On Saturday, Aug 12th at 2:35pm. I and my grandson stopped in for a late lunch. Having been a loyal patron of "The Beach" since it's opening week. I have to say that "The Beach" has run dry.. as far as Customer Service is concerned. Entering the restaurant. No One was at the host station when we entered. After waiting a few minutes to be seated. Time 2:41pm One of the servers came out of the kitchen and said. "Find a place anywhere". Doing so it took another few minutes before we were brought menus and water. Time 2:49 pm The restaurant was not overly busy having observed that most of the customers had been served. It could not have been busy since a server who told us to sit anywhere. Stopped what she was doing to have a shot of alcohol with a customer and chat. In all there were 4 tables in eating area who had been served. 7 front bar customers was well as 5 side area bar customers. 5 front bar customers ordered before us and then we put in our order. Time 3:03 pm. So after three fill ups of water waiting for food and seeing that the 5 bar customers had been served their food. Time 3:14 pm. Not receiving our order at 3:23pm we left "The Beach" never to return.. apparently the owners do not have a clue or care. Richard. read more

I was here on Saturday, being Labor Day weekend, it was not that busy as it normally is. Our waitress, Consuelo, took great care of us, constantly checking up on us. She recommended the loaded tater tots for the kids. They loved them, really tasty! I recommend coming here before going to the movies with the kiddos. read more

I really enjoy coming here during the week. Fridays and weekends it is a little loud for my taste as it is a bar and restaurant. I love their ahi tuna and the burgers are excellent. My wife really enjoys their steak. For the price they are hard to beat. The owners are very nice and often come around just to see how everything is going. I have given them feedback in the past and they truly take it to heart and correct things if they are off. read more

Went here for some beers and food with some friends. Waiter sat us down and told us the kitchen will be closed in 30mins. He brought us are menus and drinks and then stalled us from ordering. I came here with a girlfriend of mine and had such a wonderful time. We got here at perfect timing for there happy hour. Had a michelada and it was tasty. My friend and I shared a lot of appetizers before getting shots and mix drinks. Our server Consuelo was amazing, very informative on the menu and drinks. she was kind and made us laugh. Came in with the family around 3pm, I ordered their angel hair pasta and oh man was it not good. Only ended up getting about 2 forks of it. I told them about it and refused to exchange it for me or give a refund since I had already touched it. The same night I started feeling really bad from stomach then got headaches then fever then throwing up. I automatically knew i had been food poisoned. I called the next day and told them about and only offered to write my name down for a free meal, but obviously I refused and told them I will NEVER go back to eat there. Bad management. read more

Went there on a Friday. Husband and I walked in and stood there waiting for someone to greet us. A grey haired man in his fiftis comes over and starts wiping menus and looks past us as if he's trying to see maybe where he's going to sit us. Finally I say can we sit at this booth? He says you want this booth? I said yes. He finally says "ok". Another couple comes in, and he takes them to the back where the small tables are. The lady asked him for an empty booth close by He told her no, she asked why? It wasn't reserved. Finally after arguing with him they left? WHF! Not a whole lot of business going on. Do they save booths for special people? 15 minutes later a couple he knows walks in and he gives them the table. Wow! Felt bad for the previous couple. Food took an hour and 20 minutes to get to me while I watched 3 tables who came in half an hour after us get their food. Drinks were empty for 30 minutes. Absolutely terrible service!!!!!!! This place was great! The service was excellent and our server was courteous and attentive. The food was really good as well. You could tell the sauce, for the boneless buffalo chicken wings, was homemade. The 50/50 burger was excellent and packed with a really great bacon flavor. When relatives come to town this has been my go-to restaurant for a while. The food is good and the servers are always friendly. I did once get served a soup that was freezing cold, but it was immediately replaced so no harm done. This is a hidden treasure in Jurupa Valley for sure!! From the moment I walked in I could smell yummy food. I took a look around at what other patrons were eating and everything looked so yummy! I personally ordered the chicken with spinach and mushroom served with a shed potatoes and broccoli. It was AMAZING!! I also had the Bruschetta which was also an incredibly delicious. The portions are generous and easily can be shared by two with smaller appetites. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good eats. In the past I've written a great review of The Beach, however, I have found that on Sunday don't go until after 1 pm, the waitress told us that we could only order the breakfast, we went in at 12:15 and had to wait until 1 pm to have our order placed! If there had been another choice near by, we would have left! I still like the food, but management needs to meet the needs of their patrons! read more

