Great location. Beautiful hills in the background. Wide open area. Worked great for the Soul of the South festival. Staff a friendly and helpful. Parking is close. Sound was good. They don't over charge for water and soda. I didn't try the alcohol so I don't know what the prices were on that but I know you can stay hydrated and not go broke. We had a great time. read more

Every time we have been to your venue the sound sucks! We came to see Ryan Upchurch and your speakers and mixing sucked!!! It was terrible!!! If you going to be a music venue, get you some decent speakers and someone that knows how to run sound. Upchurch had to stop the concert several times due to the sound being messed up!! Also those big banners block the view! either move the banners back or build the stage out so people on the sides can see who they Paid good money to come and see! Get it together before you bring big name people i hear. Upchurch is a legend and has a BIG following. We were so disappointed! And on top of all that we got stopped on the way out for a water bottle?!?!? WTF!! You charge us 9.00 for 2 bottles of water and made us throw it away before we walk out and go home??? I could see if it was alcohol but freaking water???? come on!!! We probably won't be back. read more

One of the most unorganized venues! We bought a parking pass and then we're told a shuttle would come to pick us up which was not the case so we walked. Got to the venue and we had to wait in line to get a "club membership" which I understand it being NC law for clubs, then waited in line to get in the venue through security. Walked over to get in line for a beer only to be told after waiting we had to go get a wristband proving we were of age then had to go wait in a line again to get a drink. No one gave us instructions and they had zero signs telling us this was the process. The website is a joke and gave no real instructions on what to expect upon arrival. The stage sight line is nice and the mountains are beautiful but the sound was not good! Bass was rattling worse then a crappy 12 subwoofer in the back of a 16 year olds hatch back civic! Security were running around the venue with police with no regard for fans experience. I was walked into by these folks twice while standing still in place with lots of room around me to get by but still knocked into by "security!" Several staff members we interacted with appeared and acted like tweeker meth heads from the local trailer park. They had 12 PortoJohns for 3500 people so if you are one of those people that just love waiting in lines then this is absolutely the venue for you. If you like attentive/kind service, decent sound, and a good concert experience...Silverado's is not for you! read more

Went to concert last month. Bottom line Is if can see the same band somewhere else we will Security was dumb and slow. Painfully slow And once on the other side many people realized they checked everything. Except our tickets. Duh The gravel in the audience area is suitable for a construction parking lot And thank you for charging me 3 dollars for a bracelet that then qualified me to purchase overpriced beer Nice location. I LOVED coming to Silverado's for a recent concert. It's a great little set up with a beautiful view of the NC mountains in the backdrop. It was my first time at Silverado's so I wasn't sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. I was at the event center to see the Summerland Tour with Everclear, Hoobastank, Living Colour, and Wheatus this past weekend. There were some chairs set up and after asking staff it was confirmed that they were available to be used by anyone. Some people had brought their own chairs from home but I didn't get the memo so I grabbed one of the venues free white chairs and took my seat for the night. They have an outdoor bar, food trucks, and porta johns so you have everything you need in a small space! The sound system sounded great and it was beautiful seeing the band play with the NC mountains in the background up until sun set. I took a ride share so I can't really comment on parking but I will say that the bar was reasonably priced. I think $8 for a tall boy isn't a bad deal! It looks like they already have a full line up for the summer and fall of 2021 so definitely check out Silverado's. You have to purchase a membership in order to get in but it's only $1 and lasts a lifetime. read more

The backdrop of the mountains and the sound system/stage was great. But that's where the good stuff ends. Logistics need to be worked out. Arrived with tickets already purchased (oddly no one actually ever asked us for them), but couldn't avoid the first line because everyone had to have a membership to go in. While I understand that is a law, their website should have offered that purchase when buying tickets. It's only $1, but you have to fill out a paper for each person in your party, so it slows things down. Security was the next long line. If you brought your own chair, prepare for them to take it out of the bag and open it. In light of recent mass shootings, we were okay with security measures taken, but plan accordingly. That line was long. Even though you aren't allowed to bring in a bag, we still saw ladies with large purses (def larger than a wallet/clutch) welcomed inside. Then everything just gets more insulting. Planning on drinking? Stand in another line to get a wristband, for which they CHARGE another $3! Only 1 person was working this line, so before you've even gotten settled, you've now waited in 3 long lines and been nickled and dimed. (Forgot to mention $10 for parking next door.) Then you get in a drink line and only 1 tent is selling beer (2 sell liquor). This line also has only 1 person working, so in line forever again. When buying the tickets, the site said there would be food trucks there. Decided to feed the family dinner there. Well the only place with food was KISS and they only had standard burgers, hot dogs, and pulled pork with a side bag of Lay's chips. This was far from the advertised "food trucks." I saw they were passing out some kind of delicious rice and chicken dish, but when I tried ordering it, they said it was for employees only. Bummer. We were able to snag 4 of their folding chairs for our use, so that was nice. I had a blanket in the car in case we needed more seating, but I'm glad we didn't need it because the ground is all large gravel -- that would have been very uncomfortable. Overall, the venue is great for music, but they've got to work out logistics. read more

If you haven't been to Silverado's for a concert yet I definitely recommend it. Just saw my first show last night and it was amazing. Matt Stell, George Birge and Ryan Perry rocked it. Staff were amazing. They were all so helpful and friendly and the ease of access and convenience of the venue is great. Definitely a great place to hang with friends and family. And they will make you feel like family. Glad I was able to finally see a show. Hoping to see many more in the future. read more

The stage and sound are very high quality, especially considering the location off the beaten path. The crew are very local and country, they are as accommodating as possible. The sound technicians with XL Media are exceedingly professional and top of the line. Lines can be long to get in but this is because they are following rigorous safety standards, which is appreciated at a rock show. I have found some surprising high quality acts for the venue size. Brian McKnight and Yngwie Malmstein were definitely highlights. Bring earplugs because it is LOUD. read more
