5 stars for cleaning, but 3 for management The cleaning itself was very, very thorough. We hired them for move-out cleaning of our one-bedroom apartment in Berkeley and two very nice ladies did a great job. I wish we hired them when we moved in, as the place is pretty old. However, scheduling a time was quite stressful. Texting the available number is probably your best bet over calling or messaging via yelp. The management kept rescheduling on me. When it rolled around to our set time and day, I asked if they were almost at my place, and they said there was an emergency and that I would need to reschedule. I understand that things come up for people, but she should've notified me proactively instead of me asking 15 minutes past my set appointment time. Also, when I scheduled my appointment, I sent them pictures of my place to get a quote, and they said it'd be $180-200, and the two ladies ended up charging me $220, weird considering I already pre-cleaned a bit. Overall, they did a really great job at cleaning itself. But if you're on a strict timeline (like moveout) or on a strict budget, probably not worth it. read more

From the initial scheduling of my appointment until the job was completed, communication with Super-Cleaning Service Louisville (Suzanne, Marie-Christine and Dorina) through texts was incredible. I received confirmation, a reminder of the appointment, notification there was a change of who would be cleaning for me to a follow up text when the job was completed to make sure everything was acceptable after Maryuti left and to make sure they could address any problems or concerns that I might have had. For the record, I had none. Super-Cleaning is very accommodating in scheduling, as I needed an evening or weekend appointment, which was no problem whatsoever. Maryuti was prompt, professional, and polite. I also appreciated the fact she brought her own cleaning supplies. I was afraid in the timeframe I booked she would only be able to clean a minimal area or two, but she worked faster than I could have imagined yet was extremely thorough, thereby, being able to do more than I expected. The house had not been thoroughly cleaned for quite some time, so she had her work cut out for her and she truly delivered. The baseboards and vents were extra dirty, as was the ceiling fan in the kitchen and there was a night and day difference after they were cleaned properly. Maryuti was very quiet the entire time which was appreciated as this was one of the days my sister was working from home so she could continue to work uninterrupted while the house was being cleaned. I would absolutely recommend Super-Cleaning to my friends. read more

Mirla and crew are indeed the best house cleaning! I've used them twice across the years to clean my place. Mirla's incredibly responsive over the phone, accurately quoted price and time estimates, and left my place spotless. I'd definitely recommend her to folks in the East Bay looking for a house cleaning. read more

Mirla and her partner came for a one-time cleaning. We gave them a few hours to themselves and came back to the house looking spotless. Their attention to detail is amazing - bathtub scrubbed, refrigerator shelves clean, shelves neatly arranged (but nothing out of place), dust removed all around. Not to mention, they came by on relatively short notice, and on a holiday, no less. The price they offered was fair. Mirla and her crew are super nice, honest, and accommodating. We'd go to them if we decided to start having cleaners regularly. read more

Mirla and her team are the best! My 1920's, 20-layers-of-paint Berkeley apartment always feels grimy to me no matter how hard I try to keep it clean, but Mirla manages to make it feel sparkling! They're also super nice, have very competitive rates as mentioned elsewhere (I originally found them just by comparing rates of like 8 different people on Yelp, not even really based on reviews), and they are EFFICIENT! I don't know how they clean so thoroughly so quickly, but I love that they don't drag it out. My place is pretty small so we have a flat rate situation going, but I get the impression that if you were paying hourly they still wouldn't dawdle. Great job with kitchen (fridge or oven upon request, but they did some dishes I accidentally left in the sink, and took out the trash!), bathroom, floors (moved all the furniture), dusting (blinds, sorting through all my little piles of things), and the moulding and other gross corners. Plus Mirla texts, which I also appreciate. read more

Mirla and her team have come to clean our home twice now and both times she's done a fantastic job. Her team and her are quick and thorough. She asks whether you want the fridge other specific items cleaned, which I appreciate. Our original 1939 hardwood floors are gleaming clean by the time she is done! Outside of her work, she is a very nice person and I am glad to welcome someone like that into our home. read more

We were referred to this company through a Nextdoor post because we have decided to look for a cleaning service. Basically wanted to try them out for a "deep" cleaning for the first visit and then 1x to 2x a month for routine cleaning. We messaged the business for a quote that was inclusive of the basics of our place, but they were hesitant to provide an upfront amount. I thought a range would have been appropriate and they later provided that. The 2 girls showed up a few minutes ahead of schedule and brought their own supplies. Overall, the job was decent, however I expected a higher level of detail based on what we paid ($120 for hour 40 minutes) They basically stuck to the highlights of what was important in my list and offered nothing more as far as general tidying. Floors generally include baseboards, which they didn't touch. Picked up and moved things like a rug and didn't put it back in its place. Cleaned the fridge interior but not the freezer. Unplugged things to clean and didn't plug them back in. Used tissue on the floor. You get the picture. I expected that they would go above and beyond with the upfront, but they didn't. Will shop around for other services. read more

