It's a small store with an area for custom candle making where the owner, Chrystel, will walk you through the process of selecting scents and colors for your candle. Us girls were completely drawn to the premade soaps which resemble slices of colorful bread. They smelled HEAVENLY and there were a few diff scents on the shelves. Soaps were $5 each and at first I was a bit hesitant, but Chrystel told us that everything is hand-made with natural & extremely hydrating ingredients (ex. shea butter, etc... *I can't remember all the ones she listed as its been so long so I'll have to give an update next time*)!! Honestly, the soaps smell so nice that I ended up rationing my treasured soap slice. Luckily, my friend went up last week and picked me up another one!! From what my friend told me, the owner is super flexible and if we call in before we head up, she'll custom make lotions and things for you! Would make for cute customizable gifts as well!

Dr. Wickwire prescribed me several medication's to a local pharmacy here and after 24 hours the pharmacy still did not have my prescription. We called back the next day, but the doctors office is only open on Mondays. We were directed to a Redondo Beach office of theirs and spoke to another nurse who assured me that they were gonna get the prescription thing figured out and fixed and even changed the location to a Walgreens down the hill. Well, it is now a week from my doctors appointment and I still have zero prescriptions filled. Updated: Called the redondo beach office for the 4th or 5th time and got an extremely rude receptionist that hung up on me multiple times and decided to cancel my upcoming appointment without me asking for it (I had already planned on canceling my upcoming appointment if I could find a different dermatologist before that date) I have never dealt with a more rude and disrespectful receptionist in my entire life. Do not go here, it's not worth the trouble.

Now let's begin, Check-in was fine, but things quickly went downhill. We were initially 3rd in line for the ski demo 'expert'. He seemed to be quite knowledgable to his credit and took his time with each customer. However, despite us waiting patiently, he started having people who arrived much later, cut in front of us. We somehow go from 3rd in line to being 16th. We stayed patient up until this point, until he got a little too excited with this younger girl behind us. This was the final straw. This is when I finally spoke up that we've been waiting a long time and needed to be taken care of first, when he got extremely salty. At this point his mood had shifted quite drastically. He starts by saying I notice you put 'Intermediate' as your ski level. For context, I was on the Mammoth Ski Team for 2 years when I was much younger. That being said, I hadn't skied in a few years by then and grew a few inches so I didn't remember my exact ski height. Continuing throughout our conversation, he says "Oh if you were an intermediate skier, you'd be able to know what your ski height is." Then proceeds to say this 3 more times throughout our interaction. The ski boot fitting station wasn't that helpful either as he had given me an ill-fitting boot that had a massive divot by the toe section. I proceed to hand it back and ask for him to get me a new pair after explaining the situation. And he blankly looks at me and asks if I need a new pair. This store was very disorderly and condescending. As an Asian customer, I feel like preferential treatment was given to others. This was not my interaction with Dustin (the owner that responds to these Yelp comments), but one of his employees.
