If you are coming from the west off 290 its headed towards south austin about 20min from Dripping Springs a few min past Belterra strip mall food area. Plenty of parking. Lots of seating on a Sunday around 12noon ish Thanksgiving weekend. No time limit on doing your chosen art. I tried glass making for the 1st and it was fun and challenging l. Instructions by the staff very useful! Friendly. Helpful. Welcoming. We each chose something different. Plenty of items small, med or large to chose from. Pottery comes with whatever pain you want, glass area there are easy and complex projects. You pay, they fire/bake the pieces and you show up about a week later to grab your pieces. We each got something around 40.00 or under. Time flew by. We were there for maybe 2.5hrs. My teens were not on their phones once. Engaged, creative, good family time. Bummer, guys, you should do much better informing parents what's up.

Even with everything going on, they ran an OUTSTANDING camp experience for the kids. Our 6 year old and his friend (8 yr old) both had a blast flexing their creativity, while learning a variety of artistic styles and expressions. We ended up registering for more weeks of camp because they enjoyed it so much, and created a wall-of-art to proudly showcase our boy's work at home (see photo). I highly recommend this place, it's amazing staff--especially, Sarah--and the safe, caring learning environment they provide for our precious kiddos.

I started with all 4 of my kids here, but when my oldest got too busy (junior year in high school) she had to stop and so my other 3 kids continued. Ms. Denise creates such a wonderful environment for her students. I love walking into the studio and seeing it decorated with warm hues and soft lighting and of course beautiful student artwork. Ms. Denise always has classical music playing in the background. It is so cozy I always feel like sitting down and having a cup of tea. I love this studio and am so glad to have found it. Kim made us feel right at home when we came for a visit. My daughter told me in the car on our way home mom this is the school for me. She never liked school and wasn't eager to go to school. It was like pulling teeth. When we found out 2 weeks before school started that my daughter got accepted there were tears of joy and happiness from her and I. We knew this was the perfect fit for her. She is so eager to learn and super excited everyday to attend Austin Waldorf School and wants to graduate here. My daughter has blossomed and has grown so much here. The teachers really take their time with the kids and love them as their own. I never experienced the care like they do at Austin Waldorf. The community here is so welcoming. We drive over an hr to get to school and it is well worth it. I cant say enough positive and inspiring words for this school. We made the best fitting and perfect school for my daughter. Thank you Austin Waldorf for this opportunity to teach my child!
