Convenient location right off the pike. Friendly & knowledgable staff. My son loved it. Great way to spend a rainy evening.

Went to Extra Innings the other day as part of an open practice/tryouts for a baseball league based…read morein the western Mass area, and it was a perfectly fine place to practice at! Our league had reserved two lanes (they really should have reserved three lanes, but that's on the league for not doing so), and there was enough room to do light throwing warm-ups, taking somewhat awkwardly-spaced ground balls, and perfectly fine pitching and hitting practice. There was about 10-12 players and another 7 coaches (all full-grown adults), so that 3rd lane being opened up probably would have come in handy. There were one or two youth teams occupying other lanes and they seemed to have plenty of room on their end. Just a heads up to players/coaches, use regular gym shoes or indoor turf shoes and not regular baseball spikes. There's no mock infield and the roof isn't tall enough to take proper fly balls, so this facility is really best for pitching and hitting practice. Taking grounders won't really replicate doing so on a real field due to the more bouncy turf surface, but you can still do so to get mechanics down if you really want. I didn't look too much into it, but they had a pretty decent pro shop with items to purchase. Overall, a perfectly fine indoor facility and no complaints on my end!

I'm leaving this review because I want other vendors--especially disabled vendors--to know what…read morethey're walking into. I was genuinely excited about participating in the Holiday Market at Sonny's Place. I toured the grounds with one of their ambassadors, discussed my accessibility needs, and was told they'd help me secure a comfortable setup. I even took the time to alert their team about scam posts on Facebook from people pretending to collect vendor fees--trying to protect their community. Instead of being met with professionalism or gratitude, I was removed as a vendor without explanation. No courtesy call, no clarity, nothing but dismissive behavior from Mackenzie, the person handling vendor relations. After everything I shared and the effort I put in, her response made it clear how poorly these events are managed. To make matters worse, the building itself is not ADA accessible, which violates the basic principles of ADA Title III. As a full-time wheelchair user, that alone speaks volumes. Equal access should never be an afterthought. I came in with good faith, ready to create something beautiful for families and children. Instead, I left disappointed, stressed, and honestly shocked at how little care was given to accessibility or communication. Vendors--especially those of us in the disability community--should think twice before signing up. Avoid the headache and the heartache. You deserve better than this.
