Google said there's nothing they can do. The good news is I just found out there're at least 6 units in this property are listed on Airbnb and simialr sites. The property manager, however, told me it's not allowed anymore during my tour in Aug.

The manager attributed the disappearance of my review to Google. However, it's hard to imagine that Google would actively monitor reviews on an average business page and delete a standard post within 24 hours without external interference. I'm currently in contact with Google support, but I'm not overly optimistic about the out.

I emailed the property company's general manager for my removed/missing Google review=. There's no reply yet. I will keep tracking

I had a conversation with the property manager again and got her acknowledgment of the lack notifications of the maintenance changes and delays. They replaced my fans with ordinary ones from other units today so I would call this issue an end. I understand it's a small team with only two people working there but this is another factor people need to be aware of before moving in.
Based on the explanation from the manager, I will have to reach out to RPM reputation team to understand why they blocked my reviews and potentially others' since new comments from my other accounts cannot even show up in the first place.

My Google review mysteriously disappeared within 24 hours of posting it. Meanwhile, a 5-star comment was posted from someone who's about to "leave." And seemingly coincidentally, the comment contradicted my negative experience. Well played! I hope you maintain this level of activity on Yelp. However, it seems that RPM Living, the property company, may have to put in more effort here, given their low 1.3-star rating. https://www.yelp.com/biz/rpm-living-austin-2#reviews as well as 1.07/5 rating on BBB https://www.bbb.org/us/tx/austin/profile/property-management/rpm-living-0825-90103865 (yes BBB also gave them warning for so many customer complaints)

If I could, I would give this property a negative star rating. DO NOT MOVE HERE unless you're ready to constantly chase after the inept property management, who easily ignore problems.
My bedroom and living room have been in constant disarray ever since I moved in over 30 days ago. The so-called "smart" fans and lights have been malfunctioning, turning on and off randomly without any control. I've reported this "haunted" experience to the property management multiple times, but their attempts to fix it have all failed. They merely switched the control signal channel, crossing their fingers that my neighbors wouldn't cause any more interference, without addressing the root problem. Eventually, they had to replace the fixtures with old-school ones, despite my apartment being advertised as a fancy and remodeled unit. However, they kept delaying the installation due to various excuses. To make matters worse, I had to continually reach out to the office to find out why no one showed up at my apartment as scheduled, as they never bothered to inform me of these changes. Interestingly, the property team often boasts about their respect and kindness towards the residents. Apparently, devaluing others' time is a virtue in their eyes.
What truly prompted me to write this long-awaited review is my experience today. When I told Tailor, the property manager, that I could only give them one last chance because I couldn't endure this frustrating situation any longer, she responded by sniffing and rolling her eyes, treating my concerns as a joke. It's clear that I'm the one suffering while this "kind, respectful, and empathetic" (in her own words) property manager chills in her well-functioning office, merely marking my unresolved requests as "completed" and moving on.
What I've mentioned is just the tip of the iceberg of problems I've encountered since moving in:
1. 40-min move-in delay
2. Covered smoke detectors and water sprinkler
3. No mailbox keys
4. No access to the building
5. Toilet dirts and rusts
6. No bathtub drain gate
7. Fridge stains and germs
8. Broken water dispenser
9. Disordered fans and lights
10. Broken switches
11. Stained AC separator
I've lived in both cheaper and more expensive apartments, within and outside of Texas, but I've never had to invest so much time and energy into dealing with issues that should have never been there for such an extended period. It's astonishing the property manager keeps calling these problems as "normal" given some of them already risked my health and security, let alone the large number.
To preserve my sanity, I'll stop here. If you like, read other reviews on Apartments.com, apartmentratings, and so on, or visit the property to experience it firsthand, you'll soon find out the unworthiness yourself. read more
