Ben is definitely not a doctor of my blinds. He came in & was supposed to give a "free estimate" but instead he dismantled several blnds & then said the motors were bad & he didn't put everything back he just left & said he had to look for parts. I called & texted several times & he would get back to me with anger that he couldn't find the motors. After a couple of months he returned my call & said he found the motors. I called Park City Blind & they came up & fixed the blinds & said the blind doctor didn't need to dismantle them to fix them & it was fixable from the program. He was very professional and always maintained contact with me throughout the process of selection, ordering, shipping, payment, and installation. I bought from The Blind Doctors when we built my home. I think they are truly blind! The measurements were wrong and they would not fix them. I had to report them to the Better Business Bureau. It would have been better to order from Lowe's or Home Depot. read more

I made a few calls before I ended up calling the blind doctor on 11/18 I scheduled appointment for 12/9 to clean and repair my blinds on the morning of 12/9 I had been putting this off for some time so when this date was getting closer I was excited to have my blinds white once again and had a couple repairs needing also done well needles to say the morning came and gone and the afternoon also no phone call from the blind doctor so I thought I would call the guy no answer made up to five calls left messages and then I sent two email few hours later I did get a email from the guy saying I didn't have you on my schedule ! truly I feel not only is this guy blind and bad bussiness person and doesn't know how to use a tool to write in /stroke of a key to schedule appointment I wouldn't use the blind doctor he truly is blind if he can't see all the complaints ...Alert don't be blind sided to. read more

I called another blind repair and they charged $65 to repair my type of blinds but I would need to bring it into their store. So, when I called The Blind Doctors and told them what kind of blinds I had and what needed to be repaired, and they quoted $55 to do it AND come to my home to do it AND confirmed that this amount included the $20 they charge to come to my home, I was ELATED! But, after he took a very long time to do the repair, then charged me $95, I wondered if I should have taken them to the first place. Note to self (and others): get the quote in writing BEFORE they do any work so the cost doesn't change. read more

I called the Blind Doctors about 7 days before Christmas. My dog had destroyed several sets of blinds and we are renting, so I needed them repaired asap. He came to my house and measured the blinds that needed fixing. He said it would be a week or two to get the parts in. Today is Feb 21st. The company will not call me back. I have spoken to someone one time and he said he just got a shipment in so he needed to check it and call me back. I have STILL not heard back from them. I called today again and I am still waiting to hear back. Worst service ever! We wanted to use these guys because they are a mobile service and I didn't need to take my blinds down and leave our home exposed to get them repaired. I guess it doesn't matter because I am still going to have to anyway. 2 months later! Im sorry, but that is an AWFUL way to deal with customers! If he lost my info, why couldn't he just say he needed to come remeasure? But instead avoids us all together? Very unhappy! read more

I called and made an appointment for a Saturday morning and they called me that morning to tell me they had problems and couldn't come, but rescheduled an appointment for Monday morning. After waiting till about 11:30 am for them to arrive, I finally called to see if they were still coming to get my blinds. The owner couldn't believe they hadn't shown up yet and told me he would call his employees to find out where they were and then call me back. Well I waited around until 2:00 for them to show up or get a phone call, like he had promised, but I finally had to leave. I never once received a phone call to apologize for standing me up and wasting more than half my day!! I called them and of course they did not answer, so I left a message to tell them how disappointed I was in their service and what a poor way to run a company! And I never heard back!! If this is the way they treat their customers, I would advise you to hire someone else!! They are a JOKE!! read more
