I chose Yachtsy because of the price point and you can book a captain with your boat. I wanted my friends and I to be able to sit back, drink, and relax during our voyage. Booking: Booking was super simple online. I selected the date, time, and online you have an option to select a captain. You don't get to choose who and be aware there's an additional price plus gratuity that won't be added to your online shopping cart. However, the price was minimal for the pleasure of having fun and not worrying about crashing someone else's boat! Before you sail: make sure you fill out all of the online forms. I had to do about 3, but it took only a few minutes and ensured everything was smooth for our departure. The boat: small, intimate, smooth, and fun. It is snug so if you have 6 adults that's about the max who can fit comfortably. We didn't have a lot with us, thank goodness, but keep that in mind if you have people + food + stuff for your trip. There was a Bluetooth speaker so my friend connected her phone and DJ'd the trip. Our captain was a young guy who was SO MUCH Fun and very chill. He helped to make our trip a success!

To start, we booked tickets online. Our adventure did not sell out so they called us and rescheduled for later the same day. When we arrived, we checked in under a tent that was set up at the end of small street along the water. The tent had some pirate themed items for sale. We waited there, on some benches, until our cruise was ready. Once on the ship tattoos and nicknames were given, stories were told, songs were sung and dances danced. There were battles with pirates, water cannons, treasure to be had all will cruising the waters of downtown Baltimore. Overall, a pretty cool adventure. Urban Pirates is definitely not cheap. My son, who is 8, really enjoyed the experience. My daughter, a middle schooler, had a little less fun. But there were kids older than her on our boat that were really into it. So, like a lot of things, you'll mostly get out of Urban Pirates what you are willing to put into it. Yaaaaar!

Through an associated corporation my family and I were granted access to a small tour through the factory and what a glorious day it was. The staff members were all welcoming and showered me in domino pizza jokes. Our tour guide was so knowledgable of everything going on. The factory itself was clean and free of ants and bugs. We were allowed to go onto the roof of the factory and see the Baltimore skyline from right below the famous sign. From this day forward I will never purchase another bag of sugar that doesn't have the domino sugar label on it (or refil my domino container with the Walmart brand my essential sugar, because I learned it's the same sugar!)

Went for a sunset cruise for a friend's birthday on 6/29 and it was so nice. The ride is roughly 1.5hrs and you essentially loop the Potomac at Georgetown. It's BYOB, music and food so I'm just rating the views and service. There was a bathroom on board but I didn't use it. The captain was very kind and didn't bother us much outside of giving us the safety precautions and telling us to have a good time. I would definitely do this again.

There is nothing better than being on the water during a gorgeous sunset and the service he is offering is perfect just for that! He provides cool drinks but you may bring your own food and other beverages of choice. There is also a bluetooth speaker provided to play your own music. His sailboat is very spacious and allows for your guest of six to comfortably be in or on the boat at all times. I didn't want to get off but our time was over. I really appreciate his expertise and keeping us safe during the ride.
