We purchased our fence from them in 1998. This winter I broke a top rail. Went into their shop to get a replacement rail and it was no longer being made. But their employees (especially Junior) wanted to find a solution. While it took them a little while to figure out how to modify the new construction to meet our fence- they did it and it worked perfectly. My quote was not an itemized list so how was I supposed to know what I received? Yet you must sign for it. I gave a detailed list of what I needed at the time of the quote and a computerized drawing (to scale) of my needs. I was shorted some items and given extra of others. I didn't mind being shorted because I could change my plan with little regret but when I returned the few "extra" parts... I was only given 50% of what I had paid for them. My contract says that a 15% restocking fee was warranted. Why was I only given 50%? I was given the answer because it was a "self-install job." Unless you use them to install your products... they consider you less than human. I hope I never have to use this business again. I do not recommend them. read more

Quality fencing material but the business is operated so poorly that I wish I would have gone with another company. Originally quoted $2k for install. Called 4 weeks later and the exact same install price jumped to $4.4k. The price increase was allegedly due to "gas prices"... simply ridiculous. Installers then showed with without sufficient material and rescheduled for another 3 weeks out. Fence is finally installed now-but I just discovered they cut through a significant amount of roots and killed a 30 foot tree which I now have to pay MORE to have removed. Do not go through Trent at Vinyl Industries unless you want to pay over 200% of your original quote! read more

They conducted themselves with integrity and honesty and I'll never stop referring them to everyone I know. What a mess these guys leave. The fence was built well but they left concrete dust, cuttings from building the fence and other assorted crap all over the place. I feel like after spending $1300 dollars the least they could do is bust out a broom and clean their work area. The fence looks great and is built to specs. read more

We had a great experience with Vinyl Industries. Some of our neighbors referred them to us and we contacted a couple other vinyl fence companies to make sure we had competing bids. Vinyl Industries was significantly lower than any other bid. While I'm not one to just go with the cheapest bid, we were very impressed with the salesman, Ryan, who we felt was thorough and understood what we wanted. He also had excellent communication skills and responded to questions very promptly. When the day came to install the fence the crew showed up on time and took two days to set all of our posts. We were installing about 200' of fence line. I previously used little yard flags to mark all of my sprinkler heads to help the installers know where they are and to protect my sprinkler system. Only one of the heads was in the way and they carefully relocated a few inches away neatly. But the biggest surprise was when they showed up four days earlier than scheduled to finish our fence. They did this so they could start on our neighbors fence the next week. The fence looks amazing and we've received a few compliments from neighbors who also were impressed with the crew. read more

My new fence looks amazing. The price was fair, too, especially considering the 12'-wide gate. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves, too. During installation, they would knock on the door and let me know if they had a question or decision to make to see what I'd prefer. Everyone I worked with on this project was very nice and helpful. The quoter usually got back to me a little later than promised, but he always got back to me. Even if that were an inconvenience, it would still be well worth it for the great fence they installed. read more

They have redeemed themselves.... Or should I say, Craig redeemed my faith in the company! And I'll be honest with you the company is more of a 4 star review and Craig is more of a 6 star review. I had more wind damaged this past weekend. It wasn't as bad as the windstorm of 2011, but I did have a bunch of stuff blow out of the construction site a few doors down from my home and it took out a gate and a 12 foot section of fence. I was expecting VI to come and fix it and leave another mess (and take 6 weeks to get the work done) but they were smart and sent Craig. He not only was a complete professional (and a nice guy) but he got the work done in less than a few days. Nice work guys and great job Craig!!! read more

Wow is all I can say.. Let's cover a few things, Schedule- not only did they not show up on time but they didn't even show up on the right date to do my fence. The best part is when they did show up the crew had no idea what the fence plans were and they had half the supplies needed for work that day. Called the office and got nothing but the run around. Lies- In the contract we sign it states there is a fee if they need to hand dig the holes, which sounds reasonable as the install manager advised legally they are not allowed to use machines to close to utilities or they could get fined, so as we are eating lunch watching the crew I notice they have there ground machine digging all the holes for every post, then they try to bill me and additional 300 for hand dug holes. I call the office and of course we are treated like we are lying, up until I sent the owner a photo and video of his crew lying and fraudulently billing me for something they did not do by hand. No apology nothing just oh ok we won't charge that then. Even after I was told I would not be charged for the holes the accounts receivable Karen kept trying to collect fees I did not owe. The fence was installed horrible, we don't have a hill but when you look at the fence it walks up like stairs and all they said was we could try to fix it but the bottom may not look right. That's your answer for your horrible work? I had put half down prior to install which is fine, the day the fence was done they tried to collect three times, I advised there was an issue with the install and that I was not paying the hand holes that they never dug. This dragged out and we finally came to an agreement, I authorized them to run the next payment and they forgot to do so and then threatened me with a property lien, when they (Karen) was the one who didn't do there job. This is a horrible company from the ground up. I can't think of one nice thing to say about them. They will cut corners and try to charge you extra every chance they get. We are looking to put a fence around our cabin and I can assure you this company WILL NOT be hired ever again. read more

Wouldn't recommend this company. Had them come out to repair damage to my fence. They did a poor job with the repair...looked bad. I tried to get with Matt or Robert to get it fixed right and neither of them would respond. Crazy thing is that it was Matt's vehicle that did the damage to my fence in the first place. It cost me $650 to get the fence fixed right. Very disappointed with them as I have done business with them many times before. read more

