Friendly staff tops the list of reasons to go to this B&B Restaurant. Good food and attention grabbing view are also great reasons. The best reason is that it's Friday or Saturday and they are open! Steak salad was delicious. read more

Pretty nice restaurant in a kinda middle of nowhere place. Situated atop a bluff, the place offers a nice view and grounds to roam before or after your meal. Bed and breakfast also on the property. We stopped by on a family outing and just happened to find the place without looking. They have specials daily and steak is their specialty. They offer a full bar and have a friendly staff there to serve you. I do recommend a stop by on a night when you're wanting some a little more. read more

The Bluff Steakhouse - Steakhouses Near Me - Hardy, Arkansas

As always, best food, best view and service. We always take any visitors to our area here for yummy food and views!!

Worst experience ever here. Hardly anyone here, maybe 4 tables and had to ask to get drinks after 15 minutes. Appetizer came out after meal(they did comp it). Only one waitress working and did OK for what she had to work with. Two others standing around. Not sure what their role was. Had sea bass and it was good, nothing special. Won't be back. read more

Located within Biggers B&B, the atmosphere is kind of like a hospital cafeteria. Don't expect anything fancy or a piano playing- not that kind of steakhouse. Lots of variety on the menu but I would stick with the steaks (I'm a little weary of ordering seafood or crab cakes in a restaurant in Hardy, AR...just saying). The filets were cooked perfectly & you can choose from a number of sides. Service was good & although the key lime pie may not look that great in the photo, it was. Definitely homemade. The restaurant is within Biggers B&B but it's opened to the public. This means, while you're waiting to be seated for dinner, you may have to deal w/people checking in to their rooms. But everyone was extremely friendly. read more

The Bluff Steakhouse - Coconut shrimp w/choice of 2 sides - Steakhouses Near Me - Hardy, Arkansas

Great service, food mediocre but great drinks and live music with a gorgeous view of the spring river.

The new ownership of the always wonderful Biggers restaurant--now called The Buff Steakhouse in Hardy, AR has dropped this restaurants rating for food to almost (0) ZERO. And, the management not offering us any type of compensation for the "worst 4 steaks" that I have ever seen come out of a restaurant's kitchen for about $45.00 per plate (steak and tax) is totally unacceptable. My rating of 1 star and not 0 stars was based on the appetizers and potatoes being ok. The steaks were burnt/charred and under cooked--oh my gosh--they were hard to cut with a steak knife due to the hard charred outer part. And, the steak quality-of-cut was also very poor--very fibrous. This does not completely describe how bad the steaks really were, but I'm leaving it there. Our wait person was told about the steaks and they said they would tell the cook. Well, great, but that did nothing for our party's food or feelings about the inferior quality of the steaks we were served. And, no one even asked us if anything could be done about our displeasure with the meal. On a positive note: Our wait person was attentive. PS: Your money can be spent for better food almost anywhere else read more

My wife called their bluff, she ordered the filet, it was a cheap gamey fibrous steak, she couldn't eat, they didn't try to accommodate or give refund, the chicken sandwich and iced tea were good, not sure why they claim to be a steakhouse!!! read more

Hubby n I went to the Bluff last evening for my birthday dinner. We had been there once before and had an excellent dinner. We both had the loaded potato soup. It was very good. Perfect little chunks of potatoes, bacon, and green onion in a savory, buttery/cheesy broth. Hubby had the Mahi Mahi with a baked sweet potato. MM was fresh, sweet, and moist---just perfect. Potato was also perfectly cooked. I had planned on a fillet--my favorite. However, prime rib was on special, and that sounded really good. I like my beef medium well, so I asked for an end cut. Since it appeared we were the first customers there, I assumed I would get first dibs. However, when it arrived, it was a middle cut, which had been finished off on a grill or in a pan. It was done, but it was tough! I should have stuck with the fillet. read more

Had some good food there in the past. Then new owners came on the scene. Maybe it was a rocky start. I was served a cool to cold steak. Hmmmm. But I did have some really good steak there in the past. read more

Seriously one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at! The Prime Rib is off the charts amazing! It's a great getaway that also offers an incredible view of the Spring River. If you get the chance, book a room at the Biggers BNB. The rooms are beautiful & the breakfast made by Paula will keep you coming back. They even have Mimosa's & Bloody Mary's! The owners, Greg & Layla, will treat you like family. read more

First time eating here and it was pretty good. Wife had a 6oz filet and she loved it. My ribeye was good as well. Has a great view. read more

Good steak dinner. Friendly staff. Nice views. Reasonable prices for food and drinks.

Amazing dining experience!! Food was delicious, presentation was 5 Star. Beautiful inviting atmosphere only added to a great meal. Try the Calamari!! Steak was cooked to perfection, sides were "down home" delicious. The young lady that waited on us covered 4 other tables and we always felt as if we were her only customers. She did an amazing job. You must plan a dinner at The Bluff!! read more

The bed and breakfast is the worst ever we've experienced. I do not recommend. It is the same management and they treated us horribly. Will never go back We didn't even get offered breakfast although they took our money. I'm very hard to get upset but they managed to push my buttons and try to turn it on me the paying customer. The walls were thin and the guy next door snored all night. Don't waste your money there. read more

This restaurant is attached to the Biggers Bed and Breakfast. We have eaten here a couple of times over the years and haven't been disappointed. In a very rural area where you don't find big city cuisine and fancy restaurants, this is a good option for the celebratory dinner or special "date night" out. Even before Sharp County went fully wet several years ago, one could have a good steak dinner with a glass of wine. The ambiance is cozy, with the main dining area in a windowed section looking out over the bluff and the river. Our service has always been attentive; the food has been very good. We've had the prime rib, served as ordered, which is a plus for those of us who enjoy rare to medium rare. If you are in the area and would like a little more than fast food or country cooking, this is definitely an option. read more

Great food! Excellent service! Had the prime rib, garlic seasoning added flavor, with salad & backed potato. Hubby had Mahi-mahi, salad & potato. House wines were great, only $3.99!! Will eat here again when back in this area. read more
