Besides, the wonderful smells from the freshly baked goods are free and being calorie free, are worthy of a fifth star on their own

I also took 2 cookies for later in the day. While i greatly enjoyed the breakfast i was disappointed in the peanut butter cookie. It wasn't fresh. It looked delicious and i was hopeful but it was hard and not pleasant to eat. Maybe it just had been in the cookie jar too long. I mean it is a bakery and cafe and should be fresh. Their easter cookies and pies in the display case looked AMAZING. I wish i had chosen one of tbose. Anyway, i would go back for breakfast and for pie or maybe one of tnose beautifully decorated easter cookies. But the peanut butter cookie - i will pass on that. Staff were very nice!

There is a ton of variety from in-house decorated cookies, pastries, bars and cake slices available. The prices are great for a local fresh bakery. A dozen chocolate chip cookies baked the same day for $10? Yes, please! Neat-O's does custom orders for cakes and other baked items. They catered my niece's party with lots of sweet, frosted, buttery donuts that tasted so fresh and upscale for a reasonable price. There is usually only one staff member working but they always are polite and efficient. They close relatively early (2pm) so I'd consider it weekend spot unless you're off for the day. It's a smaller shop and there isn't much seating so it isn't a place I'd plan on bringing family to sit down. If you have 5 bucks in your pocket, pop in while you're hanging on the square and treat yourself to something sweet!

The kind Amish ladies are still tallying orders on an old-fashioned cash register, you can peek in the back and watch the busy ladies making more goodies, and one girl was even singing beautifully while she worked.
