The fried clam strips are absolutely a must. They are getting hard to find around the country and it is a pleasure to be able to get them when in Utica. They are seasoned just right. The oysters were a bit small, but very fresh and served with wonderful accompaniments. The haddock was perfectly cooked. And everyone at my table seemed pleased with the full variety of this most satisfying menu. Coffee and dessert were very nice. No cappuccino or espresso, but that's not why you come to this delightful seafood restaurant. I will continue to come back when I am in Utica.

The dining area had lots of decorations as you'd imagine the theme was beach like. Started off with calamari and it was very unique - the rings were cut thinner than most places and the light breading really let the flavors come through...definitely fresh and really good. Opted for the deep fried haddock and shrimp special, shrimp were very large and still had bite to them so I have to believe they were very fresh. Beer battered haddock was good - two strips with a nice coating. Took a pic of the dinner but it came out lousy - good reason to return.

Karma Asian Fusion was a bit of a mixed experience for us…read more First, the positives: the restaurant smelled fantastic when we walked in, which always builds your expectations right away. The portion sizes are very generous, the takeout service was quick, and everything was packaged well, which is always appreciated when bringing food home. The challenge for us came with the flavor and texture of the food. Because this is clearly fusion cuisine, it's understandable that the dishes won't taste exactly like traditional versions, even if they share the same names. That said, many of the dishes we ordered were very vinegar-forward, which ended up overpowering most of the other flavors. The egg rolls had a great crisp, but unfortunately they were extremely oily, to the point that biting into one resulted in a mouthful of oil. The noodles were interesting but arrived as one solid clump stuck together, and overall the dish felt quite bland despite the strong vinegar notes. Both myself and my dining companion experienced stomach discomfort fairly quickly, likely from the grease level. While the portion sizes were impressive, we both agreed there was no chance we would be eating the leftovers. Our roommate also tried some of the chicken and ended up spitting it out because of the strong sour/vinegar flavor. One suggestion I would make is considering different naming for some dishes. When menu items use traditional names, diners often expect something closer to the classic flavor profile. With fusion cooking, setting expectations differently might help avoid that mismatch. Another small suggestion would be offering a choice of noodles, as that could add some flexibility to the dishes. Overall, Karma Asian Fusion does a few things well -- generous portions, quick service, and good takeout packaging -- but the flavor balance and oil level just didn't work for us personally.

A friend and I came here late one Friday night (around 7PM) for wings on a snowy night. The place…read morewas busy with take-out orders, and several groups were sitting at tables. It was loud, cramped, and a bit dark inside, which reminded me of a bar setting even though it wasn't at all set up like one. It was also cold, because every time the front door opened a cold breeze blew in. We ordered 30 bone-in wings and two drinks and it was over $50. I guess that is how it goes. The wings varied in size from normal to huge. No tiny wings in the bunch, and they were a good mix of flats and drumsticks. We got Buffalo, Barbecue, and Hawaiian flavors. I never got to try the Buffalo but the other two flavors were good. However, they were smothered in sticky sauce which got cloying after awhile and completely rendered your fingers disgusting. A roll of paper towels at the counter helped, though I had to go back after every couple of wings for more. The Hawaiian had a strong ginger flavor which was different and enjoyable. However, in sum I think they need to use less sauce in the future. Drinks were via the all-in-one soda machine that seems to have a million flavors on tap. It is right by the door and the area was crowded, so getting to the machine wasn't easy. It was fun to go out for wings, though it wasn't cheap. I rarely eat wings anymore so I can't say if the prices were fair or not, but they were good wings.

We placed our order on the road, much like most places it's super convenient to order on the go. Walking in the place overall looked very clean, and I was greeted very quickly as every staff member was doing something. They checked on my order and told me it should be ready soon. We got plain, garlic parm, Louisiana and hot honey and fries. First off I wanna say it now. There is no such thing as boneless wings, it's chicken chunks (especially considering it's breaded like a nugget). All were breaded and cooked crispy. Garlic parm-the misses loved it Plain- yep just that Louisiana- faintly spicy , good flavor Honey- spot on sauce. Fries- those were a big hit. Everyone liked them. The bleu cheese needs some work, it's too thin and there's hardly any chunks in it. 3/10. Ranch- it's fair game to use on sauced chicken nuggets. If these were actual wings I'd have some real negative comments to add there about it being in the trash. ** Ranch has no place near real wings** But decent food. Well made , good flavor.