The material product is great, but customer/technical service poor. Details: 1) Technical person completely misled us on post spacing...it isn't 84" center to center...they didn't account for the screws, 2 side securement pieces...those combined with slats spanned greater than 84" and had to have one of the slats shaved down for the entire span of the fenced property. 2) Didn't deliver the gate hardware with delivery and then when we requested it they gave us the wrong one, and now there is no willingness to work with us to exchange it for the correct one (receipt got lost, but still no exchange even when it is brand new and they screwed up in the first place). 3) Pallets had nails exposed and marked up some of the material visually...pretty obvious to the eye. 4) Customer Service is just difficult and not willing to work with customers if there are issues...refer to #2. 5) Oversold me on material and won't take it back for refund (within 2 months of purchase, brand new, no damage). I like the product but the Customer Service is seriously lacking...hope this helps others and them to figure it out. read more

I recently built a home in Heber City and was looking to purchase a fence that surrounds my property. I requested a quote from Vinyl industries and Trent came, provided an quote and then provided the contract. Upon starting the installation, they placed the stakes and concreate and I was then told the measurements were incorrect from the quote and the fence would not be in the same area as we had discussed and agreed to. I was then told I would need to pay an additional $446 to correct this mistake made by the company and to put the fence in the correct place. I was even told if I did not pay it would be removed. Needless to say, I would avoid this company and the way they do business. read more

The fence looks great. We love the way it turned out. A couple of things that was a bummer wa that we leveled out our yard before they did the fence as we were putting in sprinklers. We were hoping they would have left it in the same shape but there are areas where there are piles of dirt that we will have to even out again. They also left trash in the back yard. I had an appointment for 10:00 am for a quote took a half a day off work waited until 11:30 before I called to ask where their rep was. They told me they were not sure where he was they would give him a call and call me back later. I told them I lost a half a days wages to be here and they told me maybe he forgot what day he was supposed to be here. I said does that happen a lot and they said he was only coming to give me a quote something more important might have came up. Then asked if I still wanted them to call me back. When I said if you can't make an appointment for a quote how could I trust them to get the work done. Then they said so yes or no should we call you back. I said ummm no thanks, and they hung up with apologizing or even saying good bye. read more

These folks installed a fence for me two years ago . The gates have simply fallen apart. They did repair one of the gates last year and did not charge us. Their repairman told me the fencing was an inferior product which we did not know . After spending $8,000 for the fence a second gate is falling apart. Fencing on our block was done by vinyl industries as a neighborhood deal. The company neglected to match the fencing with a preexisting home on the block who already had their fence installed which will lead to mismatched fencing. This was done knowingly by vinyl industries in order to cut costs by using their own distributers and not matching what was already done in the neighborhood. Very poor business practice when dealing with neighbors. read more

I just had a 325 foot chunk of fence installed with a gate. Install went great, Travis and his helper (the installers) were very informative and nice. They worked hard to make sure it was done right and property was respected. They said they would install it on a certain day and showed up that day. Came back a week later to install the rails and slats. I had one issue that I figured was okay dealing with. Because of my land slope, the gate rubbed on the ground when fully opened. I mentioned it to the crew but figured I was okay dealing with it since the land was sloped, not really their problem. A few days later, Travis called me back and told me that the new gate was built and inch or so smaller on the botom to fix the dragging issue, and he would be installing it that day. I was shocked, and appreciate Travis and Vinyl Industries for going the extra mile. read more

I am only rating this company at a one because I have to give them that just to write this review. After setting up a time with a rep on the phone he never showed up. I did not even receive a curtesy phone call to reschedule or inform me that he was running late. This company obviously does not want business therefore I have taken my business elsewhere. read more

My vinyl fence came loose after a recent storm a month ago. I contacted Vinyl Industries and on February 24th Craig N. came out to diagnose the problem. First, he called when he was going to be five minutes later than he had originally told me. A+ for that. Secondly, he discovered the source of my problems quickly and professionally, a rotted post due to a damaged sprinkler line that had evidently loosened the post over time. I appreciated that he communicated with me and kept me informed at what he was looking at and was finding as well as educating me on the soil and area since I had recently purchased the house. A+ again. Once diagnosed he scheduled a return visit to replace the post and restore the fence once the utilities marked their lines. A couple of day later he called and said another large storm with wind was supposed to be coming in and he wanted to come out sooner than scheduled to secure the fence and replace the post so more damage would not occur. I am thankful that I had someone that was thoughtful and conscientious enough to save me possible additional damage to my fence. With a cold wind blowing Crain N. replaced the post, fixed the fence, marked where the sprinkler line was damaged and checked my loose gates for me! In addition he said he would have an irrigation specialist contact me to repair the broken sprinkler pipe. I am grateful for the positive experience I had with Craig N. and Vinyl Industries should be thrilled that he represents the company so well. I was able to report back to my contractor that indeed Vinyl Industries can be recommended. I give Craig N. five stars and a big thank you. read more

I am very disappointed in this company. I got a bid in April to replace a small section of fence and gate. I wanted it done quickly because we have two dogs. I chose this company because the salesman reassured me that it was a small job that could be fit in during the evenings in the next week or two. I gave the 1/2 down deposit and was told they would be out in the next week to rip out existing fence and set new posts, then a week would have to go by before they could attach rails and new gate to posts. Two weeks went by. Nothing. I called company and they claimed that they were a month out?? I said I had texts from salesman discussing quicker timeline. They didn't care. They finally came out two weeks ago and ripped out the existing fence and placed posts. Last week they put in some of the fence slats. They are totally not level. And there is a huge gap in one section that isn't supposed to be there (the whole point of this thing was to keep in dogs and they knew that and it states in my contract a 0" clearance). There still is no gate. 7 weeks into this project and it's 1/2 done and the part done is not correct but I cannot get anyone out here to deal with it. So maybe by letting the world know this company stinks on social media they will get my problems taken care of! read more
