To be honest they don't need an excuse to come here. As I type this sipping another beautifully made latte (skinny of course, got to watch the figure!) mum is sat reading a free paper and dad is regaining us about how much this place is compared to Mosquito, a rival shop. Oooh, he's picked sides already! They had a chat with our waitress (who's new, they spotted this since they know everyone else by name in here!) and then argued about having to find out what roast this place uses hut not having the relevant equipment to make it at home. None of this has any baring on the coffee but it gives you an idea of the ambience of this place - relaxed and so engrained in life here after a year with the regulars that it's won a young business award already. Coffee is still as good as ever ;) time to try their soon to open second shop, stay tuned!

They look very professional, and right up there with the big guys. I hope they give the Costa up the road a run for their money. They offer only a small selection of sandwiches and Panini's, but the choices are nice. I had a tomato, ham, and cheese Panini, and my husband had a brie, bacon, and mango chutney one. They were both delicious. They do a great selection of cakes and desserts here as well, and they are definitely on a par with what you would find served in both big shops like Costa and other independent ones that do homemade treats. My husband had tiffin and I had cappuccino cake--which was more like a fudge with a biscuit layer in it than a cake. So tasty, but oh so rich. The prices here were reasonable, and I really enjoyed having lunch here rather than the usual Costa which was what we had planned when got off the bus and saw it ... This was much preferable!

This is probably because I can be a bit indecisive at times, at least I think I can :-) Firstly you have to select which type of bread you want from a choice of half a dozen or so different options. You then need to choose your filling. This is usually the easy bit as there is always a 'sub of the day' which is much cheaper than the other options. I like most of their fillings so I usually opt for the cheaper option. You then have to choose which salad items you want, which sauces and condiments, do you want it toasting, do want a 6 incher or the full foot (no really missus) and so on. It's usually worth the effort as the sandwiches are more often than not very tasty and as you can choose every aspect of their manufacture you don't have to worry about biting into something you don't like.

Phone wasn't answered despite repeated calls and during the time I was there waiting the phone was constantly ringing and being ignored. Seating was empty bar one person. When we did get food, wedges were soggy from sitting in the bag for a while and food was warm at best. No refund given, not even for delivery expense after collecting it myself. Will not be getting any business from myself in the future.
