I think it was one of the best Caesar's I've ever had. The steak was cooked perfectly and the tail was huge! The potatoes were good but a little gummy (potato snob checking in. They were still edible and I finished them, no complaints.) There was some awkwardness in ordering my birthday dessert, however. The server that filled our waters when we were initially seated asked if we were celebrating anything - yes my birthday! She mentioned that I would get a brownie with ice cream on the house. Awesome! My favorite! I don't think this was communicated to our actual waitress. When I asked about the brownie she said "yeah it's a birthday thing, but I think I can make that happen". But.... It's my birthday :'( I felt like a jerk making some special request. My brownie came out without a candle. I overheard a woman at another table also celebrating a birthday and she got a candle with her birthday dessert. I hate to sound like an ungrateful pick me brat, but I wish this would have been communicated to our waitress. Having to ask about the brownie made me feel awkward. I can deal without a candle I swear!! But why wasn't it communicated to our actual server that we were celebrating? It's really all in the little details. But definitely not a make or break. A nice gentleman introduced himself as Christian, our server for the evening. He was quick with a smile and full of knowledge and energy. We placed our drink order and began to peruse the menu.
