REESE! One of the machines didn't give us a card that was dropped and he was SO GREAT and helped my girls. Not only did he fix the machine for us, but he helped my girls figure out how to play the game and gave the girls some extra plays. My girls had so much fun playing. He really made their whole night. We don't live here anymore, and are in town visiting. We decided to come play a couple games and he went above and beyond to make sure they had the best night. This place is a typical and enormous chain type of family entertainment. It's huge and busy! It's definitely a place for families and young adults. They offer laser tag, bowling, private party rooms and a ton of gaming. This is a great spot for children's birthday party, especially if you grab yourself a private room. we go to establishments for enjoyment and fun. what i saw today was unacceptable. I understand that there will be days that establishments will be busy but there is no reason to treat a person with disability with rudeness. For the bartender who could not understand the man that couldn't hear and then made fun of him with the other bartender is not a good place for employment for them. That is rude. how about you take a few minutes to try and understand the person instead of trying to rush and get the man out of your way. First time here. Place reminds me of Dave and Buster for adults. The restaurant is separate from the games and is very large and clean. The staff all have great attitudes and nice, helpful and friendly. My waiter was Dylan and did an exceptional service and checked on me many times. He gave next level service for sure. Definitely worth bookmarking and returning when I'm back in the area. The jalapeño wontons are amazing. Not spicy at all. My southwest chicken salad is exceptionally tasty. read more

What a cool, fun place in Bakersfield it had bowling, laser tag, a ropes obstacle course, karaoke, arcade so many things as well as restaurants and bar. The fried pickles were good just really salty and the pretzels were fine as well but the cheese sauce it came with was not it We had a great time after drinks and food as we headed to the arcade. Even though this is probably the most I've paid for bowling (like more than in Miami and LA), it was still a really fun time. The buffalo chicken wings were pretty good and there was no wait time to grab a lane on a Friday night, surprisingly! The venue is large and spacious so it never felt too crowded. I've had several booked events at this location, and they've only gotten better each time! During our first booking we encountered an issue with their then security, but the business swiftly corrected the concern that we brought to their attention which made us appreciate them even more for validating and understanding our concerns. We had our grandsons 10th birthday party at the BLVD. All the kids had a great time. Sammy was our server and she was amazing. Parties are more bang for your buck here. Kids parties have gotten ridiculously expensive and BLVD's bowling option is the best value IMO. You get 1.5 hours of bowling and then you get your game cards. The kids will easily play for another hour with the basic game cards with no upgrades. Like any party venue there are rules, but that's expected. The hostess was patient and very attentive. I'm sure they deal with a lot of stressed out moms and our hostess was very gracious with me. read more

On Sunday went to eat some food at the Boulevard . When the food came out we discovered a nasty long black bug cooked into the food. We were totally grossed out and didn't want to eat any more food & wanted to leave. When the manager came out, whose name is McKenzie she was probably the worst manager I have ever dealt with at any restaurant. She was not interested in making our experience better she discounted 2 items because one item we didn't eat and the other item had the bug in it. And half of the other, we were too grossed out to eat it because they were all the same type of pizza. Our whole experience was not good, but could have been better if McKenzie was a more understanding manager. She was very cheap and doesn't care about customer experience only the bottom line. She also lied to us and said that the bug flew on the food after it was cooked, but we looked at the bug and it was not moving at all . It was cooked very well into the food. It wasn't struggling or trying to move at all, but she lied and said that they grabbed the bug and they put it outside so I could crawl away in order to get away with doing the least for us. I have never seen a more dead bug in my entire life. That's how cheap she is. For customer experience . She is horrible. Lastly because she didn't care that we were grossed out when we left we ended up spending more than expected that day because we were still hungry but not for their food anymore. Her lack of care for customers experience who truly have a bad experience & are grossed out is bad business practice. Since the opening of that establishment, we've spent a few thousand dollars there. And this is how customers are treated with legitimate experiences that are not good. read more

Been here a number of times - after-work drinks, my daughter's 15th and for some birthday bowling last month. This place has always been clean, fun, and the service is always exceptional! For a place that specializes in games and arcade, we did not expect the food to be amazing but their fish and chips were wonderful! The breading for the fish was crispy without being overly greasy and the fish was flavored nicely as well. The staff attending to us was friendly and approachable, considering how busy the place gets around lunch time. Hopefully, the karaoke would be usable on our next visit (always looking forward to it!) and there would be a more efficient way of extending our bowling time without having to line up at the entrance just to ask for an extension. read more

The BLVD hosted my 30th birthday party (on November 4, 2023). From start to finish, the staff was extremely professional and kind. I sent an email to them about planning my event, and they responded with a call and email the same day. I was able to tell them everything I wanted. Shanowa created the contract for me to sign. Mackenzie answered all of my questions about how the day of the party would go, and gave me a tour of the party room and VIP bowling area. I was able to drop off my decorations and they set up everything so well! Jake was my party host. He was so helpful and great with communication. He was quick taking our drink orders, bringing us things we needed. Food & Drinks: I had pepperoni and bbq chicken pizza, bbq and garlic Parmesan wings. All of the food was great! I had a few of the Ms. Pac-Man and Midnight Malibu Drinks and they were so delicious. Jake also brought us pitchers of any soft drinks my family and friends requested. The BLVD Staff was quick with refills.  Game Cards: the $35 game cards were enough, we didn't need to reload them for adults or kids. Laser Tag needed the most points but we had plenty left over to keep playing games. read more

Recently helped host an " End of the Year Party" here for our soccer team and we had a great time! Our event space in the VIP bowling lanes and private room were perfect for what we wanted. The girls had a great time bowling and our package also included $35 gift cards to play games/ do ropes course/laser tag and I think that was their favorite part. Had our birthday celebration for our precious, adorable Amy tonight. What a fun time it was in the VIP bowling area! The food was great, the drinks were flowing and the ambiance was fantastic, it really felt like our own private VIP area! As great as all those things were, the greatest thing of all was the service!