The Beach has always provided us with great food and decent service. They boast an "aged" prime rib which I must say is absolutely delicious. "Taco Tuesday" is awesome with a pleasing assortment of $1.00 tacos to suit anyone's taste. The owner is really cool and the waitresses are really hot. The dining room is clean and well maintained.....the restroom is hit or miss (depends on how many nasty customers go in there I suppose)...but it's all good. We arrived five minutes before they opened but were welcomed and seated quickly. The atmosphere is laid back and even a little raucous feeling, although not that much at 11am! There is a jukebox for your musical entertainment and even a few games in the corner. Drinks were served quickly and I ordered the pastrami with fries. The sandwich was very tasty, loaded with deli mustard and pickles, and the meat wasn't very fatty at all. Normally pastrami has more fat than meat and is very greasy, but this was a very pleasant pile of meat! The fries were cooked perfectly and sprinkled with salt and pepper. My mate ordered their white fish tacos and because we were so early the rice wasn't available yet, so they substituted fresh veggies. We didn't expect much in flavor for the tacos from this establishment but were pleasantly surprised. The tacos had a nice flavor and even a bit of spice! The veggies were slightly crisp and not too salty. Restrooms were clean and well-stocked. Our waitress was very polite and accommodating; our drinks were never empty for long. Even the manager(?) came over and checked on us to make sure everything was satisfactory. All in all I was pleased with our meal and look forward to going back again!! read more

Ok.. We heard about this good place to go since there are no restaurants in Indian Hills worth a crap. So we tried it today.. Walked in it was a big room and a bar atmosphere. Noone acknowledge we were there.. so we sat ourselves at one of the tables, we sat there for 25 minutes and finally some guy who was walking out the door said he would get someone to help us. Finally 35 minutes later a girl shows up she was not very friendly and handed us a paper menu. We were wanting dinner however it was only 4 so we could only have a sandwich. We ended up getting a blt and a pastrami sandwich.. and fries.. the fries were hard as rocks the sandwich was nothing to write home about.. This place is a dud.. unless you want to go to a bar and drink. The food is horrible, the service is horrible and the menu sucks since you can only get lunch tell 5pm. Rethink going here. Several people walked in and never got waited on and left, some people beside us said it is 4 and all we can get is a sandwich and left to.. We Should of left to.. :O read more

I came Saturday night with my husband, my mom and my mother in law. We had the absolute worst service ever that we experienced. The sentiment is unanimous. One we waited forever to receive our food. The restaurant was not even busy. There were several empty tables. We asked the waitress why the order was taking almost an hour and others who arrived after us were already eating their entrees, after finishing their appetizers! She is unapologetic and says its bc we ordered an appetizer that we haven't got our dinner. What does that even mean??? I just said ok, we'll wait. and asked her to please remove the plates from our table. We had even stacked them neatly for her to take. She just said "uh-huh in a bit" and then walks away to take another tables order! When we talked to the manager he couldn't care less! It's like they're sleeping together or something because she was acting like she owned the place. The manager was drinking at the bar and he was the only manager on duty. Err we were done. We left and wanted to pay for just what we had received but they end up forking over the ENTIRE bill for what we ordered even though we hadn't received most of it!! no discount whatsoever. Needless to say we are NEVER coming back here again and we are going to tell everyone we know not to come here either! We mentioned our experience to some friends and ppl from work and they also said this place sucks and they had bad experiences too.
