Came here looking for sea moss to help with my hormonal acne. The owner is super informative and…read morehelpful when I would ask questions. He is so nice and I could tell he cares and knows his stuff. I was eager to try sea moss as it has many benefits. I believe a jar was about $50. I bought one flavorless and was consistent with taking it orally and a week later I began applying it topically on my face. From my honest experience it helped calm down my cystic acne, but only when I began applying it topically. As for energy levels, more focus, overall better moods, etc.., it made a very subtle difference. My sister who was also taking it with me said that she felt a difference in her energy levels and felt "happier" / in a better mood. I think it just depends on each person. The taste was not bad at first but after a few times of taking it morning and evening (twice a day) I was not liking the taste. When it goes in the texture is gel / pudding like with no flavor but after you swallow it tastes like something that shouldn't be edible. I don't have the right words to describe the taste because it is 100% edible, just does not taste like it should be. There are also many different products at the store. I would recommend giving sea moss a try if it is something you're interested in because it helped me with what I was searching for, just not the other benefits it is supposed to have.

I'm a sucker for grilling and so found a few kitchen/grilling tools I decided I must have - a new grill spatula, a pair of grill tongs, a Jalapeño corer, and a fruit coring tool. Small Indian store located off of Maple Ave. I believe it used to be called "All World Spice" but…read morethey must have changed it to "Aditi Spice Depot". This store is part of a chain owned by the same guy. Includes Aditi Spice in Herndon, Amma Kitchen (in Herndon & Vienna), Aarathi Restaurant (not sure if they are still open...), all of which I have visited. I came here with my parents for the groceries. They have the rare south Indian gems (various Daily Delight products) that cannot be found in most of the other Indian stores, along with regular Indian groceries. It is completely out of the way, but sometimes a necessary trip. They also sell the usual items: produce, Indian snacks, pickles, etc. It's better to just come here for what you need and not the customer service, (unless you know the staff). One thing to note, this store is located in a very tight and potentially busy strip mall. While there is enough parking, it can be limited in the evening (from past experience).
