However, it was clean. Service for Good Friday was terrible. Simply not enough servers for the amount of people. It was slow the other time too, but not as bad as Good Friday. Service was okay once we were able to get someone. The kitchen was backed up as well, so it took a long time for our food to come out. Food was good. Although I found the batter this time to be too doughy, but pleasant enough. There also was a burger which was delicious. Fries were tasty and thick cut. Oscars pub is a very cool little pub, when we were there it was very quiet which was nice, they didn't have ridiculously loud music playing or a bunch of TVs with a bunch of sports playing, it was a very nice location to sit back have a great meal grab a pint and visit. I definitely recommend this place and will 100% visit again.

I have gone to this bar on multiple times hoping that the experience would improve but it never has. The patrons are impolite and rude definitely a very unruly crowd that does not favour young women or men. I have been assaulted here before as well and the bar maid did nothing about it saying she knew the guy, (who literally grabbed my legs without warning or consent) saying that he was just drunk. My case in point is that if you are under the age of 45 this bar is definitely not for you as you will probably not enjoy the atmosphere and staff at all. Please save yourself the negativity and avoid this bar the brink and whiskey is just down the road and a much much better atmosphere for young adults.

It's normally $23.00 but on Thursdays that dish is reduced to $18.00 or $19.00. It came with two huge pieces of fish which were delicious. The fish didn't have the greasy taste that happens in some places. Several of us ordered the same meal and we all enjoyed our fish. The problem was that the other orders such as sandwiches came quite a while after the fish. In fact I was finishing up when the last order arrived. The service was good and friendly but they have got to get the meals timed so that they can be served closer to the same time.
