Others that were thick seemed real but tasted really bad and I never bought them again. But Honey Sarah's honey is not only real 100% untouched honey, it also tastes incredible. When the weather gets colder, it even hardens or crystallizes sometimes, which proves the honey is purely natural. All I had to do was put it in a warmer room or dunk the jar it into some warm water to get it back to normal. Their store is small but very clean and nice. The people there are very welcoming and kind, and let you taste samples of the different honey flavors. I first fell in love with the orange flavor, and now I'm starting to really love alfalfa and wildflower. To be honest, they all really taste good. The price may seem a bit pricier than others, but you feel confident that you are getting real nutritious honey with all the health benefits that honey naturally gives. In the end, it is worth it. When you buy this honey, don't expect the watery honey that has been heated or mixed with water or other syrups. Expect some thick and tasty goodness. I usually get the honey in glass jars and I leave it in my car so I can add honey to my different meals during the day. Sometimes I just snack on a scoop when I need something sweet (yet healthy). Then I visited Spice & Tulips, a chic Turkish and Mediterranean lifestyle boutique across the street from Zama Tea. Spice & Tulips rightfully deserves a Yelp review of its own. Nonetheless, I'm glad Tarkan sells Massey brand honey!! Most of the 11oz jars are of the sage honey variety, but I snapped up the last jar of eucalyptus honey. These trees are very common in my neighborhood. (Under pre-COVID circumstances, Tarkan's signature hospitality would offer a sample. He meticulously keeps clean demo/sampler containers for home chefs to smell, taste, discover new seasonings.) Already familiar with the taste of sage, I adventurously chose eucalyptus. Tarkan affirmed that my choice is the bolder of the two; the sage profile is very subtle. After getting home and unpacking the groceries, I grabbed a spoon, twisted off the lid to the honey jar, and indulged in a beautiful taste of semi-sweet caramel and a slightly crystal/granular texture... I couldn't really detect a distinct menthol flavor or taste. :) lovely!

They carefully opened up the wall where the hive was, made clean cuts, and neatly stacked everything they removed. Most importantly, they removed the honeycomb and bees without using any chemicals. It took just over a week for the rest of the bees to clear out (exactly what they said to expect), and they were ready to come back for follow-up if needed. Just know that they don't patch the wall right away--they leave it open for a couple of weeks to make sure all the bees are gone, and they let you know upfront that you'll need to handle repairs separately. Plan for that! What really stood out to me was how experienced and respectful they were--both to me and the bees. No poisons, no shortcuts. As someone who cares about the environment and didn't want chemicals inside my walls, this meant a lot. Bee Rooted knows what they're doing, and they do it right. 100% recommend!
