I never had any issues with my old roof in the 18 years that I lived here.They told me they were the only ones in the area who could offer the platinum warranty. They, however, did not follow the rules of attic ventilation... never even entered my attic to calculate it. They also installed a ridge vent on a 2/12 slope roof, another reason that my roof warranty is now void. They have no interest in fixing the situation and leave it up to me the home owner to research possible solutions. They then constantly change the date of repair putting new jobs ahead while my attic fills with heat, condensation, and mold. My dormer has a useless ridge vent that can cause leaks and is sucking out my heat and air conditioning causing my utility bills to double. As other reviews below have stated, the owner becomes extremely defensive and nasty and will not follow through on fixing his mistakes, which is causing a lot more damage to my home other than the roof. The owner would rather argue back and forth waiting for his two year contract to come to an end instead of stepping up and doing the right thing. He sold me a warranty that my 1964 house could not meet in criteria without major remodeling. I paid over and above to have this top warranty because he sold himself as a top installer. Since 2024 he has been removed as a platinum installer by Owens Corning, which is very concerning. He now pushes the GAF product that he talked down in 2024 as being subpar. He also stalled on filing my warranty in 2024 and almost missed the 60 day window. I had to keep calling in oder for the company to file it. How many people don't follow up and now have no warranty? Currently mine is voided because he didn't follow ventilation criteria and also didn't consider my home structure. He continues to argue back and forth wasting precious time as winter approaches. Because of the lack of ventilation my roof shingles are baking, my utility bills unaffordable, and my home structure getting ruined daily. Believe the negative reviews below. Disrespect runs wild at the company towards their high paying customers who they want to be accepting of subpar work. The way they speak to paying customers is truly unbelievable... There is no professionalism and they live for the day instead of thinking of maintaining reputation... which is how one stays in business longterm. Because of the seriousness of this issue causing my home to rot from the inside and bake the shingles from the outside, I have to seek legal counsel. And the company is well aware that they own the roof until December 2026 and that I cannot have anyone else in to fix prior because Owens Cornings makes the contractor liable for the first two years. What kind of company does that? Instead of coming out and taking the ridge vent off and opening the soffits, they purposely make sure that I can't move forward. But they will be held legally to the massive damage to my roof structure and any mold inside the dormer. Owens Corning has strict ventilation rules and Home Pro never stepped foot into my attic until a few weeks ago. Now they just want new jobs and don't want to allow a day to fix my issue so I won't have problems this winter. Going back and forth with them has taken time away from my family. They can't give up one day to do a fix ... they would rather cause stress and just keep taking on new jobs. The money they will lose on reputation and legal fees won't be worth it in the end. It seems illogical. This company does not stand by their work or warranty. With the many contractors out there, don't choose this one. Believe the negative reviews you read. Go with a company that will readily rectify any error and respects the investment you made in your home.

We contracted Bona-Fide Construction in January 2023 for a small bathroom remodel. Initially, we…read morewere informed that this would be a collaborative project in which they worked with the owner of the home to ensure satisfaction so we were looking forward to working with the company. However, we noticed that accessories, and appliance like the bathtup, towel racks, lighting fixtures were mostly their "idea". When they were done, there was quite a bit of cleanup that we had to bring to their attention like messy grout under the vanity which looked awful and paint causing the door to stick. There was also a lot of cleanup we had to do as there was dust all over even though they told us we did not have to move anything "out of the way". Fast forward to June, I contacted them due to several nails popping out of the "new" ceiling and they informed me that the warranty on their work had expired but as "courtesy" they would fix this item. Important to note here here is that the nails were popping out of the ceiling initially when they began the work and this was brought to their attention to which they responded that they would "take care of it". Initial issues included hot water coming out of "cold" water faucet; installation of a vanity which may have been damaged as it seems crooked as installed and the door - to this day - does not close properly. Technically, it was the wrong vanity to replace the old one as it's too high as well. Based on our experience, they do not work as collaboratively as they should with the owners. We depended on their guidance as supposed "experts in the field". I would not recommend them for bathroom remodeling.

I really wanted to use L&G so I questioned the gutter cost that was near double the lowest price point, as well I asked why we had to remove my current wood panels to install the siding when 5 other contractors felt it was better to install over the wood. Basically I was told my house would not look right and that the gutters were the lowest without them losing money. I reconnected with the other contractors and questioned the removal of the wood as I was curious if they were trying to save me money to win the bid and if that was actually best for my home. All 5 agreed it was actually better to install over. Fast forward, I went with a contractor who did not do gutters - so I waited to call gutter professionals when the siding was done. I collected 4 estimates as well as some to roof a barn shed. Ironically all these quotes were half of L&G's gutter quote which is what I found with the other siding contractors. One contractors who didn't do roofs suggested I reconnect with L&G. I did. I explained why I didn't use them and told them I was looking for the cheapest solution (product) to roof the shed. I asked if they would consider coming out for a fair estimate without any fluff or unnecessary add ons. The shed is nothing that need a spectacular metal roof and precision shingling. L&G declined coming out to provide a fair estimate and related they would not be the cheapest.

We needed someone who was above all honest, trustworthy, and made things easy. We were very nervous because the work we were having done was much more than we had engaged someone to do before, and everyone has heard a horror story about a contractor / bad home project. Our project was a finished half of our basement, including a full bath, mini-split HVAC, new electrical panel and framing around mechanicals that meant creating a mini-boiler room. The work that Eric's team did came out beautifully, the electrical and plumbing team he used was top notch, and we have a space we are very happy with. It seemed almost miraculous to us that with Eric, there really *was* nothing to worry about. What he said would happen, happened. When we had a question, we called him -- and he always took our calls and responded, fast, not to mention he was always up for a good laugh. He made practical recommendations that met what we said we needed, his people showed up when he said, and the work got done while staying completely out of our hair. It is true what their site says, that NEC is a family-run, long time business in this area, and it shows. Eric is a great guy, fun person to talk to, and he takes true pride in his work, as does his family who work with him every day. If you have a job that really matters to you, then I recommend you get a true general contractor, and that is definitely Eric.
