I told her I'd like to order one of the cakes below. She asked, "What flavor would you like?" while peeking around the glass at me, and I said, "Well, let me see... oh, you have peach cobbler, that sounds interesting." Around this moment within seconds, another lady walks up behind me while I was choosing my other flavors and tells the cashier she wants to order two peach cobblers. Instead of telling her to wait, the cashier just starts to service her! Meanwhile, I'm left standing there as they continue to talk at the register. At first, I was going to wait, but then I realized I just got cut in line because neither of them wanted to wait five seconds for me to choose my flavors. How rude. There was also already another client in there ahead of me, probably waiting for her pre-order cake. As I took a step back and looked around, even she gave me a look like she completely understood what just happened. That was what made me officially decide to leave. I was going to buy at least a few cakes for myself and my kids, but instead, I walked out. I will not reward this terrible service.

WOW!! I dont usually take time to write reiews - but this is a SCREAMING REVIEW to anyone looking for a baker - I cant recommend the blooming bakery enough!! I had to write... long story short - I needed something special for my husbands birthday and had no idea what I wanted to do. All i knew was i wanted it to be better than a grocery store, local bakery cake. I wanted something over the top AMAZING. I was at a bridal show for my sister when I saw the samples a baker was handing out at one of the booths. Ive had so many cakes that looked amazing, but tasted mediocre at best so I wasnt expecting much, AND to think I almost threw the sample away. I just took it to be nice to the sweet looking lady handing them out. She looked so happy to share her samples I couldnt say no. I took a bite of a banana flavored sample cake and stopped in my tracks. Im not exaggerating .. I stopped in my tracks. It was the most flavorful, moist, perfectly just sweet enough cake ive ever had. Im not kidding, sorry mom... but it was te best. I tasted everything she had to share that day (against my diet rules). I told her what I was looking for and after she took time to find out what my hubby's interests are - I gave her a deposit and with-in a few weeks had the cake delivered. Words cannot describe the look of amazement when my husband found out that it was a cake and not some sort of figure/statue I bought to add to his collection of memorabilia. He still talks about it to this day and shows pictures to everyone that mentions anything about a cake. We just ordered another cake from them for my daughters 13th bday and cant wait to see the look on all of her friends faces when they bring it out. I know it will be the coolest cake any 13 yr old has ever gotten. Its going to be this gorgeous fairy girl type of thing on top of a wood stump - ok, it may not sound that cool, but im telling you, email the blooming bakery and ask for pictures..its GORGEOUS and I think any teen girl would LOVE it. If youre looking for something STUNNING , that will taste AMAZING!! Call call call the blooming bakery. I hit the "jackpot" with them and if youre lucky enough to get a hold of the owner directly, she cant help but make sure its an extra special moment. Found Melanie online she was extrodinary throughout the whole process! My niece's quince was a magical event! Melanie was amazing in Helping us reach our deadline and working with our busy schedules to get everything done on time even working with us to do the cake testing. All of her flavors are delicious and I love that she can mix almost anything together! The cake was extraordinary!!! My niece feel in love with a cake from a magazine and Melaine bought the cake to life Exactly as we wanted!!! Beautiful and it tasted amazing!!! It was everything we could have hoped for! I needed a cake for my sons first birthday party and only had about two weeks to find someone and I'm glad I found Melanie! The cake was amazing - way beyond what I had asked for! She even made a cute smash cake for my baby! I only sent Melanie one picture and she did the rest! She really knows what she is doing and she is super easy to work with. She's great on communication and was exactly on time. Her cakes are affordable.. Some others I looked at were easily double the cost! The taste was amazing as well! With an extremely short warning time (literally 10 days or so), Melanie made us the best wedding cake EVER. We are skydivers, and she managed to recreate our parachutes and avatars, and the heart shaped formation we would do in the sky for our wedding on a 3-tear blue sky cake.
