This Boiling Crab location continues to deliver after having been open a few months now. I've been coming back almost every week and the service and food is just as good as day one when I came. I have only been here right when they open on Saturdays and Sundays and there is never a wait. Workers here are so friendly. Our waters are always topped off and it is such a nice dining experience. It goes without saying that I will be back and I highly recommend you coming to this location!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the host Chris and he was very kind! I asked if I could get a boil to go and he gladly said yes! Then he offered me to dine-in since there wasn't a wait. So I figured. "Why not?" I might as well. Then he asked if this was my first time at a shrimp boil. I told him this was my second one. He let me know that the menu is brought up by a QR code and he showed me the other two menus that consisted of cocktail drinks and their new easy peeled shrimps Avyn ended up being my waiter and he was very sweet and knowledgeable and he explained to me the menu and how the shrimp comes out and how to build a boil. I could either choose the regular shrimp or their new shrimp for a little bit more. I decided to go with their regular shrimp since it was less expensive and I had never been here before. There was also a girl named Cassidy that helped me put my bib on and I thought that that was a really nice hospitality touch! Thank you. I ordered my boil with Shrimp, sausage, potatoes and hard boiled eggs. I ended up stopping at the bathroom and by the time I came out my boil was ready I was really impressed that almost every employee that walked by would ask me I needed anything and if everything was okay. That's some really good Customer Service and attention to their patrons. The boil itself? The sausage was really juicy and moist and seasoned. 5/5. The potatoes and eggs tasted REALLY GOOD dipped in the juice. 5/5 Now, I didn't realize that the shrimp was a FULL SHRIMP lol that's probably why they came up with their NEW EASY PEEL SHRIMP which is a good idea! But this regular shrimp is also good in the juice! 5/5. I do wish it was a bit more flavoring but it was still good and I'm grateful for it. It had been so long since I've had a shrimp boil and I'm grateful for the memories and the chance to try it again. Thank you The Boiling Crab and all of the kind workers and Avyn for being so on top of his game and attentive to me and his other tables and for the unexpected refill on water and for helping me with my to-go bag and gloves! I'll be back again soon!

I've been here twice now in the last month and both times were different experiences! The first time I went, was right when they opened lol and the service was really great, but the food did take a while to come. My friend and I shared 1lb of shrimp, sausages, and cajun fries. It was a lot of food, the cajun fries were crispy and reminded me of hot cheeto hot fries The next time I went, the food also took a while to come out, it was actually really long because our fries had come out and we we had almost already finished half before it even came out. I had to ask for them to check on it. This time we got 1 lb shrimp, sausages, corn, and potato and it definitely felt like it wasn't 1lb of shrimp. My friend she got clams and all her clams were missing, she dug through the bag because of course they fall out but it was barely any. The fries didn't hit the same this time So both times they're pretty slow with bringing food out

So happy they opened this location closer to me! I highly recommend putting your name on the Yelp waitlist early. While waiting, you can easily kill time walking around the plaza. I personally love browsing Daiso or 99 Ranch, or grabbing a drink from Omomo. Our wait was around 45 minutes on a busy day, which went by pretty fast. Quality & Value: This location delivers the exact same delicious, consistent quality as other Boiling Crab spots. It's easily my top pick when craving an affordable, flavor-packed seafood boil. I still firmly believe that the sauce is unbeatable in terms of umami and spicy flavor. Go-To Order: I always get a pound of shrimp with The Whole Shabang! (medium) along with lemon pepper fries and a side of rice. A pro move is pouring the remaining sauce over the rice after finishing the shrimp. It's so good and flavorful! Service: Staff here is attentive, friendly, and keeps things moving smoothly despite how busy it gets. A great addition to Tustin and a reliable spot that fulfills a craving!

This new location is epic. It is super spacious and their bathrooms have nice large stainless steel sinks to wash your hands after you feast. The food here was I would like to say better than kickin' CRAB! Even though we ordered frozen crawfish and shrimp, it tasted like it was fresh. To start, we got the sweet potato fries to tie us over (I wish they were a little bit more crispy, but still yummy). The crawfish came within reasonable time and we feasted. It was delicious. The shebang sauce is my favorite with everything. I will definitely be back to this location. I would also like to shout out: Steven, Ken, and Jen who were exceptional servers and were constantly checking in on us!

Celine made our experience especially pleasant and she was exceptional in her prompt service. This new location is consistent with the other Boiling Crabs I've visited. Boiling Crab truly never misses! I get a pound of shrimp head on with potatoes and corn spice level medium whole shebang. I like the amount of spice. I'd say it's a 7/10 spice level so pro tip, if you're nervous about the spice level, get mild and order the xxx spice on the side so you don't have to commit to an entire bag of spicy seafood if you're not sure. You can check in on Yelp if the line is long and head over accordingly. The shrimp basket is delicious. Highly recommend. I like how the interior has a large hand washing station. Efficient and so clean.

First time the family tried this place. There was a line twenty minutes before opening so you know it's popular. Not a large restaurant but descent size. The staff was super friendly and explained the menu, we all got something different to enjoy. It wasn't my cup of tea, I love seafood but seeing the eyes on the shrimp etc wasn't for me. I ate my food and everyone seemed to enjoy it, but overall I prefer traditional seafood. If you like crab boils and all the parts on the seafood this is for you .

The new Boiling Crab store did not disappoint! I was so satisfied with every aspect of the new location, and I would definitely come back in a heartbeat. The food was fresh; the food is always good, but our fried catfish has never come out THAT hot and juicy. The seafood quality was excellent, and the size and taste were on point. The service is great! For being such a new store, the staff seems well-equipped to handle everything that comes with it. They also brought back the paper menus, so ordering was much easier (I personally do not like QR code menus). The restaurant itself is not as big as the south coast or rowland, but I like that even better. There are private bathrooms and a separate hand washing station, and that really helps keep things clean and organized. Shoutout to the managers Abe, Jenn, and Sarah, because they truly made the experience spectacular. Definitely check this place out.

