Was at sauble beach with my wife and son to watch the sunset, and thought I'd pick up dinner. A lot of the places I found on yelp were not open and I didn't really feel like getting burgers... But given the lack of options I decided to try this place just because I parked my car across the street. I was pleasantly surprised. Ordered a bacon cheese dog combo with a poutine upgrade. I was surprised when they said the wait was 20 minutes but I did see a small line and I could pick up after sunset. The bacon cheese dog was average. It had all the necessary parts, but the sausage could have been bigger. The poutine was great. It had a good balance of cheese and gravy and is just the thing for the beach. Next time I'll try their burger. read more

Pretty decent burger joint Burgers seem to be made fresh on the flat top, so don't expect your food right away. The beach burger with the back bacon and pineapple is a nice beachy touch and something you don't find everywhere else back home. The special sauce is like a mix of teriyaki and bbq sauce maybe. I think I'd prefer if it was like Big Mac sauce instead sadly... maybe I should eat less McDonald's... The roped off patio is nice and so are the tables Cash and debit only They over charged me it turns out. I was looking at my bank account and I paid 16 dollars for a takeout burger no sides. Look, there aren't really a ton of options (unfortunately) in Sauble, but this is worth a stop if you are here for a weekend, and maybe two if you are here for a week! A half block from the beach and a little protected if the wind kicks up, Beach Burger delivers what you expect. Fresh burgers means that the wait can get a little long when it's busy, but they have a licence so relax and have a cold beer in the sun while you wait (and maybe even another while you eat, 'cus you'll probably finish the first before your burger arrives!) - you are on vacation after all! Prices are ok, about $9-12 for a combo. Wander by, no shirt, no shoes, no problem! read more

Had dinner here following an impromptu visit to Sauble Beach and it was very filling and satisfying. The size of the burger and poutine were just the right sizes, and perfect for their prices. Burger patties were nice and juicy. Fries, which you can upgrade to a poutine, were also very good. Reminded me a lot of In 'N Out fries with its fresh cut, perfect crispiness. I had mine upgraded to a poutine and really enjoyed their gravy. Staff were also very laid back and friendly. Would definitely go here again, next time I hit up this beach. 5/5. read more

Stopped by Beach Burger while going to Sauble Beach, the wait for our meal was about 20-30 mins which is really long for a burger joint. I got Chicken Tenders with a poutine (extra 1.99) and it was okay, wasn't given plum sauce though my friend was and asked for mayo to dip my tenders in and the employees were hesitant of it and said "give her the small one" as in the small ketchup cups. The pouting was pretty bland and I ended up eating my friend's sweet potato fries instead. Not my favourite place to go as there is so many other places along Sauble Beach to go eat at. read more

We were there yesterday and it was pretty disappointing. The service was great and really friendly (impressive considering the lineup was out the door), but the sub-par food was Underwhelming! The beach burger combo is $10.50, and it's a crappy value! The burger was so overcooked and dry, and the promised grilled pineapple and pea-meal bacon were sliced so thin you could barely taste them. The poutine is just shredded mozzarella and powdered gravy mix, not worth the $2 extra. The onion rings were of the standard frozen variety, but nice and hot. Best place for burgers in Sauble Beach. I had one with a deep fried chili pepper on it. Minus 0.5 stars because it is little overpriced (but it's a tourist town so that's forgivable) Minus 0.5 stars because there is a Burger's Priest in my neighbourhood. The onion rings were a little average. (But I like ones with more onion and less batter and these are the thickly batted kind) The whole town is an undiscovered gem, but close enough to Toronto that you don't feel out of place as a minority. Everyone was amazingly friendly to me except the couple I rented a cottage from (Bob & Jan, 207 Third Ave S.) They own the Putterama next door and Bob would keep walking by the place to check on things so I wasn't able to relax. Also, even though we mopped the floors, wiped down the counters, did the dishes and vacuumed they still kept my deposit because as Jan said "it could have been cleaner." Maybe I have a chip on my shoulder but those two were the only ones I felt treated my badly because I "wasn't a local." read more

The beach burger is one of my must stops on my trips to Sauble Beach. I saw their Son of a Beach burger on my last trip and decided to try it out. It's a bit of a wait but hey you are at Sauble. I sat outside and enjoyed the summer air and people watching while i waited for my number to be called. The burger is a delightful creation with deep fried battered Jalapeno rings. When you bite in you taste the juicy beef, then a few seconds later the batter on the jalapeno rings breaks down (i think!) and you get the late spicy hit. A nice one two taste experience. I will definitely order this on my next trip! read more

Stopped in for lunch the other day as we were just wandering around Sauble beach for the day. Great little takeout spot with lots of outdoor tables. I had the son of a beach burger which was really good and the fries were awesome. Everything is made as you order. Simple precise menu. While we didn't partake you can even get a beer if you want. Highly recommended. read more

I stop in here often when I head over to sauble. Great little burger joint that doesn't pretend to be something else. Burgers are great especially the son of a beach burger. The scenery walking by isn't too bad either! read more