Mirla and her team have been cleaning my apartment about once a month for the past year. They do an incredible job and they are very thorough. My wood floors are positively gleaming. As other have mentioned, her rates are very competitive. She doesn't do the fridge or oven unless you specify and then there is usually an extra charge because of the extra time it takes. Keep in mind Mirla and her team provide their own cleaning supplies unless you provide your own. So that is a cost to them in addition to their time. If you consider this, her rates are extremely competitive. I forgot to mention that after the first time cleaning, Mirla found an earring that I lost over 2 years ago. I had searched and searched for it and she found it right near where I had searched. So when I say she is thorough, she is very thorough! It was so great to see that earring again as it had a lot of value and its one of my favorites. read more

I hired Mirla and her team to help me get the house ready for a party I was having. I, unfortunately, wasn't there to meet with the team before they started cleaning, but my partner was there to let them in. They did a wonderful job of vaccuuming, cleaning the bathrooms and kitchen, making the bed, everything. There were a few sneaky corners with cobwebs missed, but as I said before, I wasn't there when they arrived to actually point them out and specify that these corners needed extra attention. I was REALLY pleased with the amazing job they did in the bathrooms. Also, they were able to come on the day I requested! Even though it was pretty short notice. (Less than 5 days notice) They are a little on the pricey side ($120), but affordable enough for me to hire them a few times a year. Would hire again. read more

Julia Najera and team were fantastic. Thorough, responsive, good price.

There was a major lag between request for quote and reply. Then additional lags when trying to coordinate. Seems English may not be a first language which I was willing to overlook, but the days between responses is truly unprofessional. read more

Nadiane's team is great. They bring everything they need and when they leave the house sparkles--baseboards, window sills, everything. She is also an organizer. Our 17 year old son's room was transformed from an overwhelming mess. Impressive. Flexible schedule. Nadiane Almeida de Oliveira (510) 672-8979 read more

So far I've used Mirla and her team twice to clean my home. First for a major deep clean and then for a follow up monthly cleaning. Their work each time was impeccable, no corner was left untended. Considering that I have a small child and haven't been able to thoroughly clean in awhile, they had their work cut out for them and truly delivered. I highly recommend! read more

The reason for four stars is mainly for scheduling. We originally scheduled for 9am morning but a day before that Mirla texted to ask if we can change to afternoon, and we agreed to 2:30pm. However, the day of they were about an hour late. There was a miscommunication with our address but they had both my boyfriend and my phone numbers. And they only called to check when they were already an hour late. Overall satisfied with the cleaning. We only had a kitchen clean and refrigerator cleaning. My boyfriend had to point out some spots that they missed (areas in and around the sink, etc.). Their pricing was also the best among all the other cleaners that I consulted. I may use them again. read more

Mirla came to our house on very short notice as part of a team of three. Their price was very reasonable and they did great work. Highly recommended. We will be calling them again! read more

Mirla and her team are WONDERFUL! The 2 women that cleaned our home were super nice and efficient. Definitely will be booking again.

Excellent. Mirla was very prompt, professional, and cleaned everything spotlessly. She and her assistant were also very quiet, which allowed me to get a lot of work done from home while they were cleaning. At the end, I noticed a cobweb below the kitchen counter and Mirla immediately removed it and went above and beyond cleaning that area. She and her assistant cleaned all of the places I asked for and also exceeded my expectations by airing out the rugs and doormat, cleaning the hallway, and even cleaning behind the oven. Plus, the rate is incredibly reasonable in comparison to other cleaning services in the East Bay. Highly recommended. read more

This was the best cleaning I have ever had done! Our house is not so big (1200sq ft located in berk hills) but it was spotless. My husband came home a few hours later and was so impressed. We have had multiple services but this is definitely the best one so far! read more

This is an excellent cleaning service and customer service! They did an amazing job! Cleaned my apartment in two hours and did an amazing job! They treated my house as if it was their own - the attention to detail was spot on! Highly recommend read more

I have used several cleaning services (one was a Task Rabbit--don't do it!) in the past few months, and The Best House Cleaning has definitely been the best. Mirla always gets back to me in a timely manner and has been very flexible about arranging times to clean my condo, and usually at the last minute. Her crew does a very good job in a very short time, and the rates are reasonable. Save yourself the stress of cleaning yourself or of dealing with flaky cleaning companies. I highly recommend them! read more