The OG of seafood boils! Checked them out on grand opening day and wow... Tustin finally has a Boiling Crab! If you know, you know. When it comes to seafood boils, this place still reigns supreme. Even with the grand opening crowds, the service was fantastic! Super friendly, attentive, and just as good as the other locations. The food? Top tier as always. The gumbo is a must-order. We usually stick with the Shabang sauce, and the kids tried the Cajun sauce for the first time, and I have to admit, it totally caught me by surprise. So flavorful and delicious that it might be our new favorite! The wait was about an hour and a half, but honestly, that's pretty expected for opening day and it went by faster than we thought. Plus, once those bags hit the table, all was forgiven. So glad they opened one in Tustin. No more long drives when the seafood boil craving hits. Highly recommend!

Honestly, our waitress was friendly and food was what you'd expect from Boiling Crab since it's a chain. However, the guy who lead us to our seats ruined our experience. We got to the new Tustin branch about 5 minutes before opening today and was the 4th group in line. When we got in, the guy assigned to take us to our seats took us to a regular table and my husband asked immediately if we could get a booth seat instead (keep in mind, restaurant was empty because we were 4th group at opening). We have two kids so it would be better to sit at booths seats. The guy refused, saying that he couldn't do that because our table was assigned when we checked in at the front so we would have to walk back to the front to get our table reassigned. He put down the long strip of paper on our table and walked away. What is truly ridiculous is that while we were dining, a few other groups near us also asked to be seated at booth after they were led to the regular seats and ALL OF THEM GOT BOOTH SEATS IMMEDIATELY, no hassle, no fuss. Not sure if our guy was just being extra difficult to us but what a terrible experience. I will not return to the Tustin location. If you want booth seats, request it at the front since you might be turned down for no clear reason and targeted with bad service.

Visited this location for the first time & it was a very pleasant & welcoming experience. The restaurant was clean with more table seating than booth seating. Our wait time was 30 minutes with no area to sit even though they have the space, but staff were friendly & helpful, all my questions were answered & my waitress Mina was awesome, friendly & attentive to our needs. Our food was delicious & steaming hot.

Grand Opening! Plentiful parking but expect long wait times with no Yelp Waitlist to check in ahead of time. While we waited, we played Plinko and won some cool Boiling Crab cups! Other prizes included a T-shirt, caps, a tote, or stickers. In addition, they had a fun photo backdrop for folks to enjoy. (No Grand opening discounts.) We have been to the majority of the other SoCal locations so we're familiar with the lighthouse/fishing vibe, eating off the tables, and how to order. PRO TIP: bring your own sharpie to write on the posts!! When we were seated, I noticed right away that the staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient. Since they're brand new, they do not have their liquor license yet. (When they do, get yourself a Michelada. You're welcome.) Our food had excellent SHABANG flavor and everything was pretty fresh...however, we had a handful of mushy shrimp and half of the order of scallops were not cooked all the way through. Nevertheless, very excited for this new location!

Aftermath lol I forgot to take a pic beforeeee

Even though it was 6:15 on a Saturday night, we were able to be sat right away. As soon as we walked in, someone greeted us and showed us to our table. Our server immediately got us waters and asked if we wanted anything else to drink (wife and I both got some delicious beers that they had on tap). We had our little one in tow with us and they were so accommodating to him! As soon as we were ready, our server took our order. We got: Chowder "frots" (fries and tots mixed in with some New England clam chowder, bacon, onions, cheese, and other goodies) 10/10, would definitely order again. My wife got the lobster roll with a side of clam chowder. Loaded with lobster, but you do pay the price. Labeled as market price, this was almost $40. Delicious, but not worth it in our opinion. 6.5/10. Pan roast (house specialty which came with shredded crab, shrimp, clams, and muscles). This, topped with rice, was heavenly. Better than any pan roast I've had. Came out ripping hot as it should. My wife was envious of my dish. 10/10 From the kids menu we also ordered the chicken Alfredo. My kid loved it, but my wife and I both had a bite and wow, we would've ordered that for ourselves it was so good. 10/10. We can't wait to come back just for the food. On top of that, however, service was above and beyond. The servers and everyone in the restaurant were so accommodating to us and our child and made us feel so, so welcome. We would come back even if the food was bad, solely for the service we received. Vibes we great, decoration on the walls look like they hired an artist to paint it. They had two TV's behind the bar / prep area that was showing NBA and PGA which I'll never complain about. All around 10/10 experience.

For $27, my order came with only 2 clams, 2 shrimp, and ZERO andouille sausage. The menu description specifically says the House Special includes shredded blue crab, clams, mussels, andouille sausage, and shrimp. I attached photos because the amount of seafood I received was honestly ridiculous for the price. What made it even worse is that I specifically requested NO MUSSELS because I cannot eat them, yet I ended up biting into a mussel. If a customer specifically asks for an ingredient to be left out for a dietary reason, that request needs to be taken seriously. I've had the pan roast from the Temple City location and the difference is night and day. This location was extremely disappointing in comparison. Between the missing ingredients, barely any seafood, and still receiving something I specifically asked to be removed, I genuinely feel scammed paying $27 for this. I would not recommend this location at all. It's also located inside Irvine Spectrum, so there isn't a convenient parking lot right next to the restaurant. You have to park in the shopping center and walk over, which makes picking up an order even more inconvenient. Definitely not worth the price or hassle. I'll stick with the Temple City location from now on.
