forward to coming back to try the banana flambé coffee!
