a crowd of people sitting in chairs at a concert
    Cameron K.

I LOVED coming to Silverado's for a recent concert. It's a great little set up with a beautiful view of the NC mountains in the backdrop. It was my first time at Silverado's so I wasn't sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. I was at the event center to see the Summerland Tour with Everclear, Hoobastank, Living Colour, and Wheatus this past weekend. There were some chairs set up and after asking staff it was confirmed that they were available to be used by anyone. Some people had brought their own chairs from home but I didn't get the memo so I grabbed one of the venues free white chairs and took my seat for the night. They have an outdoor bar, food trucks, and porta johns so you have everything you need in a small space! The sound system sounded great and it was beautiful seeing the band play with the NC mountains in the background up until sun set. I took a ride share so I can't really comment on parking but I will say that the bar was reasonably priced. I think $8 for a tall boy isn't a bad deal! It looks like they already have a full line up for the summer and fall of 2021 so definitely check out Silverado's. You have to purchase a membership in order to get in but it's only $1 and lasts a lifetime.

Wonderful concerts all summer long. Friendly staff and great variety artists. Please visit them next spring for all their upcoming shows.

The staff is super-friendly, the space is comfortable, especially during their construction/renovations, and the sound is stellar. She Said: As He noted, this is a great place to see a band. Plenty of space to set up your chairs, lots of room to dance, and welcoming to all ages. And the town itself is great for hanging out between trips to Pisgah. We will definitely come back. Potty Points: With 0 being the worst port-a-potty ever and 5 being the best, the potties here score a 5. They're kept incredibly clean, and there are enough that even during a popular show there was never a wait!

That sucked for me since that's my favorite kind of craft beer. Free stickers are offered and they had maybe a dozen beers on tap at various prices. Seems like a really cool venue for music and the Saturday afternoon we were there they had a food truck out back. We found our bartender to be very friendly.

They left out the part about it being one of their favorite places. We took our dog and what a pet friendly area Black Mountain is. We sat outside and were greeted by Kakki. If you go or I'll say when you go, ask for Kakki. She was not only sweet but an incredible and knowledgeable server. We were all looking over the menu and made choices. We'll all but me ‍ Ordered was the burger which our friend said was delicious but more so he kept raving about the potatoes. Next ordered was the French toast which our other friend said was amazing. Then my wife ordered the lamb stew with rice. Ugg that is what I wanted so of course I had to change my order. The stew was Fantastic, delicious, flavorful, did I say delicious. Now for me. I was looking at the pies. There was the chicken and mushroom, spinach and feta and then Kikki said"so you want the peppers steak. I said , well I guess so. Wowwwww great choice. Sooooo good and the mashed and gravy was excellent. There was also a peri peri sauce that was yum. If you are in Black Mountain and do not go here, your loss Ciao for now

We stayed in Lotz Lodge, a beautiful modern facility set among the historic grounds -- the perfect balance of comfort and tradition, ideal for family reunions or gatherings of 12 or more. The lodges have everything you need, plus easy access to the incredible amenities on site and nearby attractions: the charming cafes and shops of Black Mountain, Asheville's vibrant scene and the Biltmore Estate, local apple orchards, and even tubing down the French Broad River.