I was moving out of a rental and needed to clean a four-bedroom, two-bath house within a few days to move-in ready form. Mirla got back to me by text within minutes of calling her and she quickly confirmed her company could take care of the job. Her team was on time, courteous and offered a fair price. The job took about an hour longer than expected but I don't hold that against them as it was a tough job. The house looked great -- I was especially impressed with the oven and refrigerator, which were caked in years of mess, and the landlord was impressed too. Thanks Mirla and team. read more

Best House Cleaning provided an excellent quality service and was able to schedule with little notice. Mirla arrived with 2 additional ladies on time; they went straight to work and did a fantastic job on cleaning as a team. Rooms looked great afterword. Also, I can say they are honest: we had a variety of valuables and although they had opportunity, nothing went missing (thankfully) so I can vouch they are trustworthy. I should mention to keep English directions simple, Spanish would have been fine if I spoke it, but they understood me well enough and did what we wanted. They were very friendly and work hard, bravo! Many thanks!! read more

Mirla and her crew are truly the best house cleaners ever. She came with her team on short notice, she was flexible with her shcedule to figure out a time the would work best. She and her team were very sweet and professional and they did an amazing job cleaning my house and I have high standards. They went above and beyond what most other house cleaners do andit made a huge difference. I will definitely be calling Mirla on a regular basis. Thank you! read more

Mirla and her assistants did an amazing job! We are managing my MIL's rental property while she is overseas and needed someone to clean the house between tenants. Mirla was very nice and prompt. She was also extremely flexible, both with working around a moving crew and doing the cleaning out-of-order to accommodate a new tenant moving in a bit early. Really well priced, I actually think that she should charge more. She's THAT awesome. Thank you Mirla! I will definitely call you again. read more

Mirla was great! She brought one other person with her, Stefani. They were both very thorough. They cleaned the walls, ceilings, vacuumed every corner, cleaned the kitchen stove, refrigerator, etc. She even helped me clean the closet and take out ALL the garbage/crap from my boyfriend's room. The room has not been cleaned for years! But after Mirla's work, i can now move in with this guy. They charged a reasonable price too. read more

Mirla (owner)has been awesome with responding quickly as well as sending the perfect crew for cleaning my house. I have a 10 month old baby and I can say the cleaning deserves 5 stars. Mirla and her partner did an incredible job of cleaning my house - they were both prompt, enthusiastic and quite thorough! I am VERY picky about my house...if I wanted someone to just come in and do an ok surface clean I would do it myself, but Mirla and her assistant came on SATURDAY one day after I called for an estimate and did a top to bottom detailing that still has me singing her praises a week after her departure. I can't remember the last time my house looked this good. SHE MOVED THE FURNITURE and got the dust bunnies behind the bed. The stainless looks new - not a streak anywhere. Her price for a biweekly clean is a bit higher than the others we talked to, but I am happy to pay the price to know I have someone who cares about my house as much as I do! This is as good as it gets. I haven't used her long enough to comment on her reliability, but if this one time is any indication, she's a 10 star local business! read more

I called Mirla and she answered right away. She was very sweet and we arranged a cleaning date for the same week. Mirla couldn't come herself but she sent two very nice young women who came right on time. They did a great job! Everything was neat and sparkling clean. The rates were reasonable too. I will absolutely call on them again and I recommend them highly. Thank you Mirla. read more

Mirla is amazing! So sweet and reliable. We have tried several companies. Many flake on us or keep increasing the price. Mirla has never flaked on us. She cleans the inside of our fridge, our shutters, all our nicknacks. If you ask her to focus on an area she'll remember for next time. I highly highly recommend her! read more

Mirla and her team were supeheroes! My roommates and I were moving out of a house that had been passed down many generations of graduate students, and hadn't had a deep clean in quite some time. In less than 2 hours they scrubbed our kitchen and two full bathrooms from top to bottom. They also cleaned other areas of the house that were not in our original deal. 5 stars is not enough! read more

Mirla has cleaned my house several times now and has done a fabulous job! I went through three house cleaners in the last year and almost gave up, entirely frustrated by the billing errors, scheduling difficulties, lack of punctuality and attention to detail on the job. Luckily, I found Mirla's business card hanging around and decided to give her a try. She has been very accommodating in terms of scheduling the cleanings and is always on time. Mirla is a very hard worker, as in she breaks a sweat! She's extremely fastidious and on top of that a genuinely nice person. Thank goodness for Mirla! read more

Mirla and her helper were very thorough and very detail oriented. I highly recommend Mirla. Thanks Mirla!
