Beer prices have remained low and very affordable over the years I have enjoyed Down Home. Also a great place to meet and talk to people in town. When I arrived yesterday, the White Horse announced that it was now a membership based non-profit business that will allow it to continue on indefinitely in service to performers and the community. One doesn't have to be a member but membership bring additional benefits depending on the level of participation. The performance was well attended, the music and acoustics outstanding, and the bar service appreciated. Just visit their website for info on upcoming shows and a breakdown of the new membership levels. This venue is definitely appreciated and supported by the community. It is worth a visit, contribution, and/or membership.
