Before I talk about the food let me tell you about the ambiance. Classy, clean, cool - am I in NYC or Murray, KY?! And the music selection surprised me at every turn. Nick Drake? Yes, please! For starters, it was happy hour & wine was $7 a glass. The cab was delicious. A perfect selection, poured fresh table-side. The starter kale salad with fresh fennel bulb was a testament to the goodness of God's creation. I crave that salad daily. House-made pasta - need I say more? The chicken in my mushroom pasta dish was house-roasted, you could taste it! And the mushrooms were so fresh and fragrant- the way mushrooms should be eaten. The red/sauce sausage pasta my daughter got was just the right amount of spicy. The next day I mixed our two pasta leftovers together & that was a real treat! For dessert we had the flourless chocolate torte which was the perfect ending to the perfect meal. I'm already planning my next meal when I visit Murray next weekend! Oh, also! They used Oneida Michelangelo silverware - the fancy stuff my parents used at home growing up. So that was special
