Great little mead shop. My cousin brought me here because the last time I saw her, I took her mead, and she figured I would love it. And yup, she was right. Such a cute shop! I needed some bee-themed items as gifts, so based on the other Yelp reviews, this seemed like the perfect place. I was surprised how big the store was when I stepped inside. I truly believe they have sourced almost every bee item you can think of! From honey to lip gloss to blankets to kitchen utensils--they have it all! I ended up getting two different blankets as gifts. One was the last they had in stock and was a reasonable $25 for a full-size throw. The other one was a thick fleece and cost $35. The employee was very helpful in showing me different options and looking up stock availability in the store's system. Because I had another afternoon appointment, I wasn't able to spend as much time exploring the shop as I wanted to. However, I'll definitely "bee" back to check out some of their honey and check out future gift possibilities! Plus, I definitely want to support our local beekeepers, since native bee populations are essential for a healthy ecosystem. read more

We stopped in here as a pitstop on the way back from Maryland. We love to buy local honey and we're hoping to find that here. Boy did we! The whole store had things made with local honey- handmade soaps, fresh honey, mead, wine, bbq sauce, and more! The man working was very nice and helped us with anything we were looking for. His customer service was great! It has a nice small country store vibe but everything is bee themed. It's almost calming in there with the scents and the buzzing from the bees they have in a case so you can see them making honey. If you want to get in to bee keeping, they have supplies and info there to help get you started. There are a lot of cute bee themed items throughout the whole store so if you love bees this is for you. The handmade soaps were only $5 and smelled amazing! Some products were a bit pricey but worth it to support a small business. read more

Best BEE store EVER. The beekeepers who run this store are precious. LITERALLY. Beekeepers are keepers, ha get it? As a beekeeper, it's nice to know that there is a local store down the road that has everything possible that could help me out during the season. They have everything you need from frame slides to bee suits to even the delicious honey, they also have alcoholic honey beverages that are sweet! Honey does not raise your blood sugar levels unlike synthetic sugar or different types of substitutes. ALSO, I love their stickers and little trinkets!!! read more

I made a pledge to myself to purchase as many holiday gifts as possible from local businesses this year. The Bee Store was the perfect spot to find some unique gifts! I placed an order online during their Black Friday special for several Sweet Sophia Honey Jams and when I went to pick them up, I found lip balms and lip balm holder key chains to check a few more recipients off my list. The jam flavors and lip balm flavors offered were plentiful and there's really something for everyone. The cutest little store that is hidden away when it should be showcased! I found the store through a friend and being a bee lover I dragged my boyfriend along with me. I will definitely be coming back to buy some stress-relieving lotion and more orange blossom honey! They array of honey products range from lotion to wine to lip balm to baby products to regular old fashioned honey comb. With even an entire case of books to look at and an in-store beehive, this store is so cute and fun to look around. The nice woman working the day I went was very helpful and provided us with a fascinating story about how one time all the bees got out of the hive whilst customers were in store and had to be evacuated. Luckily, that wasn't my experience. She made the small store feel very at home and I loved her energy throughout our conversation. Can not fault her in any way. read more

Horrible owner . Super mean and yelled at a 14 mo old baby. Makes you feel super uncomfortable and watches you with his eyes. If your kids pick up anything he will come RIGHT behind you and put it back at the 44' angle it was lol. Look at his other bad reviews, he never apologizes and is super defensive. I am not a bee keeper but I love raw honey and I don't trust Safeway or Walmart to buy my honey. So excited to have this store open up in my neighborhood. My trip to the Bee Store was a learning experience. I learned about the different uses of honey. Different kinds of honey. The creamed honey was delicious! It's a cute little shop with home decor item as well. They have body scrubs, hand lotions, products for babies, and the list goes on. I went in to initially browse their selection of honey based products like their soap and badges and to also look at their bee trap they have inside. I went into the bathroom after I noticed a regular customer came out and did my business, I came out to find their cashier red in the face asking "what are you doing this isn't a public bathroom?!" I felt a bit confused because I've came in before and used their bathroom without any trouble and said "pardon me." I felt distraught because he also seemed angry at the regular customer that was in there, we both left immediately. read more

I got some awesome butter, a chapstick that within 24 hours has cured my chapped lips and not feeling dried out, a muscle cream that is awesome on sore parts or joints and lastly a ginger infused honey! I usually come here once or twice a week to buy bee products such as their lotion and charms. I thought they were a good company until I came in today, and the man yelled at me for using the bathroom. He informed that it's not a public restroom and glared at me while I looked through their fridge for Almond butter. Love this place. My son has allergies..... like MAJOR allergy issues and so I give him local honey as a daily regiment so that his body is introduced to local pollens so that he can build immunity thus allowing his allergies to not be quite as bad. So this store carries local honey in 3 different size bottles which is very convenient and at a fair price. Personally I just like how bright and open this store is. It's clean and organized and has some really nice products. I highly recommend. read more
