UPDATE:

Six months later, and the cabinet covers are still peeling off--clearly, patience isn't rewarded here. Management continues to deceive residents; I was explicitly told renewal rates wouldn't decrease, only to watch them drop by $300 just two weeks after I was pressured into signing a new lease. Their priority remains clear: profits over people.
The promised construction completion is now six months overdue, adding insult to injury. Instead of addressing longstanding issues, Alexan Riverside continues nickel-and-diming residents with hidden fees and misleading statements. Prospective residents beware--expect more empty promises than genuine improvements.

Initially attracted to Alexan Riverside for its modern amenities, including complimentary EV charging, my experience has taken a negative turn due to unexpected fees and stringent policies implemented by the management. Contrary to the advertising, the EV charging, once a free service, now incurs charges, undermining one of the key reasons for my choice to live here. Furthermore, residents are compelled to pay a $5 monthly fee for an app essential for accessing community doors, a convenience turned into an unnecessary expense.
The imposition of a mandatory $25 monthly valet trash service, which many of us find superfluous, adds to the frustration. This, coupled with the threat of fines for not adhering to strict community guidelines, paints a picture of a management more focused on profit than resident satisfaction. The question of what the $50 community fee actually covers remains unanswered, adding to the growing concerns over transparency and value.
These changes not only reflect poorly on the management's commitment to resident satisfaction but also hint at a worrying trend towards nickel-and-diming residents at every possible opportunity. It is disheartening to see Alexan Riverside shift from a resident-focused to a profit-driven approach, overshadowing the otherwise pleasant living experience here. read more
