They completed the project on time, and communication throughout the process was good, especially when discussing finishes and design decisions. The team and crew were respectful of our home and did their best to keep things clean throughout the project. As with any remodel, a few unexpected issues came up, but they were adaptable, willing to address problems, and able to find solutions. Overall, we're very happy with how our basement turned out and appreciate A2Z Builders' professionalism, communication, and commitment to getting the job done. We would recommend them to other Denver-area homeowners considering a remodel.

The team helped us with selections, gave us timely updates, and checked in with us before any change or decision. Adam, one of our project managers, was a pleasure to work with: responsive, organized, and easy to communicate with. The finished bathroom looks great, and the craftsmanship shows. They also went above and beyond at the end. When the adjoining dining room needed some paint and trim work to tie everything together, they took care of it on their own because they wanted the finished result to be right. That saved us a long drive and a weekend of DIY. An old house always comes with surprises, and they handled every one professionally. We'd recommend them without hesitation.

After reading the last negative review about Rich Madura Development Group, I can tell you that…read moreyes, the job did take longer than anticipated but the end product was spectacular!!!!! My basement was being done a couple years ago when there were fires raging up north so good help was probably a big factor with getting the job done on time. We are so happy we were not impatient because Rich and his crew did one heck of a job. Everyone who sees our basement thinks we must of paid a million dollars because that is exactly what it looks like. Rich also undercut every contractor we interviewed (and there were many. ) and he ended up giving us more than we asked for. I cannot recommend a company more highly. Just don't be impatient and let the man do what the man does. Excellent work!!!!

Just stop and move onto the next company. This was an absolutely horrible experience for a pretty…read morebasic garage, 570 sq. ft. with storage. First, it took almost six months to build and that was mostly because Ken was completely nonresponsive. The electrician spilled some of the paint that had been used to paint the garage and he reported it to Ken immediately. Instead of taking care of it in a timely manner, the clean up did not happen until two weeks later because Ken would not answer calls or voicemails. By that time the concrete was ruined. Someone eventually came out to clean it up but now it looks smudgy, like when you try to erase a pencil with an old worn out eraser. The next problem was the storage area we requested. For a company that has been around for quite some time, we did not think this was a big ask but apparently it was. Their idea for storage? Putting plywood across the rafters. There is maybe two feet from the plywood to the top of the roof in the center. Definitely not enough space for any kind of storage. Ken could not be bothered by this and never even came by to look, even after he said he would. Their remedy for this nonsense was a paltry $750 discount. Let's talk inspections. The first inspection failed after the walls went up, then again when the gutters were installed, then again with the roof, and then the final inspection failed twice. So in summation, if you use these people you do so at your own risk, they really are an awful company with zero integrity.

We will use them for everything possible from here till forever now. They remodeled our entire master suite ...new walls, turning a tub into a rain shower, tiling, flooring, electric, doors... you name it, they did it with fantastic detail. They'd ask questions during the remodel about choices I never even thought about it which was so helpful! On top of the great craftsmanship the fact that they were super communicative, showed up on time every day and stayed in budget was just the best feeling in the whole world. I'll add some photos after we finish decorating but till then just know if I could rate them 100 stars I would.

Tyler was prompt with his reply, and the quote was very reasonable. When I met him, he brought along his assistant, Mike. I showed them what I wanted mounted and where, and they went to work. It turns out Mike has the exact TV I wanted mounted in the living room. He told me I had some pieces of hardware missing, but I knew I had them in a box in storage, so I would have to go get them. Tyler and Mike had family trips planned for the following week, and they offered to come back during vacation to finish the job. I told them that wasn't necessary, and they came back the week after. The TVs and soundbar are all installed and work perfectly. I can't thank them enough for the outstanding customer service. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again!

In summary, AC offers very high quality work for a fair price. After discovering that the previous…read moreowners of my home removed a load-bearing wall, a structural engineer informed me that I would need some serious repairs to fix the issue. I've renovated several prior homes myself, and I don't hire out jobs unless I absolutely need to, but this task was beyond my capabilities. During the quoting process, Alejandro at AC was one of the most thorough and took the time to discuss the project and patiently answer all my questions. His quote came out very fair for the scope of work. Throughout the project, Alejandro and his crew were friendly, respectful, clean, trustworthy, and efficient. When my engineer came out to sign off on the structural repairs, he said it was some of the best work he had ever seen. The final product was very impressive as well. I'm very picky about details when it comes to finish quality, and I often find myself touching up the work of others after they leave. That wasn't the case here - Alejandro's finish quality is top-notch, and won't require any additional touch-ups. I've already mentioned Alejandro to a couple friends who are considering renovations, and I'm sure I'll be hiring him again in the future.

He had given us a time frame of about 9 weeks (which was faster than anyone else) and I think it was closer to 10 or 10 1/2, but still fantastic. Let me first start with the price. His quote was by the far the least expensive and it wasn't because he does his own work (rather than just being a GC). And we probably only went over by about 10%, in part of because of some changes we made and in part because of some extra HVAC (which happens when you move walls). Second, his communication was really good. He was always quick to respond to text and would provide me with pretty detailed updates on progress and time frames. He was juggling a lot of different people for different parts of the project and sometimes the dates would move, but he was proactive for most of the changes. Next, the quality of the work was really good. We didn't have to ask him to re-do things and don't really have any complaints about the workmanship (his or his subcontractors). He doesn't have multiple crews (he does a lot of the work himself), so that was partially why things took a bit longer (he was wrapping one job at the start and then had to start a new job at the end of ours), but I can live with an extra week or so, given how long previous contractors took with projects. We're planning to use him for our back yard next Spring and I wouldn't hesitate to use him for any remodel you are looking to have done on time and for a fair price.
